I used to watch your chanel years ago. I see that you hava change a lot, I guest me too lol. I'm so glad that i find you again. Thanks for all your videos.
Nearly fifteen years ago, I had a Chevy Tahoe. Recently, I decided to trade my car, and go back to an SUV. I don't have a family to drive around, so along with good space, I also wanted decent fuel economy. I think I found it in my new 2023 Explorer XLT. Some might say that I was crazy to trade a 2021 Dodge Charger R/T because it may become a collectors item since Dodge will discontinue the Charger in 2023. No, the speed and horsepower isn't there with the XLT, but honestly, I never really drove the Charger to it's full capability. I had outgrown the poor fuel economy and high insurance rates. When I called my agent from the Ford dealership and gave her the vin number for the Explorer and she plugged in the numbers, my insurance dropped over $200.00. It was time for a cool change.
My wife was showing different new vehicles she is looking at.. she saw a 2023 she liked .. I sent her your link … thanks.. great review.. it’s a xlt sport.. don’t understand that but it’s 4cyl turbo 2.3 liter.. was that similar in this video?
I have an Explorer 2016 and love the design so much that its been hard to upgrade, I do not like the exterior design of this one, I agree with everything else, its a very comfortable ride, reliable, my kids love it.
@@averageguytested it has adaptive cruise control but I don’t think its the same as Blue cruise, design wise of the 2016 I like that its more boxy, squared so much like a Ranger Rover on budget haha, in general I like the boxy looks thinking about the new Toyota Grand Highlander and waiting for your review of that one :)
I assume this one had the turbo 4? Police depts are using these as cop cars with their turbo V6 and are having trouble keeping up with the criminal element and their V8's. Was the back seat siesta worthy? You know you're old when gas was so cheap that I had no hesitation buying a gas thirsty V8 on minimum wage back then. Good to see you back doing what you do best and you have not missed a beat, amigo.
Cookie Cutter? No way!! The Explorer is, by far , better looking than any of its competitors. The Explorer has a stance of its own! Very Good Looking SUV…For Sure!
@@averageguytested 👍 yeah, I had that same problem where it seemed like it was fishing for gears with that vehicle as well as the F150. I was told that it’s normal and it’s for a better fuel economy.
You're vehicle reviews are always the best. Hope to see more.
Thanks!! More to come!
I don't know how you could call this a mid-size SUV. It's nearly 200in long 78in wide and 70in tall. That seems like a BIG full size to me.
I agree with you 💯 but yet it’s listed as a mid-size. Crazy.

What’s up, brah!! I’m glad to have you aboard! I’m getting back into autos so look for more reviews to come. Thanks for watching!

Yes! I LOVE the RAV4! Thanks for watching and good luck finding the new vehicle 👋🏽
Thanks for the video Tony!
You bet!
My last trip I got 26.4 mpg. Just over 1000 miles one way.
Good stuff. Smooth ride.

It’s certainly a more aggressive design. Thanks for watching 👍🏽 does yours have BlueCruise?

The Grand Highlander looks crazy, cool 😎
Great review brah! 👌🏾
Thanks, brah!!

How is Pedro?
Coach!! Pedro is doing well. I’ll tell him you said 👋🏽
Outstanding review Tony!
Thanks, brother!! I still have to edit the BMW review
@@averageguytested Can’t wait to see, that one! This review really is great 🙌🏻

What’s up, Bro! I mentioned you in the video. The 2nd row is siesta worthy, but the 3rd row - not so much.
thanks!
Thanks for watching 👋🏽
Thank you for the review.. 😎😎
Thanks for watching, Jason! 👋🏽
One of my cars is a Explorer Platinum with the 3L V6. Drives like a charm. Check it out in my channel.
I will. What year?
@@averageguytested 2020 I bought it right when the last generation started. Great family vehicle for us.
The cookie cutter design change makes me cry, just like the Ford Escape.😫😭
Sorry for the delayed response. You don’t like the looks of the Explorer?
Cookie Cutter?
No way!!
The Explorer is, by far , better looking than any of its competitors.

Very Good Looking SUV…For Sure!
I would definitely consider buying one of these if the exterior wasn't so damn ugly.
Funny.
UGLY.. ??
I hope you’re kidding!
Its perhaps the best looking SUV on the road.
Bruh!
👋🏽
There we go!!
Thanks, Vance!
I recently test drove one of those and I kinda felt like it was hunting for gears at times. Did you have any of those moments?
Can’t say that I had that experience- I enjoyed it for the week that I had it.
