Hi Larrin. I am a big fan of your work. I have watched the original Hot wings show. The host of that show seems quite intelligent, well researched, and well mannered.
This host seems a complete opposite. It was a little bit hard to watch. At some point it became entertaining, in a similar way when you go to a restaurant with a known offensive waiter staff.
Great job on your part, I thought. There is something very satisfying to see a great guy look calm, collected and composed when faced with a down right offensive host.
And thank you for your great work in metallurgy. I really enjoy following your work.

Your wife is really funny. I enjoyed that. I didn't realize that was your wife until I read the comments. Your explanation to the question of, why create another super steel or knife steel, was a good one, but do you think the price tag placed on the knives produced with these super steels is justified? Does it really cost more to produce certain knife steels over other steels? Or, are the high price tags of these knives a result of the retailers taking advantage of the novelty of the new steel?
Powder metallurgy is a much more expensive process for making steel, though other costs like abrasives may matter more when it comes to high wear resistance steel. But cost is a complicated subject with a lot more factors involved than just steel. Hard to give a blanket answer.
