This is your best reaction video so far!!! I love it. Thank you for demonstrating the difference between Gonstead and other adjustments. I have been going to a Gonstead practitioner for almost six months, and he has done wonders for my back (compressed L5, plus I have an extra L and spurs from my upper thoracic to my upper lumbar). My sessions look similar to Rahim’s, but mine are also a bit different. I do not gown. My chiro said it’s because I always dress (stretchy top) appropriately. My typical session is the nerve scope, consultation on x-rays, cervical adjustment, and lumbar adjustment (or sacroiliac as needed). He does nothing with extremeties. Rahim always does shoulders, fingers, frequently ankles, etc. My chiro is strictly a back and neck man-at least with me. My chiro put me on the knee-chest table a few times, and yes, it is an intense adjustment. He no longer uses it on me because he thinks my back doesn’t like it-whatever that means. He is always concerned about what he calls “bullying” me. I think it’s because I’m 70 years old. My chiro gave me a one-hour session initially. Before touching me, he did the full spine x-ray that he uses at every adjustment. Successive sessions have been the typical five or so minutes-not the half-hour to 45 minute sessions you see with Rahim. My chiro does not charge at Rahim’s rates either. He charges probably one-tenth Rahim’s rates. That said, I assure you my chiro has worked wonders with my back and has given me my life back. He has been practicing many years and is very dedicated to his patients - just like Rahim. Even though Rahim receives patients from all over the world for treatment, for most people he is out of reach; however, help is available. You can look for Gonstead practitioners via your favorite internet search engine and also by going to the Gonstead Society’s website. For me, Gonstead practitioners are my exclusive choice. Dr. Rahim has nearly 2M subs. I'm sure his office is super busy. When you're at that level you can pretty much charge whatever you want for your time. I won't go into super detailed explanation here because I think it would 1) take forever, and 2) be better suited for a video....but I basically just wasn't around other Gonstead docs once I got out of school. I had no one to further my expertise in that technique so I gradually transitioned to what other docs were doing that I was working with, and that was Diversified.

I do agree though it is not a perfect science and can vary person to person, but it's something I keep in the back of my mind as I am slowing working.
Great video. You aren't boring. Learned so much and I am on the look for a chiropractor that does gonstead. I like the lumbar adjustment better. It's way more gentle and the neck adjustments also are.

Dr. Robert's. Thank you. I have had so many patients ask me me about the "chiropractic" on the internet. I have seen a few of Dr. Raheem, and Dr. Ian? In Aus? And I have seen yours several times. Most times I can't watch, just due to the framed picture of the video. So much cringe. (Obviously, not from you). I am a gonstead dr in tx. As are my brother and sister. Our father was/is a world famous gonstead instructor from Palmer, (he leaned at the hand of Clarence), when the school was the greatest. I thank you for your authentic respect for the gonstead technique. We are in a smaller population but see 750- 1500 new patients a yr. With no practice management or advertising. Just referrals. That we never ask for. I would have a conversation with you, if you wanted to. Thank you for doing what you're doing.
As far as the nervoscope, yeah it's a very poor instrument. And for sure can't show a reading before an adjustment... that "clears" after. That's totally unreal... like adjusting everyone's ankles? We have a better instrument. Proprietary, but it came from Gonstead,s clinic. And, we can adjust ankles, or any other extremety IF needed.
"Exposed" eh? Sounds like you were digging up dirt on the guy, but instead all I heard was praise. That warms my heart. Dr. Rahim seems like a genuine guy and one of the best I've come across in my search.
Dr. Ian was dragged through the MUD by the Australian News Media and Government. Rather than look at facts, these women on the media trashed him. “No good deed goes unpunished” he was always my favorite to watch! Most genuine DR I’ve ever seen.

@@Eggroll_kinggg I used to watch him for a year or two back in ~2018, I wrote off his attitude for a while but it only got worse as he was validated through leading his customers over and over
That definitely wasn’t boring, I found it really interesting. I’ve only ever been to one chiropractor my whole life, so I’m just used to how he does things. I’ve never heard anyone explain in depth differences in technique or what they’re going for. Super interesting. Some of these chiropractic channels are laughable and bizarre, but some look very interesting.
I have very high doubts that that kind of a trick would correct anyone's deviated nasal septum. In the beginning he demonstrated that the nose was stuffier on one side and after the procedure he demonstrated with a Cottle maneuver that nasal breathing was better. The Cottle maneuver (spreading the nostrils larger) will improve almost anyone's nasal breathing. People - if you have nose problems, please go and see an ent doctor and not a chiropractor!
I knew Dr Rahim was going to be a positive reaction he is great. React to Dr Beau Hightower he is also one of my favorites I've seen him mostly adjusting athletes like wrestlers but he is also great.
