Because so many people, especially the customers, lack common sense and logic these days. They believe they are paying for a service, therefore, they can treat the servers however they please. For instance, if you were already in a rush to catch a plane, first of all, that's your own fault for not arriving at the airport earlier, let alone ordering something that will take time to complete. And whatever the situation is, if the server offers to refund you, take it, walk away, and never return to the same shop, it's that simple. Why egg on the server to a degree to get into a physical altercation, you never know what the other person is capable of doing! You are risking your personal safety over a cup of coffee, that's just a dumb move.

I think it's a culture issue. A lot of entitlement issues too. If you need to urgently catch a flight then don't get coffee.

I don't get it, it's just unreasonable to have one worker.
So either you get more workers, or workers start making piss poor coffee as in italian espresso houses.

The poison of caffeine dependance and withdrawal.. It looks just like too in the two examples shown in the video, as the customer who became agitated first and escalated. Not to say the response of the service staff can be excused. But it takes two to tango
