  • The three men convicted of murdering Ahmaud Arbery were be sentenced in Glynn County Friday. A jury found the three white men accused of killing Ahmaud Arbery, a 25-year-old Black man, guilty on most of the 29 charges they faced the day before Thanksgiving.
    More trial coverage, here: www.11alive.co...
Arbery was shot and killed on Feb. 23, 2020. Cellphone video leaked to the public shows two armed white men in a truck approaching the 25-year-old Black man as he runs down the road. One of the men, later identified as Travis McMichael, and Arbery struggle over McMichael's shotgun before Arbery is shot and collapses.
Travis McMichael, his father Gregory McMichael and William "Roddy" Bryan, who recorded the video, are all charged with murder in Arbery's death.

@@Richard-ii7dk two reasons why your arguments are dead in the water:
      1) in order for there to be a CRIME of burglary, there has to be a VICTIM of burglary. Who's property did Arbery burglarized? Mr English and Officer Rash testified they were planning to have Arbery TRESPASSED. Officer Rash testified that he informed Mr English that in order to investigate Arbery for burglary, Mr English had to contact the Brunswick Criminal Investigative Division and make a FORMAL complaint of his property being burglarized. The BCID would then assign a detective to investigate the case. MR ENGLISH DECLINED TO DO SO. All he wanted was Arbery trespassed.
If you don't have a VICTIM of burglary then you don't have a CRIME of burglary.
      Not hard to understand
      2) what does the Georgia citizens arrest statue say? A FELONY committed in your presence. Even if your opinion was true, who saw Arbery committing a felony?
This thing about "reasonable suspicion" and "immediate knowledge" also useless.
      Why?
When law enforcement on the scene and in formal interviews 2 hours later asked Greg McMichael what Arbery did, he responded...
      "That's just it...I DON'T KNOW"!
How can any fair minded jury legally conclude probable suspicion or immediate knowledge out of that statement from the defendant who initiated the confrontation with Arbery?
      Again..not hard.
The Derrick Chauvin trial, the Rittenhouse trial took the jurors days to deliberate. It took the jurors less than 10 hours because they saw the evidence and they knew this was a slam dunk.

His crime was being black while running inside of a house under construction
Even though many white neighbors did the exact same thing, only he was targeted
It was racism, end of story
Racism is what costed arbery his life that day, but the killers didn't realize that they would also forfeit their own lives. The hatred they had for this man ended up destroying them too. Karma! Imagine being a father, and leading your son to ruin because you think you are superior to another man because of his background. They didn't chase the white people that went in that house, nor did they chase the white male/female couple that got caught stealing. But oh no, a black man decided to run away from them, we can't let that nīggēr get away with this let's get the strap and run him down, let's aim our guns at him, and then make Pikachu faces when a man we *chased* and *aimed firearms at* decided to *defend* himself from people *he didn't know* who were *trying to detain* him for a *crime*
Maybe now the good ol' boys will think twice before trying to pull this kind of stunt today. It's not 1965 anymore, this behavior won't be tolerated anymore. Stupid fools put a man in his grave, and in doing so, dug their own

    • @bjvu9460
      @bjvu9460 2 года назад +2

well whatever reason he did it is why justice is being served and they should thank him for either being stupid to record it and admit to having a record of it or really trying to record it to capture what was happening... now, the lawyer for roddy claimed he was in fear for his life when they came and got him with a gun and went along with them because he didnt want to oppose a guy with a weapon and was just doing as told, maybe he would have gotten off but people dont realize that the law can charge them under culpability and that description is extremely vague as to what makes him or you culpable...

@@bjvu9460 if he was just trying to record it for justice for the family he would have stepped in and told them to leave arbery alone and there would be no need for justice for the family. He wouldn't have been trying to block arbery from escaping those inbreds who were chasing him if he was really concerned about Arbery's safety. He knew exactly what he was doing which is why I'm glad his sorry azz about to sit and rot in prison right along with them.