To be honest, that was a careless decision by Ian to do that and upload it to the net knowing that there would be a big backlash to it. I blame him for that, he should have known better. When I saw it quite a few years ago, I myself didn't agree with it because I personally don't think that a child that young needs that type of treatment. Due to the under development of the baby's body, you are taking a big risk at something going wrong regardless if you are a pro or consider yourself a pro or not. I had liked his channel up until that video
I didn’t know about Dr Ian that’s the first chiropractor I watched but fell off for a while but I remember him cracking the babies but the parents agreed and were there but I digress
Some surgeon docs are very conservative and do not like competition. I see it like this, there are several levels of help for misaligned bones, first you see if physiotherapy excersise techniques help (the bouncy ball is one of them). If you are too stuck then Chiro is used to force putting bones to their place and only if that cannot help anymore like if the adjustments don't hold due to being stuck too long or other reasons, an operation might help but often break more than it fixes. People often don't take in mind that operating always leave damage to the body and the surgeon has to consider the healing/damage ratio and work from there.
Could you watch some of Ciprianos videos with commentary? I used to like his videos, but he does the same adjustments on every patient, in the exact same order everytime, no matter what their problem areas they have. He uses so much force on neck adjustments and the way he uses the y-strap seems extreme too. Patients talk in the beginning, but other then that, its minimal communication. I never feel like the patients are his #1 priority anymore. Am I being too harsh with my opinion on his practice?
Hey doc who's doing your post work? Or your r&d? What about in office gimble work for your own patients? Got some ideas for you. And I'm local. Keep it up brother.
Every one of those "adjustments " could be done fully clothed. Very weird. -ohh wait, he needs to use the wacko meter to check the temp of the skin. If the needle doesn't move, just push harder, so friction makes a little heat.
You ahould react to Drs. Mondragon/McLaughlin/McLaughlin (all siblings all chiros on youtube) adjusting each other. They just wail on each other and torture each other and it's hilarious
Doc, I'd love to hear an explanation and honest opinion of KST! The most popular videos I see are from Van Every Chiropractic. Is there ANY scince to the occiputal drop checking? Dr. Robert's.
I loved watching Dr Ian's videos, they are what started me liking chiro video for relaxation. I now watch some of Dr Rahim's videos and i have never heard such in-depth info from an outside party about Gonstead and how cool it is
awesome...glad you enjoyed!
Damn Andy Douglas ....worked with you many times for Bert Prentice all around TN. Congratulations 🎉 on the new career and I enjoy the content!! Glad you are doing awesome!
I appreciate that!
I loved watching Dr. Ian. Patients flew in from all over to be adjusted.
He seems to extremely care and I love his videos
If you're not using the nerve scope, how are you determining where to adjust?
X-rays? I know some don't do but others do and are able to tell where to adjust like tubio
x-rays, palpation, physical examination
Hi, got back pains and stiffness apparently due to bone spurs. Does this procedure safe?
you would need to have a local doc perform a thorough examination prior to making that decision
Hey, I would Love to see you review Mondragon Chiropractic. She really goes to great lengths in adjusting her patients. Her techniques aren’t all the usual ones you normally see.
go watch it!
Very interesting! I enjoyed the explanations that came with the videos!
Glad to hear it!
Can you make a video with Dr.Joseph Cipriano ?
soon
@@nashvilleneckbackthank you
Can I ask why you didn’t continue with Gonstead? Did you find something out negative about it or is it just a preference thing?
I'll make a video regarding that topic soon!
@@nashvilleneckback awesome!!
Was the instrument calibrated correctly? That could have been what caused the misreading in the scope.
Dude what was your wrestling name?? Cuz I swear I saw you in TNA.
Andy Douglas
The Naturals w/Chase Stevens
@nashvilleneckback ty very much dude. Love the channel!!!!
i go to gonstead chiro. after xrays he found my pelvis level. he has yet to measure my leg length. i find that odd as all others i used in 40 years plus did the leg length test. your thoughts Dr Roberts.
Very educational! How would you classify your technique?
Hoping you could react to Dr. Ryan Suh. He’s another Gonstead chiropractor. His channel, Specific chiropractic, is small but I believe he is one of the best and underrated.
Bout time someone gives Specific Chiropractic a shout out
Can’t wait for your review of Dr. Thayer. I think you and the viewers will like it
His pompous attitude drove me nuts, not to mention telling people to skip the COVID vaccine and how we need to just be pruned
@@PineapplePizzaBiS he will copy paste that he has thousands of videos proving hes technique is the best
@@Eggroll_kinggg I used to watch him for a year or two back in ~2018, I wrote off his attitude for a while but it only got worse as he was validated through leading his customers over and over
@PineapplePizzaBiS yeah...so who doesn't want some myocarditis in their life 😂
@@nashvilleneckback That's exactly what contributed to my uncle's passing when he contracted COVID 😞
My bones in my knuckles “crack” when I bend them. Isn’t this the same as when a chiropractor “cracks” various bones?
