After i deep condition i just rinse it out and style it as usual lol. It’s not a leave in treatment i just couldn’t film rinsing because the camera died
I'm a white girl but I absolutely love watching hair videos on how black women care for their curly hair. It's so fascinating to me & I love when women embrace their natural hair 😍 love this video! I would love to have curly hair!
NaturallyJaz Why? I didn't mean any malicious, I simply just said that I love curly hair & I appreciate these type of videos as I love curly hair. If anything, curly hair is probably the most desired hair type through all cultures. Making certain things only allowed for one race/culture & not others just caused divisions. Multi cultural diversity is beautiful. P.s. i tried the bantu knots, they worked amazingly 😊
you should consider adding lavender and rosemary essential oils to your conditioner as well. Not only do they stimulate blood flow to the scalp but they do just about everything that hair needs to be strong and healthy :-)
Honestly I get offended when people dislike your videos because you’re literally my go to when ever I need hair advice.😩💗 You deserve everything good.💗 God bless you.
Omg I love the Argan oils and peppermint oil! I was my hair with peppermint shampoo sometimes and it just feels like it's making my hair grow! Lol your hair is beautiful!!
Try using warm water next time! It opens the hair shaft so products with absorbs into the shaft easily!! We have the exact hair type I see and after I changed it to warm water or used a steamed wash cloth that still had water in it. TRUST ME !!!
Awesome routine wow you helped me a lot, I also have a youtube channel all about how I grew my hair 15 inches in 1 year and now I'm focusing on keeping my long hair healthy and this video helped me a lot
I will definitely be trying this because my hair is so dry. I'm happy you actually showed the products you use because alot of videos I saw only give tips but never say what they use, lol.
Next month makes a year since I've been transitioning and my hair is way curlier than I thought it would be. When you put the conditioner on your hair, that's exactly what my hair looks like. I'm praying we have similar textures. Subscribing! :)
I wish I could go back to 2012/2013 when I first went natural... I would’ve saved myself years of trying to figure out how to treat my hair. After years of see-ins, unnecessary heat damage, having to start all over again like 3 or 4 times, I Finally found my curl pattern and working with it now. Hindsight is 20/20... Thank goodness I woke up!!!
Ur hair is amazing. I went natural a year ago and I ended up flatiron my hair and getting heat damage, so now I've cut all of my hair off and it's been about 6 months since. Now I'm missing my big puff.
I LOVE YOUR CURLS . I'm trying to transition but I wasn't old enough to know what my natural hair was like :/ it's so hard bc I have relaxed and new growth but very prone to breakage and dry, I feel like that feeling won't go away unless I cut, but it'll be extremely short, some pieces would barely be 3-4 inch, and I've have very short hair before but that's too short... point of my story is I hope my hair can look like yours.
Valkyrie Valiant at first my hair transitioning was breaking like crazy. I was losing length because it was breaking faster than growing. I think deep conditioning made a huge difference. I no longer use regular conditioner. Only deep conditioner. My hair is finally getting its length back, and the breakage is normal since you can never fully get rid of some strands breaking.
Ashley Jones i always wait until they're on sale before I buy them. Walgreens & Rite Aid always have a BOGO 50% off and shoprite sometimes sells them for very cheap. Follow shea Moisture on ig so you know when they're having a sale a be on the lookout for those discounted prices girl ☺️
Ashley Jones try the cantu line or doo gro they have a deep conditioner its not too bad and its affordable. I saw the Shea Moisture line at the hair shop this afternoon (i live in the UK) and it was on special offer for £9.99 its normally £13.00 per product. Have you tried amazon or ebay? Or any online hair stores?
Ashley Jones I also wait for Ulta to have that sale because they have an additional $3.50 off $15 or more on their website for when you buy products that are not high end.
You're amazing!!! I feel as though that I have watched every single video that you have posted! I wait patiently until you post a new one lol Thank you for this video because I have realized my hair gets so dry overnight just after I have washed and styled it! I'm going to try the intensive hydration masque/conditioner as well as the kukui grapeseed deep treatment masque both from shea moisture!
im going to try this. right now i dc with rosehip oil, argan, jojoba, avocado, tea tree, vitamine e oil, rose oil, sweet almond oil, peppermint oil, olive oil, jamaican black castor oil and rosemary oil. i dont use all of the oils together. 3 oils with water and sometimes a hairmayo mask with 2 oils, let it sit overnight and wash out the next day. my hair is easier to comb and moisturised.
Castor oil seems to sit on the surface of my hair rather than penetrating like jojoba for example. I don’t find it to be moisturizing but better to seal in moisture. Nice video though, your hair looked super moist and bouncy!
We have the same hair texture!! I can never find anyone with my texture. Do you have any naturals you follow with our hair texture? I would love to find some more!
