Hey guys! Thank you for the love on my monstera Collection! I meant to tell you I linked most of the monstera videos I have on my channel down in the description box if you were interested in a certain plant, some go back a long time ago lol. Thank you for watching and being here! 🫶
I have the smallest monstera mint rn it’s pushing out its third leaf, I love the satisfaction of growing plants from a baby to maturity! Can’t wait to see this beautiful grow!
Your Monstera collection is stupendous. My impression is that it is more like an exhibit rather than just a collection, suitable for the Smithsonian. I’m not kidding. First we had King Tut’s tomb, now we have Melissa’s Plant Room. Ok, so that’s a pun intended. Wonderful plants and thanks for showing us.
Hi, I just happened across your channel. You had me when I saw the Monstera collection. . What a beautiful collection. Your background with all the moss pole is so striking.
Use silica to keep the white from browning.tell the monstera Peru you love it and you are proud of it and it is strong green resilient and quick growing. My bambino grew 6” in 1 week in low light when I started talking to it. 😊
My favorite in your collection of Monstera is the Thai Constellation! I only have a regular Adansonii right now, but I do love her - she’s the gal that got me hooked on tropical houseplants!
Such a beautiful collection! That variegated adansonii was my favorite from all of your collection Melissa, even she push all white leaf she still looks so beautiful. I would love to see your syngonium collection soon. Love lots, from Philippines!
Thank you so much! The white is so pretty! Syngonium collection I will write that one down. I don't really show or talk about them much but I have around 9 I believe!
Stunning stunning collection! 😍 The adansonii albo is such a scary plant. Saw many in my local group with tonnes of full moons. And most started from half moons as the base. Siltepecana looks like dubia but longer petioles haha! Just added in my to-get list. Thank you. And I for sure will get my hands on one Burle Marx Flame. One tiny leaf here can cost about $350+ 🥲
Thank you so much! Oh that’s interesting! It definitely has been a pain to grow and so scary! I get disappointed every time a white leaf dies I’m like not again 🥲 I love the siltepecana! It’s so easy going and grows pretty fast! I think I might a dubia down the road. I had a chance to get one and I passed on it. Yes! The flame is so gorgeous 😭 why so expensive lol one day 🤞🏼
I love your videos and your collection ❤ my var monstera peru does really well in an east window with no grow light and foliage pro😊 I hope that helps you!
Absolutely beautiful Monstera’s Melissa! As i’ve told you I have an “Aurea” ….I think, And it’s struggling now so i’m super stressed about it. BUT…….The Monstera Flame is def in my wish list too! Such a cool, cool plant! Merry Christmas to you, your husband and your beautiful kitties ❤
Ah yes I remember you telling me that! I'm so sorry it's still struggling! 🥺I hope it can pull through for you! The flame is so beautiful! I hope I can add one to my collection one day. Happy holidays to you as well and thank you!!
What a collection! If you had to pick a monstera to recommend to someone looking for slower growing and on the small side, what would you say? I have no monstera but would love to, I just don't have a lot of space.
What is the light that you shed on the beautiful plant? Is it white or yellow? Explain to me please, and what should I do if the sun's rays do not reach my plants and make them grow like the ones you have
Can I ask why you removed the moss poles from your deliciosas? I just received one as a gift and am going to help 2 friends one with an Albo set them up on moss poles. And I’ve never seen the cocoa core chunks in the moss does it help retain moisture?
Hi there! I'll put a link to my Moss Pole Playlist - I have all my previous moss pole videos saved under it. I have a couple on my micans and my marble queen! :)
@plantsbymelissa since you are the monstera Queen lol which monstera species would you recommend for someone who has never had a monstera before? Also, would you happen to have any cuttings I could purchase from you?
Beautiful collection! My monstera standleyana aurea does the same thing with the browning. I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work. I think it’s just certain plants. It’s really pretty either way!
I also have a variegated adansonii and it was growing so crazy fast that I decided to propagate at the end of the summer and the mother plant has only given me white leaves since. If I knew what I know now 😅
As I've said before, all your plants are beautiful. But your Aurea is something special. I had no interest in one until I saw yours. But the Burle Marx flame is top tier wishlist plant. If I wasn't so scared to pay so much for a cutting, I would have one already.
Thank you so much! The aurea is definitely so beautiful and the flame is just gorgeous!!! I wasn't that interested in it until recently and now I feel like I need one but definitely going to wait on the price to come down. I paid so much for some of my plants during the pandemic and although I LOVE them they are much cheaper now lol. I should have waited a year for some of them.
Oh jesus! Monstera Peru ist just the worst thing ever… same for me siss 😂😂 I do also own a Monstera Aurea/Albo and Thai and I am OBSESSED I literally bought like 4 Thai hahahahah just one Aurea though. My albo just got cut because I want a full plant with like 3-4 plants growing! I reallllyyyy want a mint one … but the price 😅😅😅😂😂 Nicep video! ✨✨
I had a beautiful Monstera Peru (not variegated) that was growing in Leca in a self watering pot and loved it. I bought it that way and it was my first experience with Leca. I agree that they prefer moderately lower lighting conditions and mine had much darker green leaves than yours as a result. I only parted with it because I moved countries. I love your collection Melissa!
I removed all of my moss poles from monstera deliciosas :) I find the aerial roots grow straight through them and out the other end so it's pretty pointless to keep damp moss for that. I find a stake provides the same support and the leaves size up regardless.
For me, the aurea looks good, and I really like yours, but the aurea isn't even in the same league as the Albo. That bright white and dark green is just unparalleled. I've never thought that the Thai or the Aurea were anywhere close to as beautiful as the Albo. But I do really like those plants as well. Your Thai looks better than most, as it has the large sectorial white sections, that are prevalent with the Albo's. When Thai's have that large sectorial variegation, they do come close to some of the more average Albo's, but I've never seen a great Thai, that looked as good as a great Albo.
Breathtaking collection! However i have few notes… can we stop calling plants from big buck stores “rescues”? And also your comment - Its beautiful because its variegated rubbed me a wrong way… And Monstera Standleyana is variegated everytime, Its not an Albo 🤦🏻♂️ People need to stop with this… nothing against you, you are lovely :) Its just that all of my plant pet peeves happened in this video 🤷🏻♂️
You’re giving me a backhanded compliment 😅To answer your questions… I’ll call a plant from a big box store a rescue if I want to and in a lot of cases they are :) a monstera standleyana has different variegated varieties and mine is an albo. What do you call the aurea? 🤦♀️ I just so happen to love variegated plants and that’s perfectly okay 👌🏼
Hey guys! Thank you for the love on my monstera Collection! I meant to tell you I linked most of the monstera videos I have on my channel down in the description box if you were interested in a certain plant, some go back a long time ago lol. Thank you for watching and being here! 🫶
Melissa, Are any of your Monstera Deliciosas on moss poles or are they now on wooden stakes or other support (that is not a moss pole)?
I have the smallest monstera mint rn it’s pushing out its third leaf, I love the satisfaction of growing plants from a baby to maturity! Can’t wait to see this beautiful grow!
You may want to consider doing an all variegated plant collection video!
Ooh! Good idea! I wonder how many plants they would be 😂 lol have to count!
Wow, that Monstera esqueleto looks so amazing with those beautiful leaves.
😂😂😂 thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed my collection! I’m so happy to share! 🥰
The adansonii variegata 😮 so pretty!
Hi, I just happened across your channel. You had me when I saw the Monstera collection. . What a beautiful collection. Your background with all the moss pole is so striking.
Thank you so much!
Such beautiful plants, of course the albo is my favorite, who can resist such a beautiful plant. Philodendron tour would be great
Right! They’re so pretty! 🥹 awesome! Thank you!!
I would like to see that to.
Me as well!!
Beautiful and healthy monstera plants ❤❤
Beautiful collection. This makes you so happy, it shows in your reactions when you are talking about them. Keep up the great work. Merry Christmas 🎅
Thank you so much! 🥹 i think growing them and seeing how far they’ve come is so rewarding and makes me so happy! Happy holidays 🎄🤗

