What's inside my PCT resupply box? | Food and more in my bounce box

- Find out what's inside my PCT thru hiker resupply bounce box! I had two boxes of food and supplies continuously bouncing ahead while thru-hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail this year in 2020. One of them I opened and used in Idylwild and the other I bounced until I needed it. I got off the trail at the i10 intersection at around mile 210 and this box had already arrived a week further north in Big Bear. My planning and food list strategy completely changed due to COVID-19 so this worked well.
The USPS kindly sent it back to me all the way from California so I thought I'd show you what's inside.
BTW, I MADE THIS INCREDIBLE BIT OF GEAR

@@thetrailhunter4469 Always intrigued by these long hikes that people do. I'm doing a 37 mile one next month over a few days but nothing near PCT distance!
Nice one Russ, but man I must be middle-aged now, as all my grub is really health conscious these days! I can't get away with any old bait washed down with beer (those were the days). The days of burning the candle at both ends AND covering long distances have required adaptation... LOTS of water, LOTS of trail mix (no M&M's/sugary/salty junk), wholewheat fajitas, fresh fruit at EVERY opportunity, local organic chorizo with no artificial ingredients (pricier, but better!), local organic cheese (my guilty pleasure but great source of energy - requires discipline). That switch means that now I feel stronger and more energised on the trail than ever, even compared to when I was in my 'indestructable' 20's. And going T-Total means I get Quality sleep, so I'm usually up by 5.30am raring to go! You'll be there too one day Russ you young whipper snapper you! 😀💪🍌🍎🍏🍉🍇🍐💧🌰🌛
Love the Idaho mash....sucks we can't get it here....
Gotta love the pop tarts. Merica has such a better selection of flavours than we do. Mash is the only way 🤙
I love the Sesame Street wipes!
Carrot cake Clif are the best. Good choice.
If you can find an asian food store you can buy the good ramen bricks like Indo Mie (Indonesian), Wai Wai (Thailand), MAMA (Thailand), Sapporo Ichiban (Japan), Lucky Me! (Philippines). The Pad Thai, and curry flavors are more tasty than the cheap ramen.
Reeses, Snickers, Pop tarts.. Idahoan mashed taters.. cliff bars and hot coco.. You stole the breakfast and snack section of my food bag! LoL Is there any meal you would pack the fresh ingredients in for to make on the first night back on the trail?
Haha cheers! I’d take a few pears and apples, but I’d usually go for a tonne of dried fruits instead and a massive jar of trail mix lasted me over 2 weeks.
