I’m in eastern Alabama and these dang leaf footed bugs are destroying my tomatoes. Between the lack of rain and these dang bugs I don’t even know if I’ll have anything to can this year! Anyone have any non-pesticide ideas on how to kill them?

Where in the world did those bugs come from!!! They bite everything. I don’t think my parents had to deal with them.
@@MeMe-sy4sb I have no clue. But it’s so frustrating. I’ve tried hand picking them and putting them soapy water. But I can’t keep up. Im sorry you’re dealing with them too!!
Thanks so much! 😁 I have no clue about the leaf footed bugs. We had them last year on our tomatoes in our pasture garden. It was so bad that by the time I found them on the plants, most were destroyed overnight. I hope someone can give you some tips! Thankfully, we haven’t had any this year. Glad to see a neighbor on here… thanks for watching!
@@harmonhomestead7434 maybe I’ll try moving my tomatoes next year. Although I’ve rotated beds/plots from year to year, maybe it’s not enough from one side of the yard to the other. I’ll try the back of our property next year! Thanks for the idea!

Diatomaceous earth. Buy a huge bag from a farm store and sprinkle everywhere. If it rains sprinkle more.

So pretty in the jars! I can't remember the last time I was in a wally world! I take 2 vitamin supplements that I can't find anywhere but wal mart,hubby picks them up for me when he goes by there. We can live without wally world!
We don’t go to any other grocery store really so that’s been pretty good! We go to DG occasionally to fill in the gaps. Thank you! 😊
Be careful. Many vitamins and supplements from Walmart don’t contain what they’re supposed to. I’d check into it.