You look so proud of them and with good reason 😍
Thank you! They make me so happy to see how far they've come! 🥹
Gorgeous monstera collection.
oh wow, your wish list Monstera Mint is so delicious looking! I just adore your collection and the way its displayed.
My favorite in your collection of Monstera is the Thai Constellation! I only have a regular Adansonii right now, but I do love her - she’s the gal that got me hooked on tropical houseplants!
Love your monstera collection. Thank you for show them to us.
Thank you so much! Happy to share them! 🫶
You have the healthiest looking plants I've seen on here!!
Thank you so much!! 🥹 I definitely enjoy taking care of them and I try my best to keep them happy :)
There has been a single pretty big variegated adansonii at my local nursery for a while now… you are making me want to splurge😂 love your collection!
Thank you!! lol uh oh if you keep thinking about it then it might be a sign 😆🫶
I just got a standleyana aurea from etsy I am in love!!! I also love your collection 💚
Thank you! Congratulations!! I hope it does so well for you! I saw one recently in a plant shop and I still think about it lol
Wow that esqueleto. Is huge. The variegation is great.
The new leaf was so big! So happy to see it doing well :)
All so beautiful monsteras !👍
I agree they r the best,love them all💚
💚🌵🌱☘️💚
Gorgeous plants 💚🎄🎄🎄
Thank you so much! 🌿🥰

