- Some I am lazy don't feel like cooking a ton, so these are some quick meals I normally make on days like those! On extremely lazy days where I don't cook at all I usually just get takeout, but these are for those in-between days where you don't want to spend money on food but you also don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen. Every time I follow her exact recipe and even other vegan cookie recipes, my cookies always come out very...doughy if that makes sense. They’re thicker and don’t flatten out like hers to be soft and gooey. I even make them into flat cookie shapes before putting them in the oven but same thing happens. Does anyone know why this happens or have any tips?! Hers look so good and I’m just not sure what I’m doing wrong 😩

You should try the potato rösti with a sweet apple puree.. tastes awesome and that's how they eat it in Germany and Austria

yes definitely keep the cutting board, my mother has the same exact thing she's had it for a little about 5 or so years now. It works great and it allows for more cutting room than a standard cutting board.

I love that you're from Halifax :) I'm from Winnipeg, currently living in Toronto but my mom is from there and her side of the family still lives in Halifax. I feel like every vegan youtuber is from Cali so it's nice having a vegan cook close to home.

Cutting board looks nice against the dark counter. Nice contrast. I have a cheese board that is 3/4 marble and 1/4 wood and I love it on my dark counter tops.

Hey Liv! You should definitely keep the cutting board :) my mom has it and I love it. Unfortunately I'm sharing my place with roommates and I would rather keep my board in perfect condition, so I'll buy one when I live on my own haha. Ikea food is surprisingly delicious and it's so convenient to reheat it whenever you have a lazy day. I wonder what other stuff you got at Ikea 😁 congratulations for your course!

My husband and I LOVE the ikea veggie balls. My favorite way to have them is with mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with gravy on top. Yummmmmmmmm

You usually eat the potato pancakes/Röstis with apple sauce or cinnamon and sugar. At least that's how we eat it in Germany, Where they're from :))
In Poladn we eat the potato pancakes with either a mushroom sauce or meat stew or a sour cream :)

I used to have this cutting board. It's cute and it looks good on your counter, but mine bent pretty bad real fast.
Also, make sure you oil it with natural oil to keep it looking better longer.

And! Try making the potatoe pancakes in the oven next time. Then they become more crispy if you would like that. I love them crispy. I eat them with lingonberry jam. 😋 Us Swedes really enjoy our lingonberry jam served with savoury foods.
