Pool Noodle on the Camper hatch edge! Just a suggestion!
Picked up a new in the box slumberjack tarp on craig slist for $40. Gathering as much information as I can about it 👍
That's a GREAT deal! Love those finds! Enjoy!
@@annielee6557 Thanks, Annie! If you have a Slumberjack tarp, I hope you're getting the best out of it! 😁👍
On mine, I got a cheap foam "pool noodle" cut to length to fit across the lip of the hatch, and split lengthwise down the middle on one side. Fits snugly over the hatch lip and really helps in protecting the tarp rubbing in that area. Great video by the way, gave me what I needed to know to get one for my Rubicon.
I just got this tarp for my Hyundai Santa fe Sport. I do not have a roof rack but found these suction cups from harbor freight work well to attach to.....

Pool noodles on sharp edges work well.
Thank you for the mention guys!!!! BigSkyOverlanding
Is it waterproof?
Yes. It is 68D polyester/1200mm.
Bug Out Montana BOM Have you used it in heavy rain and confirmed that?
We don't live in Washington anymore! :D
Nice review thanks for the information 🙌 just ordered mine
Hope you enjoy it!
Ohh you guys! I love the unrehearsed script! What do you need to make it water repellent?
Thanks Joy! It is 68D polyester/1200mm so it stands up to rain.
any thoughts on how well this would work with an ARE topper that has dual doors that open out to each side? I'm concerned that my door corners would open into the tarp and maybe even tear it...
The tarp and poles are very durable. The poles are tall and give you many different set up positions.
Do you need a camper top for this to work right?
Nope! It wraps around the cab.
