  • Tackle management doesn't have to be a nightmare! In today's buyer's guide we're covering some of the best storage solutions for line, baits, and gear. These are the tools we use to stay organized. Whether we're at home, on the boat, or traveling, these items make our lives easier and keep our gear secure.
    After catching fish, keeping our gear organized is one of the biggest challenges in fishing. You can invest a fortune in your tackle management so to help narrow it down, we're sharing our favorite items. Each of these items came out of our personal gear and is an item that has tangibly helped us stay more organized.
    If any of these items stand out to you, you can find them linked below. We've listed them in the order they appeared in the video to help you find the right items quickly. All the links go directly to Tackle Warehouse where you can see detailed photos and descriptions of each item.

    No boat here just a kayak fisherman but I don't know if you've tried them but I like the wraptor tackle roll. It's not the best for everything but I really like their soft plastic storage roll. It's the best thing I've found for non clamshell storage and it slides right under my seat. I also use their starting lineup roll for technique specific stuff. I use one for all my top water baits, I'm not really into crankbaits as far as bass fishing goes but I use another for all my walleye crankbaits and the bottom pouch holds my bottom bouncers(had to trim about an inch off to make them fit). I'm still looking for the perfect kitech storage solution, right now it's either grab 4 or 5 and throw them in my fishing backpack or throw em in the drawstring bookbags with my 68's and trash fish.

    Great video! I’m not sure if anyone in your families are “crafters” but my wife is and she uses ‘transfers’ for making signs or on re-purposed furniture. The transfers come in clear plastic tubes with slide off lids that have an eyelet for hanging. These are perfect for holding compressed A-Rigs with the baits attached. You can hang them to store or just stack them on their sides. They keep them perfectly and 3 or 4 take up almost no room in your boat. I just turn over the label that comes inside and write which A-Rig is in the tube on the back so you can see it by just looking at the tube. You should check them out. Anyway, thanks for yet another quality video.

    We should create a “fisher of men” charity where folks can donate extra/excess tackle and gear to new or struggling anglers…like a Goodwill for fishing gear. I never see a fisher with 2 lures and one pole, always a dozen boxes and partial hoards of just in case extra stuff. We could help each other enjoy the sport and make space for more toys… The internet brings the qty of people needed to scale it up to work….it’s an idea!

    The sickness is real! It’s getting hard to hide tackle when I need new boxes🤣. Got an earful today because my Black Friday rod purchase showed up. Wife said now I have to sell one. “So it’s ok to upgrade?”.🤣

    I love how some of the baits (jackhammer for example) show weights actually on the bait. Is there an easy way to identify jigs by weight? I was thinking about putting a color on the hook where the plastic would cover it. All 1/4 oz. jigs , for example, have the same color code? Anything easier?

    What’s up with them posting at 3:30 pacific time every night? I’m not saying I don’t like them always coming out with very helpful content it’s just kind of a strange time of the night to post unless your in Australia then you must love the timing of this. Whatever the reason is keep up the great content and hard work!

    • @tacticalbassin
      @tacticalbassin  2 года назад +6

      The timing is so that everyone across the country can catch them before going to the lake or work. They come out at 6:30 AM Eastern Time 👍🏼

      It does suck being on Pacific Time but putting videos out early on a Saturday or Sunday is a good thing for their channel.
      I find the best success posting my videos on a Saturday morning at around 7-8 am Eastern time.

    I don't have shad in my home lake, so I try to stick with the next best thing. Shiners, this lake is littered with them but I can't figure out where the schools go when the water drops to the 40-34° range? I'm usually blind casting a suspending jerkbait around vegetation, lay downs, and under bridges hoping I can catch any patterns. Does anyone know what I should do to be more successful?

    I'm trying to think about Sustain vs Twin Power reel. I wade fish for smallmouth all summer in rivers, so the reel will inevitably get wet (dunked or splashed) This is where the Sustain's full seal would come in handy. Does the Twin Power have this feature as well? Or it wouldn't do as well getting wet.
    Anyways thanks for all these videos this week, you're so helpful for me.

    • @tacticalbassin

    Yellow nevwr been my fav color but I m loving mine which I found on line for sale cheaper which for me helps I run a kids fishing group. And i take alot baits fishing to give to the kids. So having nice boxes that dont break easy is nice. Just wish I could afford more I m disabled. Packing up to have easy access is great for me. So o finally got me a utility truck all that storage in them tool boxes I can get to standing or setting on my electric scooter or wheel chair. So I m trying to find good boxes wont break moving alot. I can lock it all up so no loading and unloading one side bé just kids baits I give free. One side for my baits tools and stuff ill need fishing or to help me while out. But ide love to buy just the Plano which ive used most my life and wish the edge was out when I could work to get more. But I have 2 for jigs hope to find one for spinner baits snd hooks and weights need 2 to 4 we give a lot alot hooks away I have to take so many sizes and kinds. O and I made hook book shows each hook I have its my second book well album I use photo inserts and set up hooks small to big of each style like worm hook or circle write brand stlye on small foam piece draw each hook place tape down. First book was huge wish I could find the man who stole ide buy it back. This one now 6 pages I have to find hooks at hard sales only need 1 pk each size style I use 1 hook in book have 1 extra want to make another book just in case and 1 empty pk behind hooks 1 to show what the brand pk looks like not 1 of each size 1 for all sizes. But its been 3 years working on taking forever finding different hooks. Wish I could post on line help would love to get help if a lot people could send 1 or 2 pk hooks each or pick one style like circle hook send 1 of each size and maybe 2 will send same ill have the 2 and any extra give to the kids. Hooks get pricey buying so many pks bit jist few hooks most have 6 to 10 sizes if alot send 10 hooks only 2 pks each would be blessing for group. But ill work on it till cant no more who ever takes over my group they can keep building it up. But for now finish my hand I cap fishing truck and keep giving to the kids. Loved your video on difrent boxes love the water prof man needed them for years. Lol. Yall have a good season. God bless