I have long, fine 3a/b/c hair. I have problems getting definition at my roots. My roots always dry, frizzy, and undefined. I'm going to try cocktailing with oils to see if that can help me. Great video, thank you!
Wow this video was very Informative!!! I'm obviously late to the party because I did not know Shea moisture had a protein mask!!! Glad I found his video !!!!
Curlystargazer 91 I could only find it in Bed Bath and Beyond. I really wish they would put all their lines in one store. I'm tied of running around trying to find what I want. I also love the Frizz Defense but I have to go to Ulta. I might just be switching to all Camille Rose since she is expanding and I can find most of her products in Target.
Try warming your deep conditioning mix up in a glass measuring cup in a pot of water on the stove..It goes on like butter when its warm..I do this every two weeks for deep conditioning..I don't suggest microwaving it..It kills all the good stuff in it
kimberly jackson you really still should, especially if you want healthy hair. Deep conditioner will only help temporarily and if it at your ends it will either spread or hinder the rest of the hair from thriving. When I transitioned I was still putting heat on my hair, then I decided to not use any heat and I cut off more hair, which I used to once a month, it was soooooooo worth it tho because my hair grows faster and healthier. I slowed down on being scissor happy tho
+Sheka Shields I wish I could send post a pic in this thread. I literally just cut my hair last night. I transitioned 7 years ago and been completely natural for 6. I would occasionally go to the Dominicans but I stopped once I saw my curl pattern was getting messed up. Then last year in October I went to a black owned salon and they treated my hair right. But 4 months ago I went to the Dominicans twice smh. BIG mistake! my roots and my ends were okay. for some strange reason it was in-between that was damaged.. last night I cut most of it off. I'm surprised i like it😁 I'm taking baby steps to do the rest because I'm not used to having short hair..
I've heard A LOT of stories about the Dominican salons, I'm glad I never went when I was thinking about going. I don't let ANYONE touch my hair, I cut my own hair and everything else. I basically wear wigs lace half wigs and ponytails, like in my pic, so I don't have leave out or if I do the hair is close to my texture. I just keep my hair in cornrows or bantu knots, something that I don't have to manipulate my hair. Don't get me started on products lol, I've been natural for almost 3yrs.
Tried this minus the peppermint oil and I added in a scoop of the manuka honey & mafura oil dc and my hair was so soft and hydrated. Definitely going to be using this during this bi-polar winter season
my toddler has your exact hair and length. please show me how to do the perfect flexi rod set on her and what curl cream product to use. i want her to have big boucy curls!
New subbie. Thanks for explaining everything that you are doing and why. Even though I have been natural for like 4/5 years, people come up with new terms and I don’t follow all the time.. lol
Are you supposed to shampoo then deep condition or do you deep condition then shampoo it out and follow that with a regular conditioner? I've never known when to deep condition
You can do either, it just depends on what your hair likes. If you condition before shampooing, then that is called pre-pooing. I have very dry hair, so I will pre-poo for an hour, wash my hair and then deep condition for 30 minutes.
Your curls are so beautiful! I really like this combo of oils you used. I usually mix in castor oil but I'll def be adding argan oil next time as well!
plz respond 😧 so I'm trying to get curly hair * I'm black * but the thing is my hair is naturally straight so how do I get the curls you have 💕 your curls are really bomb and beautiful
Iyana Isaac yeah, nobody got time for all that. my hair is fine off 2 washes and 2 deep conditions (if needed) a month. my hair thick as heck, i hate washing it but i know what works for my hair. figure out what works for you, and go from there!
Hi I have a question I’m a natural 4C girl my question is could I spray my hair with warm or hot water to open the follicles on the hair and then apply the deep conditioner or just regular water but not so hot
After i deep condition i just rinse it out and style it as usual lol. It’s not a leave in treatment i just couldn’t film rinsing because the camera died
Kaice Alea my God!!!! Your hair looks so healthy and thick!
Kaice Alea do you wash it out with shampoo or do you just rinse the deep conditioner out with JUST water? Please help!
THE READ QUEEN just water
THE READ QUEEN after the deep conditioner it’s usually a rinse and style as opposed to applying a shampoo
What do u do with the rest of the deep conditioner you have left in the container?
I'm a white girl but I absolutely love watching hair videos on how black women care for their curly hair. It's so fascinating to me & I love when women embrace their natural hair 😍 love this video! I would love to have curly hair!
Jasmine Weller you should try Bantu knots or curling techniques for fine hair I'm pretty sure you'll get pretty curly hair
Jamya Warner lets not encourage cultural appropriation.
NaturallyJaz .......
NaturallyJaz Why? I didn't mean any malicious, I simply just said that I love curly hair & I appreciate these type of videos as I love curly hair. If anything, curly hair is probably the most desired hair type through all cultures.

