Only time you can't trust rumors is apple and the Samsung fold series. Apple because they keep their lips shut to the next level, and Samsung because they consider adding new stuff or QOL updates to the next Gen z fold stuff but end up not doing so for the 'mighty dollar'

Yes, that's what I did, I got the s8 ultra instead. I got it for $699, but got it down to $599 because I had a $100 bestbuy gift card. The s9 ultra is going for $1100. I,m loving my s8 ultra , had it about for 8 months now.

I just got a tab e 2016 from the model tab lite from 2011 I had for school, wasn't great but I'm not going to school anymore, apart from space and speed it's just like my ipad air mini 1, supports current apps or I just side load, not bad for a kindle or 1080p streaming and music, with Android 5 it has enough features to feel like low end Samsung today, I have an otter box case on mine and apart from the back having the old middle camera design it feels just like the new models almost looks like them too so it's a nice touch having a decent case

Using Dimensity 9300+ will be a terrible idea! This will make the Tab S10 series fall far behind even the M2 iPad Air, let alone the M4 iPad Pro! They should use Snapdragon X Elite on the Tab S10 series, and Dimensity 9400 on the Tab S10 FE series.
The Dimensity chip actually outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in some metrics, but in any event I don't think not having an M4 level processor will hurt Samsung. I say this as the owner of an iPad M4 11 inch tablet. My previous iPad Mini plays media every bit as fast. The extra power is simply not needed.

It does not make sense to purchase a device for professional use that does not meet the required performance standards. Therefore, I would not recommend purchasing the Tab S 10 with a MediaTek processor.

Didn't motorola had a tablet years ago that's switch from android and windows, it didn't sell that well. It cost to much money for putting a windows and android on device , I think that's why motorola stop making it.
@@tiffanyt9329 don't know about Motorola but Lenovo recently did it as well and I doubt it did well as it isn't very well tailored yet. The concept is great but the hardware couldn't achieve it efficiently and cheaply.
However, with Windows ARM (instead of x86) I wonder if they can reuse the same chip etc for both Win and Android, and simply boot in either OS (or both and swap between them). This might be achievable with the new Qualcomm X Elite as it's designed for Win ARM. A special made chip would likely be even better. You could have the best of both worlds, it just hasn't been well done yet.
@GabrielRM I saw a tablet at Ces on youtube earlier this year that an android/ Windows tablet laptop. Where you just pop the screen off and turn into android, and once you put it back to the keyboard, it turns back to Windows. I heard it cost a lot of money to license both android and Windows on a device.
@@tiffanyt9329 that's probably the Lenovo one I mentioned. Issue is it's Windows x86 and so I think had 2 sets of hardware for each OS. Being x86 also means it's a lot less efficient and battery hungry which affects the Android side of it. The actual licensing wouldn't be that expensive compared to needing all the hardware twice, so if they can manage with a single set of chip etc it could be affordable.

Bought a brand new s8 Ultra like 8 months ago...i love it. Put a TB micro sd card in it. Great for media....comic book reading too.

I wish I could get 3 minutes of my life back. I already had low expectations from Samsung, but this is hilariously bad. We already know Samsung was going to do barely anything and all this does is confirm Samsung is asleep, or are they just that arrogant and lazy that innovation completely escaped the pich of this, the s24, fold series and pretty much everything else they have released this year, or are yet to release.
At this point people will be buying apple
@faccezitCroc ironically, Samsung is just doing what Apple started years ago and is a worrying development. Kinda says a lot when the needle is moving more in apples court than samsungs recently. Strangely enough, when these brands get knocked down a peg as the largest company, that is when interesting things start happening. So, I can absolutely confidently pray for the downfall of Samsung to maybe wake their ass up!

@faccezitCroc Unfortunately, Samsung had the chance with foldables and screwed it once the corperate stink ultimatley crept in and ruined the party. It's as fascinating as it is tragic to see a pioneer fall from grace, particularly one that started a whole tech niche and is slowly getting left in the dust by others - if it hasn't already. I guess they just can't help chase that next bump in revenue however they can instead of actually spending money taking a bigger step/ risk - organically so - doing something, like, literally anything -at this point and that sadly applies to pretty much any major OEM player at this point. I'm just so sick of what basically is realistically a 3 year cycle between generations as far as major improvements go. It just begs the question, why don't they just keep making a gen of phones every 3 years and make a phone worth your time after that.

I honestly really hope its not MediaTek. The only reason i get tablets is for a powerful coding device thats small. I currently have the base Galaxy Tab S8. If the regular Tab S10 is not as powerful as the Tab S10 Ultra, that makes no sense because not everyone want that HUGE of a tablet. Also MediaTek is not optimized at all for most games and emulators. Please Samsung use the snapdragon 8 gen 4 in all of them.

@@fevad1246 That makes no sense. The Galaxy Tab S9 is only $800 and it has the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 for Galaxy. I would expect the Galaxy Tab S10 to be either the same price or a bit more expensive to accommodate the Snapdragon 8 gen 3 or gen 4
As much as I love getting the newest and greatest when it comes to their phones. I'm not too sure that the S10 Ultra will be that much different than my Tab S9 Ultra. ... I already have ai features now ... Hopefully they will come up with a much better reason to upgrade

Noooo... Samsung is messing up. I don't mind paying top dollar for premium products. But give me premium products. If you have to charge more, so be it. But second rate processor is a no go for me.
Samsung should have the snapdragon processor on the ultra and the cheap processor on the lower models to keep high paying customers like me. I buy the newest most up to date Samsung products every year. They obviously don't want my money this year.

If Samsung continues this trend of cutting costs, it will fall far behind Apple and other Android competitors. Samsung should strategize it's products or else things will become worse.

Better to wait for better processors, why buy a tablet that will soon be left behind. Let's hope they don't get sales on the s10 tabs and learn to put out something that will not be left behind in future updates for newer tablets later released running better processors.

im really looking forward to that Samsung tab s10 (plus) but when i saw that its Dimensity 9300+ im not sure about it already... im really am not a fan of that Dimensity chipset as its even rarely used in high end tablets so you are not sure what performance it can give you

SMH - The head guys at Samsung are just not too bright. There is clearly not enough changes in the Galaxy Tab S10 to warrant a purchase from the Tab S9. They can't seem to get their own chip working and should just stop making them all together. Think of the tons of money they have wasted over the years on trying to do that chip. Now they are going with two different chips for the same product line? Just stop it Samsung.
The Fold 6 looks the same though everyone is asking for a bigger front screen. Nope. The Flip looks exactly the same. The Tab S10 looks exactly the same. So why hold an Unpacked event costing tons of money for just a refresh of their previous products?
What about the GPU? Is it upgraded? Which snapdragon for the ultra are they using?

The s8 and the s9 ultra is so thin where the heck would you even put the pen at ? I have a case and I put the pen there so it won't get lost. I have the s8 ultra.
You can either have thick tablet which can fit Spen inside or thin which doesn't.

@mariaalexandramoreno5683 The s8 , s9 ultra tab is 5.5 millimeters thick and remembers a 14.6 inch screen and the s24 8.6 millimeters thick. If the tablet is thicker, it will add more weight to it and heavier. Get a case for your s8 and s9 ultra and put your spen there. Problem solved.

I have the s8 ultra ,for the first year was ok , after couple of updates its strategically started to stutter and gets slower, why ? Just after 2 updates , that is why i switched to iphone after 10 yeaof using s line from samsung , i think ill go with ipad next year, i am so happy with my 15 pro max and i started to get why people use iphone , its reliable
