I agree with most of Rogan’s opinions but this is simply misleading. I know most of you have an open mind and are at least willing to challenge your own ideas so please, bear with me.
Of course the attack on Andy is wrong. I’m not excusing it, but it does not paint a clear picture of left-right dynamics. Just like the gun debate, in which Rogan is super correct, this act does not represent the left accurately. Mass shooters do not represent most gun owners. With this established one has to think. Has Antifa ever murdered someone? Is it really as bad neo nazi groups in Charlottesville running over Heather Heyer and killing her? Is it really as bad as neo nazis shooting up a synagogue in Pittsburgh and a black Church in Charlotte? All this attention and energy given to this particular assault paint a distorted picture where there appears to be symmetrical equivalency in radicalization in the left and the right. Which is simply not true. This just builds a false narrative so the extreme right wing can say: “AHA! Antifa is just as bad as neo-nazis”. I could be wrong on this but the main point I’m trying to make is that Antifa is not nearly as bad as neo nazis.
This being said, Andy’s attackers MUST be punished and the government should not stand idly.