It's purely the release of built up gas in-between joints
@@laurasincitycomicsis that why we have butt cracks?😁
Like @laurasincitycomics says, but be careful, if the bend is sideways you will damage your joint.
Gotta check out Dr. Tubio!
Dr Suh appears to be another exceptional chiro.
Review Dr Ace in So Cal PLEASE
Dr Ian is from Australia. Bloody legend!
Dr Ian is Australian, and like you I was amazed by his results and bedside manner. He looks like someone who would be excellent at teaching.
Dr. Rahim is really good and doesn't just do adjustments for no reason. He has helped alot of patients.
I knew Dr Rahim was going to be a positive reaction he is great. React to Dr Beau Hightower he is also one of my favorites I've seen him mostly adjusting athletes like wrestlers but he is also great.
He's already reacted to Dr Beau Hightower 😁
Dr Ian was the Oz Doctor, no Gonstead practioners here in NZ as far as I know unfortunately :( Ridiculous the way he was treated.
But nothing is “adjusted”, nothing “moves”. It’s literally just a release of “gasses” within the joints.
And you know this.
The adjustment moves the joint, allowing the "gasses" to release.
And you know this.
Why not react to some of Dr Ian's stuff that still is on RUclips? That would be interesting.
I haven't even looked him up...I probably should.
@@nashvilleneckback You definitely should, he achieved some very impressive results on that Iraqi kid and that guy who had 2 bulges on his back.
Id love the see reaction video to Chripraxis Gottigen
Great video.
Rahim does like to present his teen female scoliosis patients. Check out his channel. As if chiropractors can do anything to “fix” scoliosis.
I actually made an appt with Dr Rahim and canceled it before I went because he’s insanely expensive and won’t take insurance.
insurance has become so terrible that many chiropractors are switching to an all cash model
Dr Ian was his name. Chiro core was the name of the channel. He did some good stuff. Example the mid that was hunched over from a tree stump.
Miss dr Ian nr1! Where is he now?
Your Reaction Is Good
Please make a video on controversy surrounding subluxation and also upon joint cavitation
I'm not aware of any controversy around subluxation???
I didn’t know about Dr Ian that’s the first chiropractor I watched but fell off for a while but I remember him cracking the babies but the parents agreed and were there but I digress
Dr Rahim and Dr Ian both are great ❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Amazing explanation. Really educational. I would love to know why Doctors see chiropractors like if what they do isnt helpful?
Am I being too harsh with my opinion on his practice?
on the list...stay tuned
Hey doc who's doing your post work? Or your r&d? What about in office gimble work for your own patients? Got some ideas for you. And I'm local. Keep it up brother.
Video production forgot to mention that I work in video production as a freelance.
Can I put in DR Rahim for Saint Hood
"EXPOSES the Truth About Dr. Rahim" Here I was expecting tea. No drama, just clickbait
Great video, however you skipped the end of the video, that is also adjustments.
He is a great doctor .
What I like with gonstead is that they don't exploit their patients, unlike others that baits you with boobies & thigh pants.
Hes done mondragon .
@@theProdigy02 I know but not the siblings
What they did to Dr. Ian was so unfair and undeserved. That guy is a patients dream.
Doc, I'd love to hear an explanation and honest opinion of KST! The most popular videos I see are from Van Every Chiropractic. Is there ANY scince to the occiputal drop checking? I've seen some KST practioners almost float their hands over a patient, and barely make any contacy at all. I'd really love to hear your opinion of this. ruclips.net/video/ChgsySDgMWs/видео.html
Never heard of it. I just went and took a quick look. Dear God! I will definitely be making a reaction video on this very soon. Thank you for sending this to me.
@@nashvilleneckback My pleasure. If you have time, take a look at other vids on that channel. Another doc practices the same technique, but it looks wildly differnet!
stay tunes...I just finished editing the video, it should be uploaded within the next couple of weeks.
Best part of dr Rahim's videos are the x-ray 32:09 analysis, which usually occur in the first visit
Very interesting.
I love Dr.Ian!! I’ve seen the adjustment of the infant and it was not actually his because he mentions “The parents brought in because the infant was having colic symptoms and was irritable not sleeping” . It is still ridiculous that he was spoken so badly about due to this video, even though greatly made a difference in the infants symptoms to be reliable and made the parents at ease as well and they were happy with the treatment!!
I watched every minute
