Hey in Bangkok as of today in my 14 day quarantine asq. The process was pretty amazing. So organized , fast but thorough. Impressed. My pregnant wife went to the thai government quarentine. I will have lots of time to watch your videos over next 14 days.
We are missing Thailand so much. We are stuck in cold Chicago. Hopefully we can get back to Bangkok soon. Have fun, great video. Nice that you travel with your wife, sweet!
From 7.30 - 8.40 It's very good atmosphere so nice music every one relax. Special about your background text " I Iove Bangkok The people here are so cool " I am so proud of my country. Thank you Chris
It's been 1yr, 2mths, and an odd number of day, every time I watch these videos I'm transported back, no country or city has ever effected me in a positive way than Bangkok, the people, the food and the culture, I truly miss it.
Really impressive to see the Thai government invest in projects like this to beautify Bangkok. Bangkok is beautiful but nice to have cool places like this
Check out the website of the Urban Design and Development Center (UddC) to see some extraordinary projects they've done in Bangkok and are planning to do in the years ahead. Very futuristic but fesible.
Good to see local government investing in projects that help the local community. I just wish we could have the same in the UK as our high streets are pretty souless.
this is the best way for thai officials to legally divert taxpayers funds into their own pocket! people of Bkk dont need this type of superficiall crap projects, they need proper social welfare programes and assistance to help them live through tough economic uncertainties! all these types of superficial projects were all rewarded/ contracted out to their frrieds / family with substancial amount of kick backs, thats why these types of superficial/ concrete projects are now mushrooming everywhrre in the city!

Chris love what you do. Thailand one of my stops when I can get out of Florida. Brother I'm retired too from the Army and I can wait to travel across Asia.
Hello retired sir, it's such a pleasure to watch this video with authentic interest in the people and place you are visiting. So many of the Thai travel videos I see on YT are about sleazy night life and the worlds oldest profession. This is truly refreshing!
I love this new area you are showing.....thanks for doing the video. This will be the first place i would like to see when i get there. A taste of Thailand. Looks like it has a bit of everything.
Another great video. That new walking street is awesome. It's more family oriented & seems a lot more laid back & relaxed. It's nice seeing everyone in the market happy. Thanks for sharing.
Chris i was there when they started building this ave and reworking the canal its really is beautiful and reminds me of San Antonio river walk... So nice and clean but even better has great Thai Food... L.A Rob
I don't make a lot of money and I'm a single 58 year old and would love to make a trip to Thailand in 2021 and hoping to possibly retire there in a few short years or sooner if I can find a RUclips channel niche that will bring in additional $$. Just fell in love with the channel and the Pay It Forward concept and would like to get to the point where I could do the same.
Looks like a fantastic place that I shall definitely check out next time I am in Bangkok, keep up the good work and the praise you got from the Journalist lady is well deserved what you do with the pay it forward stuff is awesome, I love it!!
If you walk a little further, at the end of the canal you will find the Chao Phraya River. There is a Bangkok viewpoint on Phra Pokklao Bridge. It's sky park and on the river. I think you can't miss it, it's awesome.

As always Chris, a great video. So many vlogers concentrate on the seedy side of Bangkok, its great to find someone showing that there is so much more to the city. 👍👌💙
Ong- Big Water Jar/ Ang- Water Basin = This area was the area of sellers and producers of those pottery and utensil earthwares around 2.5 centuries ago. This canal was also important since it was one of the main transportation channels across Bangkok and also the shortcut from the opposite side of Bangkok by the U-Shape of Chaopraya River from north to south. The purpose of this canal was also used as the outer moat of the inner Bangkok and its strategic locations at the beginning of Bangkok as the capital city of Siam since 1783, built by King Rama I. Saphan Han was the swing bridge over this canal from the early year of Bangkok as well. Sam Yot was Three Spired City Gate that was part of Bangkok's city wall over that street. You were in one of the oldest parts of Bangkok. It doesn't look that old since this part is inhabited by people continuously from its start.
Bangkok was considered as Venice of the east, there are many cancels built for transportation in the past but later left filled with black water. I am glad that the governor bringing them back to live again. It feels like traveling back in time to the old Bangkok.
