Best video for equipment, that I have ever watched. You hit a home run with this one. It covers the whole spread of fisherman and their needs. Congratulations!
My brother and I also use TB’s regular videos for buying tackle. There is so much out there it’s easy to get questionable quality. Matt and Tim always use the best stuff, so it’s easy to basically go off their recommendations and adjust as needed for my local water. Thanks guys! You make fishing fun and a heck of a lot easier for us guys who don’t fish for a living.
Thanks guys for all your diligence! I know it’s a ton of work to pump out the vids like you do. With that being said, the sale stuff this year at tacklewarehouse has been a bit clunky and to be frank frustrating. Hopefully next year they change it back!
Unfortunately there's nothing we can do about those sales. But we can say the best is yet to come and this series will end with the rod and reel combo videos everyone is missing 👍🏼
I jumped on the Buzbe Colony 15 deal and got the boxes in two days. All I can say is WOW. These are the highest quality tackle boxes I have ever had. Now I MUST have more.
Absolutely love the Buzbe spinnerbait storage bag. Pure genius that will save me tons of space in my boat over the current storage option. That was a great find in this video, as was the rapala hair jig box. Those are two purchases I will definitely be making for my 2024 storage options.
I have made costly mistakes buying the wrong tackle management solutions, that turned out to be less solution and more problem. This video, however, has been Super helpful information to me and I feel hopeful. And I see the things that will most help me manage my tackle so again much appreciated. Thank you and Thank you both.
One thing I found recently are Bait Binders. So you open it and there’s zippered pouches with clear windows, they are on binder rings to flip through them easily. Work great for plastics
Used the Plano edge boxes for years ...several of them have warped from the sun which causes them to be difficult to close. Trying the buzz bee now. So far very impressed
This was a great video on probably the most underrated aspect of fishing, but one of the most important. I'm constantly changing my bags and boxes as my needs change, and you have some products here, that will no doubt take more money out of my pockets. lol cheers!
Man. Y'all are killing this series. Covering all the goodies for us geeks who love fishing and tackle hoarding. Lol. I need to come down to chik and fish with y'all or if you come up the river to watts bar we can fish my backyard. Thanks fellas.
Tim/Matt. You guys are always thinking ahead❤ when it comes to winter and storage. Two takeaways: the plano reel storage doesnt fair well with spinning reels Last, not sure whats going on with TackleWarehouse. This year ‘s balck friday sale was a doozy. 😢
Spinning reels work great in there IF you remove the handles. And TW has definitely taken a new approach to the sales this year. There is still a lot more to come. We'll see how it went when we get to New Years 🤷🏼♂️
Great video. Thanks for the great information. Have you checked out the KastKing boxes that are basically a knock-off of the Plano Edge boxes? I must say they are very comparable, and in fact I prefer their latch system over the one on the edge box. They stay securely closed better than the Planos. All this for about half the cost.😊
Great video per usual thanks for doing these Matt/Tim. P.S. agree and echo what many others have said this years TW sale is a bust. Definitely prefer the old format. I ordered several things from other sites.
Great content guy's! I'm glad you mentioned Owner hook bonnets. They not only keep baits from tangling but they also protect those expensive hooks. I use them on all my hard baits.
Thank you, Matt and Tim. Huge thumbs-up for including the bank angler in this Guide. Would love to see a Buyer's Guide dedicated to this oft-overlooked style of fishing sometime down the road. Good luck to those heading out to have a go at the bass today, and I hope everyone has a great Monday!
This is always my favorite Black Friday video. I end up buying a new tackle bag/backpack/box every year, either upsizing or downsizing, since I can never get it quite right. That sunline bag looks like a perfect candidate for my soft plastics pond prowler storage this year 🧐
I ran a camel pack for years and would take it on boats etc. Once I got my kayak I made a crate and finally got Plano edge boxes which are really nice and then you solved my problem for soft plastics. G9t two of the Buzbe and should be happy with them.
Thanks guys- I'll be investing in some of these. I can't tell you how many times condensation has messed up my plastics, hooks etc.. ziplock bags get old! Lol
Lmao. Got a $500 hinkle just buried at the bottom of a box. Tim couldn’t help but laugh. That one got me laughing. If you’re not into big bait world, you wouldn’t understand lmao but he had the “holy grail” of baits just thrown into a random box like that. 😂
Thank you guys for taking a deep dive into everything you do! I know this question might be unrelated to the video, but would you recommend a 7’ 2” MH expride for a lighter swim jig rod?
🤣🤣 you have the price of a boat in tackle storage. At one time, many years ago, anglers used one big tackle box with slide out drawers. Boats were designed to accommodate the box. Usually in front of the console. Thanks for sharing your great information. Very helpful.
I still think the old Plano blue spinnerbait box is the best I don’t know why they quit making it but for organizing and number of baits, no one has beat it in my opinion.
Great video! I just got a much larger boat and struggle with how to organize the open compartments. My boxes slide around quite a bit. Any videos or info on that?
I do like the girst thought of more tackle!! I went from a tracker pro 160 to a pro 190tx. It has the center rod locker and 2 open storage spaces on each side of it.
I like those rod straps. I drive a jeep Cherokee and I keep about 15-20 rods in it year round, with that being said the tapping, clicking, clacking jitter jabber noise drives me insane. I've got a few of the rod socks but even without those the straps you showed would save me a ton of headaches and near death wrecks from separating my rods while going 88 miles an hour. Lol. (not really more like 8.8mph) 😂
Not the 6th sense, but there are half a dozen brands making them now and we've tried a few. The only take away is the overall weight compares to normal sleeves.
awesome video!!! i had a question on the buzzbee cubes is the medium deep or large deep good for storing keitech swim baits 2.8-4.3 it's hard finding storage for them?
The 1 question I have every year is keitech style swimbaits and the clam shells they come in. How do you stir them?? Buzbe sounds great but I doubt you can fit that many in them. I hope to hear a response and thank you for some other great storage ideas
@@tacticalbassin I've been using the flambeau 4510 boxes for the last year. Not a bad option but take up a lot of room and I have to cut the top off of every clam shell to make them fit. Thank you for the reply! I'll be trying that option this year for sure!! They always take up so much room but I feel like I have to carry a ton due to how many you can go through in a day
Thanks for the video, great stuff. Sadly this is the first time in MANY years I didn’t even spend 1 cent at tackle warehouse. Real bummer how they reworked the sale this year and in my opinion it was a disaster of a decision on their part. What are they thinking? SMH
We have no idea what their plan is. But zi can tell you there sale is no where near over. It's going for a few more weeks so you may yet find something you want.

