And some of the things like the anti glare screen, is easily fixable on the previous gens with an antiglare screen protector. I want to see different color options, or design patterns the faux carbon design that they just did on the z fold 6. from tvs, to tablets they are just not listening to consumer demands! For CPU, the single core is actually much more important in a mobile device especially, as you rarely run into a situation where you are utilizing all the cores to the max simultaneously, but rather a single app is pushing a single core to the max sporadically(with some processes running in the background), and single core speed contributes to the system’s snappiness. Let’s see…no. The iPad Pro is definitely not a competidor - DeX? No - desktop OS replacement? No - good gallery? No - unlocked OTG? No - shared file system? No - desktop level windows management? No And many more. If someone wants an Apple tablet, the iPad Air is the choice - though with a 60 Hz screen, it’s unbearable for me. We’re in 2024 (even in 2022 it wasn’t acceptable)
@@Mrorlgloth so you have knowledge about it? 😆 you do know, that there are professionals that are not Apple fanboys right? 🤣 if you live near me, I would bet money and we would make a contest about who has more limitations: iPadOS vs Android. If you have two or three windows simultaneously and try to copy content from windows to another (word or PowerPoint page for example) it’s a nightmare on iPadOS; not on Android. Video and photo editing: both check. Though you’ll need A LOT of space on iPadOS because it accesses media and duplicates much of the time to the video app own cache. Not on Android. Can you easily copy files to the internal storage (most tablets accept microSD cards and directly appear on the gallery. That doesn’t happen on iPadOS. I have a 400 GB one for video consumption and my personal photos. I don’t have to buy a 1 TB ultra expensive iPad or use - and pay- a cloud service. I could be here all day. It’s a nightmare to do some things on iOS 18 (iPhone 15 PM) which were easy enough on my old Samsung. One of the things I miss most is to be able to move media from the “general/camera” album to a different album (on Android a proper folder) and it moves (not tag!). That way they wouldn’t appear anymore and I could keep organizing it. Then at home I just had to move them to my NAS and the ORIGINAL files (or edited, like portrait effect and as HEIC) with the ORIGINAL name. That simple. On iOS you can’t move or have proper folders. The gallery on any iOS is a nightmare and now on iOS 18 it’s even worse… As said: if the “professionals” like the iPad, be my guest. All other professionals will pick a decent multipurpose device.
@@Mrorlgloth the musicians I know work with a MacBook; the artists I know use a professional Wacom/tablet connected to a computer. The architects and engineers I know use a proper computer to do their job and rendering. No one I know plays “SIM Musician” or “SIM architect” on an iPad Pro because they want their work done and not half done. The only thing the iPad had in the past were better games and multimedia editing apps. That’s gone now. Android works as fine, sometimes even more compatible. But hey, if in the USA/UK people “work” better with iPadOS, that’s fine to me.

And many more. If someone wants an Apple tablet, the iPad Air is the choice - though with a 60 Hz screen, it’s unbearable for me. We’re in 2024 (even in 2022 it wasn’t acceptable)
@@ricarmig stage manager hello 😂
Also the chip only hits 7k on geekbench 6, m4 can do 14k, cope harder
The gallery on any iOS is a nightmare and now on iOS 18 it’s even worse…
As said: if the “professionals” like the iPad, be my guest.
