    He was speaking straight up facts. How can you love a country that doesn't respect your people. Joe also brought up an interesting statement, he said somewhere along the lines of, people trying to show their patriotism through hating other minorities. I can't agree more.

      @Doge Moon He is telling the truth. America is a racist shithole with systematic racism against Asians. Systematic racism is a gross form of human rights violation. Everyone in Asia and the world need to see how racist America is. People need to speak up more about this fact. World needs to call out America for its endless human rights violations vs letting US government and media constantly controlling the narratives by labeling other countries as human rights violators based on disinformation.
      The way it is going now, America is heading towards a very dark place. Either the good Americans need to speak up, or the racist ones will take over. A racist and divided America is a very real threat to national security.
      This isn't just an Asian American problem. Rather, it is a problem for ALL Americans.

      I am not sure if I can believe in karma. After all the wealthy powerful families of a hundred years ago, even many of the ones who have done bad, are still wealthy and doing well today. Instead of waiting for karma sometimes we all need to do better in our lives, communities, and perhaps lead others to do well. That's lifting the population up instead of waiting for just rewards

    • @class6aa

      @Komrade Karebear Baken Maller thinking freely is a concept your government what you to think your stupid.... and stop thinking you think freely when you read one only arguments from one side and just one biased article by 30 ppl who possible have hidden political agenda. Seriously, if you are really so passionate about Tibet an Uighur just read Wikipedia (which is banned in China in case you say this is used to brainwash Chinese people) entries for Tibetan history, Uighur, east Turkistan. Seriously..... “Ignorance is strength”
      Btw you know why Tibet is so messed up now and is absorbed in to China? It is because British tired to colonised it after it got Indian. The Tibetans had no choice but to seek help form the Chinese to fight against the British this eventually lead to them losing their power. And if your were thinking tibetans would lead a better life under British rule, just look at what happens to aboriginals in your own country. I wonder if the aboriginal in Australia still has its own language. And yes Tibetan still have their own language and that language is even written in even RMB note, so is the Uighur language.

    Joe Wong is right and insightful of how minorities are treated in America. He's got 5 traffic violations already and in my case I've been driving for over 45 years and been stopped for minor speeding violations (10 miles over the limit) twice and twice got a ticket; whereas, my white friends tell me they've been stopped numerous times and got a warning most of the times. These are some of the facts we have to recognize and accept.

      It exists within and has to be solved within. If i accepted media or other influences and made it’s view mine, I probably had to meet and talk to a real person i had racism towards to break it.
      If one sees thing as it is, he will eventually get rid of the filter within and realise everyone is just a human, they love, they hate, they hurt, they feel pain, and happiness, they can forgive, and they can change.

    • @persimmon93
      @persimmon93 3 года назад +2

      The Asian attacks have been shown in Korea. Korea and Japan are two of the most technologically advanced nations in the world. You dont have to worry about us not knowing because, collectively, we probably know more than what Chinese people know. We have freedom of press, unlike China. I only came to see this because I respect Joe Wang and wanted to see his interview.

    • @htin08
      @htin08 3 года назад +1

      @@persimmon93
      Freedom of press is overrated since, press is controlled by lobbies to lies and control the narrative.
      Both South Korea and Japan have US troops stationing in their lands. So I doubt that their media are being careful about a narrative which suggest their occupiers are racist against them.

    • @persimmon93
      @persimmon93 3 года назад

      @@htin08 freedom of press means press is controlled by lobbyists to lie and control the narrative? To some degree that can be true. But what does that make Chinese news? They control the entire narrative to only say good things about their country. If you look at western news, they have the integrity to show the bad side of their country as much as the good side. They are less biased than the countries that censor only the bad side of their nation.
      Having troops stationed in another country does not mean they are owned by another nation. That is such an ignorant and petty argument. Does that mean Somalia is owned by half the world because they have military bases from alot of countries? Does that mean Germany is owned by the US because the US has military bases in Germany? What about Poland? Besides, US troops would not be in South Korea if China did not support and aid North Korea. The US is in South Korea because of North Korea. China didnt intervene in the Korean war, the US troops would eventually be removed from South Korea because there would no longer be a threat to a democratic Korea. Also, Korea is a democratic country. People can do anything guaranteed under the rights protected by the law. This includes speaking out against the US troops. However, the people who speak put are only a minority. The majority of people values the alliance between the US and Korea.

    • @persimmon93
      @persimmon93 3 года назад

      @Yellow First "Japan does not cover the war crimes committed by the Americans during WWII" is a complicated issue that will take too much time to try and explain to you so I will skip on this. The short summary is, US and Japan were in war, both sides suffered heavy casualties, US demanded Japanese surrender 2x before they dropped the nuclear bomb to end the war. The Japanese teach the history, life goes on, your argument is false.
      Any rapes/crimes that occur by US soldiers will be prosecuted by Korean law if conducted in Korean soil. Korea is the 6th strongest nation in the world and the closest US ally to Beijing. The US is not going to jeopardize this strategic relation because of some soldiers that committed crimes. Same goes to Japan. The US soldiers obey the native laws and if they don't they face prosecution from the native justice system. Your argument is invalid.

    It’s like people want to be self-centered that’s why they are crazy protesting and continue protests.
    Like trump’s stigmatized about China virus instead of coronavirus and he made a lot joking about Asians. Only people don’t understand what coronavirus is they just listened what were informed. I can say people behaved that is just try to look cool in their head by against Asians for benefit small things like attack and robs.

    When the audience gets quiet from your joke about a heavy issue, it means they are in the process of thinking about what you just said and, hopefully, in their minds, they might change their thoughts, attitudes and actions in accordance with your subject. That is the purpose of art. Making someone think and/or feel something. And when it's delivered with the brilliancy of this amazing comedy of Joe Wong here, it's transcendent.

    Before the Han there was still the Denisovans, who invariably inhabited the Yellow River area prior to the arrival of the proto-Han. Yes, at some point in antiquity they would have still arrived there from elsewhere. We don’t know if there were earlier human populations present when the proto-Han arrived. What we do know is that we can find traces of Denisovan DNA in modern Han populations. Whether we consider Denisovans as an earlier “human” population is still up for debate, but it’s some pretty clear evidence of earlier inhabitants in the region.
    Responses like this attempting to depict Han as the absolute earliest inhabitants of the area is fanciful, but also a product of what became Chinese culture and Confucian influences. Both of these emphasize a connection to the land that supposed to stretch back to the earliest recorded histories, not unlike anthology of Celtic populations, certain groups in the Middle East, etc. In all of these other cases, archeology has been able to demonstrate and explore what earlier populations looked like, practiced, and were distinct from what became the oldest known populations to a region. It’s the culture here in this case that still prevents that same type of inquiry from occurring.
    The very definition of Hua Xia (華夏) is the amalgamation of many different people who shared a similar agricultural lifestyle, and joined together to become what we know is Han. That necessarily means that these different groups had different identities preceding this, including different histories of migration to the area.
    Are modern populations descended, at least in part, from the earliest known inhabitants there? Yes, that’s very likely. But it’s also certain that there are additional genetic overlays and cultural layers that have been added over time.

    So Joe Wong received 14 speeding tickets in about a decade in America? You better slow down brother. Its not like driving in China. You have to follow the traffic laws and pay attention to the change in speed limits. Stop blaming the cops that you got 14 speeding tickets. You were the one speeding. And just think of all the other days you sped and you did not get a ticket. You were probably lucky you only got stopped 14 times. haha.

And there are speed traps where the speed limit drops suddenly and you may not have noticed the speed limit sign because it was hidden behind trees.