Jasmine Weller ❤️❤️
Never thought I'd find someone with hair so similar to mine.

you should consider adding lavender and rosemary essential oils to your conditioner as well. Not only do they stimulate blood flow to the scalp but they do just about everything that hair needs to be strong and healthy :-)

KinkyCrown That's common sense though..

Totally unrelated to the video but your nails are so healthy and perfect. 😩💅🏾 Great tutorial!
Iman Malloy Thought only me was looking at that!
Right!
Yes gorgeous nails
That’s the first thing I said when I saw this
Omg! Girl I was thinking the same thing. Beautiful nail beds.
Adding honey also adds moisture , try it next time. See if you like it.
Shawntay Kent I'm trying it thanks 👌🏽 I already have a routine that works but if honey adds even more moister I'm all about it lol 😂
Dasha Andino did it work? lol
Shawntay Kent just about to comment this
Dasha Andino yasss me too!!!
Doesn't honey also lighten your hair
I love her hair texture. I know a lot of people like loose curls but this is the kind of hair I love
Honestly I get offended when people dislike your videos because you’re literally my go to when ever I need hair advice.😩💗
You deserve everything good.💗
God bless you.
your hair is sooooo pretty 😙 you are my inspiration
Can't wait to try this! Didn't even know they had a protein treatment
Omg I love the Argan oils and peppermint oil! I was my hair with peppermint shampoo sometimes and it just feels like it's making my hair grow! Lol your hair is beautiful!!
peppermint shampoo? Explain please
There are shampoos with peppermint in it, which makes your scalp tingle. The one I use is from Trader Joe's. It's called Tea Tree Tingle.
+JORDYN ARI oh I think I should look for it.
Shaneek Hemmings you should! & it's pretty in expensive. I think it was less than $10 for the shampoo and conditioner!
Try using warm water next time! It opens the hair shaft so products with absorbs into the shaft easily!! We have the exact hair type I see and after I changed it to warm water or used a steamed wash cloth that still had water in it. TRUST ME !!!
Omg I Can't Wait Till My Hair Grow Out your curls are so pretty 🙄
When I heard Solange I feel in love 😍 also your hair is absolutely beautiful 😩😭😍
Great video!! I want to try that deep conditioner even with all these things going on 😂😂😂
Ali B same😂🙅🏾
Awesome routine wow you helped me a lot, I also have a youtube channel all about how I grew my hair 15 inches in 1 year and now I'm focusing on keeping my long hair healthy and this video helped me a lot

Great video! I most definitely need to try the Argan oil, heat damage has literally took the life out of my hair 😩
Ur hair is amazing. I went natural a year ago and I ended up flatiron my hair and getting heat damage, so now I've cut all of my hair off and it's been about 6 months since. Now I'm missing my big puff.

