I love how super into it Adam is while the others are absolutely horrified.
I also think that Brit is actually more affected by Alan leaving than Rowan. She's getting more and more unhinged with enthusiasm, while Rowan was just in deep denial. Alan was truly the glue that kept the both of them grounded.
Adam has just been Stockholm Syndrome'd to the point where he's institutionalised to just accept and be happy.

Its a bot everyone, stop giving it likes. Chat bot can write pretty believable stuff nowadays but its still a spam. This one is especially obvious with that explicit profile picture and that link on is channel that redirects you to multiple different fake dating website. Also he created is channel only a week ago.

This reminded me of this job I had where we were given training on how to pretend to care when dealing with customers. I asked “but why wouldn’t me actually care?” And was laughed at by everyone.
I left and moved overseas after that.
You go in for a job, then expect not to care for customers WHICH IS YOUR JOB to care, then proceeds to complain about it and walks out... Yeah grow up a little more, yes? Maybe then you will realize what it means to get a job and to be PROFESSIONAL, than treating it like some schoolyard "all about me me me, I listen to NO rules" type attitude.

TechTown policy is less strict on workplace poos than PlayTech much to Rowan disgust, another reason he hates working under the 'tyrannical' rule of his father.
When they say that "we're a family here" that means you'll have to work with a weird 'uncle', and strange 'cousin', and bossy older 'brother' who pretends to be friends with you, and your envelope with overtime and such pay will mysteriously disappear when your 'dad' passes by your desk.

Britts unhinged workaholic character provokes in a very similar way Rowan does, but the way she elicits those responses is wildly different. VLDL's never stopped sharpening their character interactions, down to even the most subtle of facial expressions. Britt's extreme character is such a synergy bomb that adds an entirely layer of depth to a cast of incredibly refined actors who quite literally make it look natural.
I especially loved the clip art, Britt’s (apparently overloading) brain chip, and Adam’s daft grin, but the whole thing was marvellously evil, banal, and claustrophobic. Great work, Techtown Family!

Britt reminds me of how I was in school (grade school, college, and even grad school) when it came to presentations. I definitely don't miss those days. I love the creepy circus music starting up with the cameras being introduced. Ellie's head shake at "I like to keep track of my family." yep, I hear that. Adam's continued enthusiasm is precious.
Just in time, I just got done watching the entirety of the Bored series and even Epic NPC man.
Despite only being here since the start of the TechTown Era, it feels like I've been here for years.

I also work at a computer store, So when the invoice/paper at 4:22 appears I couldn't help but have a look, and they charged poor Jo Blogs $2000 for a plastic bag and $320 for (redacted)GB of RAM, (and I assume) a z52 Motherboard that doesn't exist, unless its the GIGABYTE G492-Z52 GPU server? $824! And a solid state drive for the remaining $100?? And it seems the $50 tip was also taxed at 10% but the shipping/handling fee wasn't!? 🤣😅(pro tip: use your own plastic bags🙃🤣) and yes I've only noticed this now...

Much of my career has been in safety and emergency preparedness. I've seen the "let's install 234523465 cameras to monitor" thing, but that *never* comes out of security or safety... it's always some creep who wants to know cameras are watching everyone like electronic Santa. If it gets approved, it's over the objection of security and safety. Notice I didn't say HR? HR is often happy with it in my experience. In fact, it's one of the more visible proofs that HR is not on the employees' side.
Awesome job, not only they managed to create a really cringe and totally uncomfortable skit without Adam, but Britt's acting has really improved for all kinds of situations (I really hope she is acting... right?), Ellie and Alan of course keeping their well stablished characters on point, best wishes and keep up the awesome work!

I just recently rewatched the video where Rowen was talking to everyone from the different shows about funding and how he needed all the money for Bored.
Everyone around the table was talking about how people want a variety of things in the various shows, then Brit suddenly got all assertive: "and a yet to be determined slate of awesome things from my show, and ALL future shows!... I deserve to be here, it's important that I'm here!"

So, I worked at The Warehouse (an NZ retail store for those not from NZ) for 11 years and this was very reminiscent of their presentations regarding new initiatives. And it was the icing on the cake that the TechTown colours happen to be the same colours The Warehouse use for their uniform. Very well done VLDL.
Rowan went to Dagobah during this in order to meditate on Alan leaving, to discover how much their bestie friendship meant to him.

Britt is so genuine in her characters! The passioned, sometimes fanatic, sometimes thoughtful she makes me believe that such person with the fire inside exists and makes me fear of that at the same time) She seems to be a goal-oriented person, so she can share that behavior with her characters, and that looks so natural! She is so amazing actress! ^^

The only job in which I've had to deal with a safety officer was when I wrote artillery fire control software. We had to warn the user if they selected a target too close to the safety officer's location.
