Laura & Aaron, I do like the long version. I appreciate seeing the entire process. When I started the video I thought, "I'll probably just skip through the boring parts and get through this faster." But I just let it play and didn't skip a second. It's not like I'd want you to do every video like this, but from time to time, I think it's nice to kick back and watch you work. I also wanted to comment because you guys did so well both production-wise and talent-wise. My husband is in media production and I work with him on jobs quite often. Staying engaging in a 40 minute video with so few cuts is NOT EASY. I've seen a ton of 10 minute videos on youtube that are 8 1/2 minutes too long. You both did a great job making the 40 minutes worth it.

I liked the long version/real time of this. Love seeing the process... I think it helps to see the whole process sometimes, to actually see the nitty griity of trying to get the soil in the pot, the mess, etc :D Because when I'm at home making a mess, or having issues with an awkward plant, etc. and then you see these videos where it's all perfect, I wonder if I'm doing something wrong, right? Anyway, your plants and look and quality of your videos always look beautiful and very professional (even in the "mess"), great job to everyone involved, thanks! ;)

Thank you, thank you, thank you this is exactly what I needed something for the beginner. I have just started changing over from regular plants to succulents after loosing over half of my plants to a move. Nothing worse then having to move in the middle of the winter. I will definitely be catching up with your past videos as well. Love your entire presentation, very easy to follow and wow you make me feel that I can do this. No more being so afraid when I repot.

Love the transformation of the plants, Laura's lil quirks ("cleaning the top of a dusty piano....the besssst", "cras-ooh-la, crass-yule-ah, whatever"), the crunching of old foliage. lol, it's the little things in life!:) the best!:)

Loved the long version! You made my Sunday morning! I just did this last weekend with 35 Succulents I had on top of two pumpkins. I know I should have waited a week lol, but I got bored with the pumpkins and wanted to get them in keeping pots until the next project. I learn so much from you and it's great to know someone else is as plant crazy as me !!! By the way - applause to Aaron, the silent part of the dynamic duo. I appreciate all of his great

Your videos have given me so much information and confidence in growing and having fun with my succulents. Thank you!!! I have learned to have fun combining different varieties to make a beautiful arrangement without fear of doing it wrong. I have learned that it's okay to prune back unruly plants and how to do it, and I have learned to how to start new plants from cuttings. I have always loved succulents, but there was always a little bit of a mystery for me about how to grow them. I am excited to take what I have learned from you and apply it to my succulent babies. One more thing... I love the way you combine and pack in lots of varieties in the same pot for beautiful arrangements....so pretty!!!

Your video is very informative and full of substance. Precise and to the point the things you discussed were so valuable. I don’t know how your video just happened to show up while watching other videos. I’m so happy to discover YOU especially this process of repotting. It’s perfect timing because many of my succulents are needing to be repotted and beheaded (a scary term for me) Lol. Now, I feel confident ‘beheading’ the overgrown and leggy succulents. You did a fabulous job as well as your hubby as the behind the scene talent. Thank you.

Oh I LOVED this!! I have made soooooo many succulent bowls/pots etc. that are totally overgrown now, I do my best to break em up, but some typically do get broken, I just keep em until they form new roots though and then look for someplace else to plant them! No easy task at this point! Winter find me putting many of my potted succulents in the garage or upstairs near the window, sometimes if frost is predicted I just grab as many as I can, throw a plastic tarp over my antique dining room table, and thats where they end up! Hey, whatever it takes! Thanks for the video!

Thanks for the video Laura! Please do more long videos, as I find it extremely helpful seeing the process the start to finish. Along with your tips and tricks, it is helpful just to see you handle the plants and banter on about facts that come to your mind as you go (as these are questions that pass across my own mind when I repotted my echeveria and haworthia last week). Will you be doing a seedling video later in the winter with your new grow lights? I recently purchased a couple to have a site set up for Feb/ March time. I am in a zone 5b (Ontario, Canada)so I find it easy to relate you! Once again, thank you for all your help and I look forward to seeing your next video!

I loved the video!! So helpful to see how you didn't baby the plants. I'm always afraid of killing them in the process of planting / replanting. The trim cuts were super helpful. I hate to throw any negative but I was totally excited to watch how much water you put in each container since water seems to be my biggest downfall. Maybe next time we can see that too? ;-)

Thank you. I'm wary of long videos because I've found so many that are long, based solely on being long. There's no better way to turn someone off than to make a 40 minute video with 5 minutes of information. Your videos, however, are filled with substance. And, although I don't always have time for a longer video, when I do have time, I'll know your's will be worth the watch. : )

I actually love the longer detailed videos. I think it's very good for viewers to see what to do and how to do it!!! :) thanks for the video! Hope to see Dexter soon!

Point on. Being new to the joys of succulents, I find the longer episodes welcomed, informative and much needed. They are saving me a ton of money as I was discarding sickly plants which might have been saved and in learning how to propagate. Thank you 💗. The most practical and enjoyable infomercial ever.

Excellent excellent video! I have to admit I didn’t know about making the cuttings callus before repotting. And I love that you showed how to trim and save succulents, I was throwing them away! My succulents will love you! Thank you so much. From a beginner succulent grower!

I just received a collection of Sempervivums from around the world and your video was awesome! Watching you do clean-up and re-pot succulents was very helpful 👍.

Laura, I struggle so much with succulents. I love them but I just haven’t gotten savvy with them yet. I am watching all your old playlists and all these succulent videos are inspiring me to try again. We will see how it goes!
