@robotcactus_mk1882 thanks for watching and asking a question for further explanation. The one button is the "Traction Control" on/off. The other button is the "Hill Descent Control" indicator. Hill descent control allows the driver to set and maintain vehicle speed while descending steep slopes in various surface conditions. The system can maintain vehicle speeds on downhill slopes between 5-32 km/h (3-20 mph). Above 32 km/h (20 mph), the system remains on but the descent speed cannot be set or maintained.
@ericacordova9671 thanks for your question. It really is quite easy to turn on the heater in your Ford Explorer. I have put the answer in this short video ruclips.net/user/shortsHXZJtO_bCtk
@thomasjacques5286 thanks for watching my video and asking a question. The Explorer XLT in both 2023 and 2024 have Navigation as an available option. It is part of the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Assist+ . This becomes part of the standard equipment in the higher trim levels of ST-Line, Timberline, Limited, Platinum and ST. (I am giving the information for the Canadian market, it is possible that equipment packages are different in the States.)
I have a Ford Explorer 2023 XLT, every time I shift from Drive to Reverse or any gear, the parking brake automatically activates. For example, if I'm trying to park and need to reverse, and then shift to drive, the parking brake engages everytime. Is this normal, or is there a way to deactivate this function?
What you are describing is definitely not normal. My recommendation would be to take it into your local Ford retailer service department. Show them what is happening and I am sure they would be able to fix that for you.
Really helpful. Thank you. This car has so many gadgets so this vid is most helpful.
Glad to hear that you liked the video and that you found it to be helpful.
Thank you very helpful for our new car!

How can I get the rear cargo area lighter to stay always hot?

Am I understanding the 2023 Explorer has built-in Nav and the 2024 does not? Is that correct?