I love watching videos on this topic. somethings I already knew and others are just amazing to see what is out there !
Always hit the thumbs up before I even watch because I know the videos are going to be amazing as always.

I reaily like those spinnerbait bags, thanks for all the work. The yellow plano boxes are the deal for almost every thing else in my boat.
Those bags have completely changed my spinnerbait game. My storage space waste was cut by 2/3 and I'm loving it!
One thing I found recently are Bait Binders. So you open it and there’s zippered pouches with clear windows, they are on binder rings to flip through them easily. Work great for plastics
What a great series you guys made, best one yet from your previous ones, 👍
Thank you!
Thank you for all you do. Bless you and your families during the holidays.
Thank you so much!
Used the Plano edge boxes for years ...several of them have warped from the sun which causes them to be difficult to close. Trying the buzz bee now. So far very impressed
warpage, rusted hinges, poor closure, and chipped inner grey slots from tungsten.....should be better considering the cost.
Same here..Buzbe is far superior.

Yes! Those squares are awesome!

@@tacticalbassin at least for this winter…by spring I’m sure I will need to change it 🤣

I think a cool video would be going through y’all’s tackle collection
Lakewood. One of my best buddies owns it. Have their products. Hard to beat. Great products. Great people.
Awesome! Small world! We've been eyeballing the products for years, was stoked to find one that met the needs of larger swimbait anglers.