Are there any great alternative brand(s) to shea moisture? bc it's pricy 😬

When she put the jbco on the dc it looked like ice cream with chocolate drizzle 😩😛
Your curls are so juicy!
Kaice I really enjoy watching your hair videos and videos in general and I support you 100 percent keep up the good work
Why didn’t I ever think of “cocktailing” when I deep condition?!! Thanks! I will do this from now on!

I love making a deep conditioner cocktail! Great video by the way 💖💖💖
Your hair is goals 😣😍
Great video. I will definitely add some oils to my deep conditioner next time. How often would you suggest doing a protein deep conditioner?
No because our hair is almost the exact same hair texture and I can't wait to do this to my hair. 😭❤️
Try warming your deep conditioning mix up in a glass measuring cup in a pot of water on the stove..It goes on like butter when its warm..I do this every two weeks for deep conditioning..I don't suggest microwaving it..It kills all the good stuff in it
I was waiting for her to say my curls are poppin
Your nails are beautiful! They're naturally gorgeous 😍😍
Hair goals 😩🙌🏾
Love ❤ the end result. Did you purchase that container or is it recycled from another product
you came through with this one !needed this video 🙂
Thankfully RUclips recommended this vid. I was about to chop all my heat damaged coils off.

Now that's what I call Maximum Hydration 😚😚😚Love it
Your curls are so pretty😍
nail maintenance tutorial PLEASE!!!
I LOOOOOOVVVVEEEEE this! I have been 'cocktailing' for a while and needed this inspo THX!
I heard it helps to put on a cap and let it heat for a while under a drier as well.
Hair twin!! Great video 😁
Thanks for the video...loved it...trying the cocktail today!
What is the regular deep conditioning you do? And does the masque really helps?
Your curls are so beautiful! I really like this combo of oils you used. I usually mix in castor oil but I'll def be adding argan oil next time as well!
Excellent tips on making a so so conditioner more effective.
curls popping! great video!
Deep conditioning is my favorite part of wash day too!
plz respond 😧
so I'm trying to get curly hair * I'm black * but the thing is my hair is naturally straight so how do I get the curls you have 💕 your curls are really bomb and beautiful
No afence but naturals deep condition every week like ummmmm.... im tired of doing my hair #Lazy
Iyana Isaac just do what works for you! If your hair is happy with it, that's all that matters
Iyana Isaac yeah, nobody got time for all that. my hair is fine off 2 washes and 2 deep conditions (if needed) a month. my hair thick as heck, i hate washing it but i know what works for my hair. figure out what works for you, and go from there!
Didn't wanna be the one to correct you; however, it's spelled "offense". I'm surprised no one corrected you.
Rissa Jaime it wasnt important to the rest of us... we weren't looking to correct her. we were looking to support her comment.
I was going correct her too lol. It's better to correct her and not have them look stupid in the future in my opinion
Great and nice. After that deep conditioning you just rinse out with water, right?
I’m seriously watching all of your videos lol
We have the same type of hair mine is just thicker but I will try this thx so much 😘😘🤗 so excited
Hi I have a question I’m a natural 4C girl my question is could I spray my hair with warm or hot water to open the follicles on the hair and then apply the deep conditioner or just regular water but not so hot
I love it. I Dont do these styles because my hair breaks easy but love love it
I'm going to try that plus that Shea Moisture deep masque
Can you do a video on how to detail hair before washing and after
Try the Jamaican black castor oil shea moisture hair line...cuz you added more ingredients that's already in that line
