I have the bass mafia box and I was annoyed at how much you pay vs the finish quality. I had to modify my lids for the hook and weight boxes because they would not open. Don’t get me wrong the bass mafia is a nice box but that Plano box is where it’s at. Thanks for the great comparison you definitely sold me on trying them out. Great job Mark 🍻

Being a kayak angler also, I am concerned with space. Using the thin Plano 3700 boxes, I can use 3 in place of 2 standard ones plus the one handed open and close is what convinced me to use the Plano edge series. I use the Flambeau tough crate and I have 2 normal sized 3700 boxes and 5 thin boxes giving me a total of 7 boxes instead of 5 normal width boxes. This allows for a greater variety of baits/tackle. I also have switched to the Gamakatsu G box for hook storage. They hold tons of hooks that can be removed easily plus the box also opens with one hand.
Great review again! You might want to go in get qa wfew more newer boxes that are now available for hooks and spinner baits. This entire line is great! Might want to con doing a one year review of this lineup featuring its performance and any changes you suggest making, or additions to your arsenal now available. Great job! On the large weight boxes do you think that you could put a 1 1/4oz to 2oz weight in them wanting to get this system to store big weights for punching thick vegetation?
3600 is smaller in size, if your looking for an easy way to get it in and out of the Back Pack than yes. I like the 3700 because of its size and I prefer that it’s a little more difficult to get out of the pack. If god for bid I flip and the black pack pops open. The 3700 box won’t fall out as easily. Just comes down to your personal preference. The 3700 also holds more terminal tackle too. Thanks for watching

I only go up too 1oz tungsten, I think 1 1/4 yeah probably. 2oz I don’t think so. To be sure I would call Tackle Warehouse.