The face Tim made seeing the hinkle shad in the box 🤣
😂😂😂
Went fishing yesterday 11/27/2023
Largest bass 6.5 pounds
All five 28 pounds +
Life is good in Georgia 😎
The Buzbe medium soft looks awesome for 2.8 Keitechs 👍👍👍
Thanks guys- I'll be investing in some of these. I can't tell you how many times condensation has messed up my plastics, hooks etc.. ziplock bags get old! Lol
That's the worst!!
The diawa d box is the new boxes i have moved all my boat tackle to ,the modularity and waterproof is far above all the ones you have mentioned.
We just got some of those this Fall and have begun experimenting with them as well 👍🏼
Excellent, once again!
Thank you!
Lmao. Got a $500 hinkle just buried at the bottom of a box. Tim couldn’t help but laugh. That one got me laughing. If you’re not into big bait world, you wouldn’t understand lmao but he had the “holy grail” of baits just thrown into a random box like that. 😂

Hey you guys should do a review on Googan baits, Is if worth it?
Thank you guys for taking a deep dive into everything you do! I know this question might be unrelated to the video, but would you recommend a 7’ 2” MH expride for a lighter swim jig rod?
Great job on the video. I have one question what do you keep your flipping jigs in thank you.
Love the content as always, a morning ritual!! What part of SC are y'all headed to?
Charleston 👍🏼
Matt and Tim you’re the best helping fellow tackle junkies find solutions. What is your best solution for keitech plastics?
We're currently storing them in their blister packs in the Buzbe Quik Qube Large and large deep.
@@tacticalbassin Thanks guys. Perfect..that is what I ordered.
would love to see your overstock tackle in your garage or shed! Thanks guys!

Ha! We've fallen a long way from then! Those were much simpler days!
A old CD case works for spinnerbait or gamakatsu hooks
And cheap clear zipper cosmetic bags are great soft plastic bags.
I still think the old Plano blue spinnerbait box is the best I don’t know why they quit making it but for organizing and number of baits, no one has beat it in my opinion.

More tackle = tighter storage? 😂 Seriously there are some aftermarket brands that make great divider systems. What kind of boat?

Not the 6th sense, but there are half a dozen brands making them now and we've tried a few. The only take away is the overall weight compares to normal sleeves.
What would you guys recommend for jig storage(football ,flipping, etc)?
I know I'm far from the first, and won't be the last, but I just wanna say. Thank you guys.
Thank you! We really appreciate the support!!
Thanks guys
First. Love your buyer’s guide videos but I’ve spent way too much money this weekend!
Ha! It happens!! We held this video back to time it with the sale on boxes and storage so you didn't get hit with full price 👍🏼
awesome video!!! i had a question on the buzzbee cubes is the medium deep or large deep good for storing keitech swim baits 2.8-4.3 it's hard finding storage for them?
Yes, we store them in the large and large deep, they work well for those blister packs.

looking for a box that would hold 8" & 9" Nichols Ben Parker Magnum Spoons - any recommendations ??
those spro boxes can you get away with 3/0 to 5/0 hooks in it? like you want to make it a terminal box for a co dangler?
Yes, the individual compartment dividers are removable 👍🏼 There is a limit but you can definitely get larger hooks in.
I am in desperate need of a new, quality jerkbait box.
Bout time lol, let's goooooooo
🙌
What do you store your buzzbaits in.
How do you guys store jigs?
How well do you guys think the buzbe stuff would hold up on a saltwater environment?
It should be great, I don't see any weak points.
Not sure if it's not mentioned due to a sponsor conflict but the KastKing Hyperseal series is practically a Plano Edge clone at a better value.
We don't do sponsor conflicts around here... its all truth all the time. 👍🏼 You may have noticed KastKing in the first Buyer's Guide of the series.

Should be today at 9AM (PST)
