Jay Zachary he got beat by a Lightweight Duran, then since he knew he couldn’t beat him in the right circumstances he forced the governing body’s to make him defend his titles in a couple weeks while he was 200 pounds making him weak on fight day and never looked that bad again, beat Hearns when he was a kid and brought to the lions to early, then the Hagler fight where he manipulated the governing bodies again and Hagler too into making a fight while he already was thinking of retirement, only good win he has is a Prime Benitez who I give him all credit and respect for

No excuses Hagler lost to a old rusty Sugar ray leonard who had 4 years off a bad eye and he was on cocaine !! Now who's delusional I'm speaking facts they fought and hagler lost. The same outcome if they were both younger an out boxed Marvin hagler .
Jay Zachary yeah yeah, now who’s making excuses, that same Leonard was training way before he asked for the Marvin fight, and after the fight went on to win and defend the light heavyweight titles, dude, watch the 4 kings documentary, he himself says he would not beat Hagler in the right circumstances, you hear it from the man himself LOL talk about fanboying, the dude even said he wanted to give up in the later rounds, don’t get me wrong, Leonard is a legend, but he never fought nobody in their prime
Jay Zachary he got beat by a Lightweight Duran, then since he knew he couldn’t beat him in the right circumstances he forced the governing body’s to make him defend his titles in a couple weeks while he was 200 pounds making him weak on fight day and never looked that bad again, beat Hearns when he was a kid and brought to the lions to early, then the Hagler fight where he manipulated the governing bodies again and Hagler too into making a fight while he already was thinking of retirement, only good win he has is a Prime Benitez who I give him all credit and respect for
what a difference on jabs, Obel with a mosquito jab, Hagler's was a hornet
Obelmejias showed good technique, great endurance and tremendous determination, but he was just not ready yet for this, it was out of his actual level. Hagler was Terminator as usual, but found the fight lasting longer than he would have advance. Intense fight.
Marvelous is beautiful. That is boxing !
Gees, that guy took a beating but he never quit
Hagler run from no one, he's fighting all the division can offer not dodging even a single bullet, so unlike.....👏✌️
Lol...That lady didn't look like Bertha Hagler 🤔
Hagler is the perfect boxer
Somebody's in love with Marvin
Yeah !!! Fully was good
Marvin's body work is what does it...he chips away till they have nothin.
The music Bro...wtf ???
Fulgencio could take a punch holy shit!!
예수님
Obel took a beating but landed more on haggler than I;ve seen in marvin's other defenses, except arguably mugabi and maybe Leonard
Duran was able to counter him very effectively, I had Hagler winning by one point
@@foxybingo1112 I was at that fight and when the announcer got the judges card , and scored the fight close , me , my uncle and most of the fans there were in shock ... that fight was no where near close , Hagler won by a landslide , Duran probably won three rounds no more , the Judges almost did another injustice to Hagler yet again like with Watts and Antuofermo and let's not forget the disgrace spectacle with Leonard
Hamsho , Roldan did much better than that big scrub Obel , he did nothing against Hagler
@@henryzalez lol 😆 good one 👍
Good referee and incredible Marvin accurate punching machine.
fulgenio's corner didn't give two shits about his life.
GGG COULD NEVER BEAT HAGLER.
GGG might not have beaten Obel. Not that night Obel would give GGG a hard fight any day of the week. Hagler would give GGG a Tony Sibson style beating.
Hagler Would DESTROY GGG
As good as the Hagler-Mugabi fight.
CARAJO ; ESA FIÉ UNA PELEA.MONTADA PARA RELLENAR CUMPLIDOS , GANAR DINERO U ALLANTAR QUE EL CONTRARIO DE LA MARAVILLA ES UN " ANIMAL" . PERO , PERO , CON IN SOLO IZQUIERDAZO DE HAGLERR TEMBLÓ"*
ESE FULGENCIO OBELMEJIAS COMO NOS DEFRAUDO, TENIA UN RECORD IMPRESIONANTE, Y A LA HORA DE LA CHIQUITA, LE DIERON HASTA CON EL TOBO Y COLETO, SE HABIA ENFRENTADO A PURO PAQUETES
Damn this is prime Hagler right here. Quick, explosive, powerful and much better footwork than his last 3-4 fights. Leonard would have never dared step into the ring with this Hagler.
Leonard was a Welterweight is why.
37:54
Leonard wasn't great at middle, that's for sure. His frame was big enough-taller than Hag and nearly equal reach, but Hag beats him mercilessly, and he knew it and admitted it in this fight and other Hag fights he commentated on
isolation take me here to see hagler against a good venezuelan boxer
Tremenda pelea