@@plantsbymelissa Haha yes! May the price go down soon for us all!
I love your videos and your collection ❤ my var monstera peru does really well in an east window with no grow light and foliage pro😊 I hope that helps you!
Thank you! I do have an east window I could try! I appreciate that!
Great collection. 💚💚💚
Thank you so much! ☺️🌿
really impressive collection. Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much! 🥰
Gorgeous collection Melissa! 💚 tfs.
Thank you so much! 🥰

Cool collection 😍. My favorite from your collection would be aurea , adansonii and albo. Sorry can't pick one
haha it's almost impossible to choose just one of them! Thank you for watching and being here! 🫶
Would you mind sharing what medium you put in your Thiccly pole? I’ve been looking for a pole to put my Philo Hastatum on, and these look perfect.
Can I ask why you removed the moss poles from your deliciosas? I just received one as a gift and am going to help 2 friends one with an Albo set them up on moss poles. And I’ve never seen the cocoa core chunks in the moss does it help retain moisture?
Monstera aurea has the most elegant magic variegation. It doesn’t compete with Thai or albo….😍😍
It’s so special! I’m so happy to have one 🥹
I would love to see how you do your Milan plant on a pole, and your marble queen on pole
Hi there! I'll put a link to my Moss Pole Playlist - I have all my previous moss pole videos saved under it. I have a couple on my micans and my marble queen! :)

My favourite plant in your collection is Monstera aurea
Beautiful collection!
My monstera standleyana aurea does the same thing with the browning. I’ve tried everything and nothing seems to work. I think it’s just certain plants. It’s really pretty either way!
Thank you! Good to know maybe I will get one down the road and see what happens but you’re right they’re still pretty!
Another one with HUGE leaves. The variegation on the Adansonii
My monstera peru variegated is doing really well, no burning at all. I think it can be because of the gene.
Do you still have the verigated monstera peru? Try giving it less light! Mine is thriving in lower light
I also have a variegated adansonii and it was growing so crazy fast that I decided to propagate at the end of the summer and the mother plant has only given me white leaves since. If I knew what I know now 😅

How do you stop your albo from going brown
Wow 20
That browning on the kartesianum could be some fungus 🤔
FYI: My Peru (not variegated) is in fairly low light and the soil can get pretty dry before I water again, and my plant is thriving.
Thank you! I’m excited to give it another go and see how it does! I’m so happy yours is doing well! 🙌🏼
I put mine in high light and it threw a fit! Basically bleached the leaves.
Uh, that adansonii Indonesian variegata😍
The esqueleto just does not do it for me. But have the aurea on my wish list. Yours are beautiful.
inspiring
Thank you! 🥰
Not Milan. Mican I think is name of it, you just had it next to monstera% dark velvety leaves
Do deliciosa's grow better with just sticks? Why don't you put them on moss poles?
I removed all of my moss poles from monstera deliciosas :) I find the aerial roots grow straight through them and out the other end so it's pretty pointless to keep damp moss for that. I find a stake provides the same support and the leaves size up regardless.
My vereigated Peru , does the same thing. It’s annoying. I’m new to your channel and I love your collection
Thank you so much! It is really annoying lol
Where do you purchase them from?!
I've gotten them from local or private fb groups, nurseries, Etsy shops no particular place :)
For me, the aurea looks good, and I really like yours, but the aurea isn't even in the same league as the Albo. That bright white and dark green is just unparalleled. I didn’t know that there was that many monsteras
That aurea by the way it not a borsigiana 🙂 its definitely a large form.
M💚NSTERAS!!!
💚💚💚
Why didn't you cut the all white branch back? It only consumes energy! And perhaps... another branch will emerge
Having the same problem with my vareigated peru😥
I’m sorry yours is browning too! I wonder if they’re just more prone to it 🥲
🪴🌱
I think they’re all your favorites. Lol 😂
LOL it's hard to choose just one
Breathtaking collection! However i have few notes… can we stop calling plants from big buck stores “rescues”?
