Watching you, with the sound of the birds and animals outside, makes me feel like I’m visiting a friends house.
Love that! So glad you enjoy it!
I agree 100%. You feel like you're in another world. A charming world.
The background noises of the cockerel, cat, dog, wild birds etc sounded like a sound effect man on his first day accidently switching on all the sounds in a panic! Really made me giggle. Loved the painting too!
Yes, sometimes they are a bit OTT!
I really love the sounds of the animals on the background…
I like the doodling with darker paint - makes a nice change from using pens.
It does, doesn’t it!
I painted along 😊 and I so enjoyed the natural sounds of birds, roosters, dogs and cats! That is the best background music, really. Great commentary too. I used an older set of paints which I deserved a bit more attention. I found so many nice mixes! Thanks for another relaxing morning of painting.
Sounds great!
I really love these doodles! Love the idea of a doodle binder, great idea. Thank you for what you do, Diane. 🌻
Glad you like them!
Thank you for that Diane. I completely wound down and relaxed watching you do that. The pastel art nouveau colours are very calming too.
Perhaps I will make myself a cuppa and then try it. I love your gentle chat, too, as you paint 😊
You are so welcome Hilary, so glad you enjoyed it! So much stress to perform, we don’t need it!
Glad that you introduced us to these beautiful colors!! Hoping to have play time this coming winter!!😊
I hope so too!
That was fun Diane ~ I might add line work to it later! I'm not sure yet! Be safe and God bless you and your family ❤️✝️🙏🏻
Thank you so much!
This was fun. Great way to warm up after not painting for a couple of days
Excellent!
Lots of fun and very calming! many thanks! Love these paints!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for another nice video!❤
You are so welcome!
The colors are so pretty and soft! ❤
Besides enjoying watching you paint it is very funny to see both my cats reacting to the sound of your cat and rooster💖🍀😀
That turned out very pretty. I like the Kuretake pinks! That is the set that I got a few weeks ago. I'm having so much fun with these colors!!
That is awesome!
Always enjoy your work and the sounds of the animals is relaxing. Will be working on this project this evening to end a busy day of gardening and yard work. It’s a bit chilly/rainy here in northern Michigan too. Have a wonderful day Diane 🎨💕
Sounds great! Thanks so much xxx
I had to stop the video because i could hear a cat calling the kind of call when they bring you a "gift"
Then you said "i don't know if you can hear my cat meowing..but then it did not stop so i paused my video..and it was actually my cat with a "gift".
So i had to get out of bed to go open the door and it resulted in me at 2am to go see if i could find its nest..it was not to hard to find .
At the end of our street is a mockingbird 's nest and this baby was so feisty. I just put it back as high as i could reach..i guess cats will be cats but i really dislike them catching the babies.
And I really enjoy your delicate painting and calm voice.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful art ,Diane!
Much love from USA.
❤
WoW, Very Great and So Beautiful Painting, 🙏🏼🙏🏼👏👏🤩🤩🌹🌹🌹🌹
Thanks for nice efforts.
Thank you so much 😀
I had some of these paints a few years ago and gave them away. After watching you, I learned that there was nothing wrong with the paint, but it was me using them incorrectly. I have repurchased them all. LOL. I hope you use them soon with a new understanding. I can't wait for your next four-hour video!
Great to hear!
Love hearing all your animals in the background. It is over 90 degrees here, with a feels like of 102. I wouldn't mind a few days of your weather. ☺
Oh wow!
Thank you for this inspirational video! I love my Art Nouveau set, thanks to you!
You are so welcome!
Just right for today!
A nice, relaxed video full of inspiration. Thank you, Diane.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Pretty!!!!! Saludos desde España
Pretty
This looks like fun 💗🪴
Those ate really charming colors. ❤
Wow 🤩 so gorgeous
Love the doodle binder idea!
wow Diane i loved your doodle art work put together in the folder.
I definitely want to do this project! Will watch first. Thanks! Peggy
Have fun!
I was so excited because I have everything you are using....I thought. I bought your brush set last year when it came out. But I just went to get the #10 and kinda bummed that it was a #9. But it was good enough....it's your set! :). I couldn't do all the rectangles that you did, arm/hand got too tired/hurty and my doodles need light years of practice, but I really enjoyed it. I did get off on the wrong foot, squares too small, and not pastel-y like your....somehow managed to go all over the place with the colors. I've never posted any of my little tries on any of the FB art groups but just might post on your page.....not to embarrassing as it looks a bit abstract. I'm liking some simple little abstracts that I've seen around on youtube. Never thought I'd like that kind of art but here I am LOL. Thanks so much again for using the 'Art Nouveau' set.
I'm so glad Kathy! It sounds like you are having fun! Don’t you think that the great thing about a piece like this is that it just doesn’t matter what you create, the important thing is to do it. It keeps the brain occupied, gives you little rushes of satisfaction when something works, little achievements mean so much. Would love to see your work so why not share it on the Facebook members group? Happy painting!
@@DianeAntoneStudio Yes ,I believe that. I'm going to continue on and make a whole bunch of bookmarks like you have done, after I manage a page or 50, LOL.. I'm a bit hooked on it now. I hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend on your lovely farm and in your studio. :D
Pretty & fun💖
I had fun seeing this lesson, Diane.
Your live pets added to the ambience.
(As one of your commenters said...)
It really is like painting with an old friend; and it didn't hurt that I had the same palette!
-Eva in far north Texas!
BTW, thank you for thumbing through the pages of your previous Doodles and practice work, it's so helpful for me to see that, as I'm such a novice at ideas. #Lovepainting
Glad you enjoyed it!
Your binder is so fun🎉
Thanks!
Sigh, ❤ this 🐦 is so calming. 😊 No worries, Auntie Diane has it all the pretty colors under control. Chirp chirp.
Thank you. This was great. I gonna do this. I guess there is a mistake in delivery for weather, Here in Finland suppose to be fresh now but we have had 2 weeks hot summer heat. 😅
Weather forecasts are a waste of time !!
Thanks Diane, I really like this idea, it looks really pretty, can't wait to give it a go 🥰. It's always lovely to hear your animals in the background 😅 bless them!
We have similar weather here in Ontario Canada. Heat in morning, air conditioning by late afternoon and rain. Crazy.
Oh wow! The world has turned upside down
So pretty!
Thanks Carolyn, so glad you enjoyed it!
I’m in Las Vegas, Nevada and it’s 108 today!
Wow! Summer ☀️ hitting with a bang! ❤ Take care.
Yikes. You’ve got our heat!!!
I live in Coarsegold, CA which is located in the Sierra Foothills just south of Yosemite and it was 106. So having this channel to watch, learn, and escape with is a blessing.
I visited katie moody's. She will certainly help me to be fearless!
Beautiful 🩷
Thank you! Cheers!
❤
I have a question about the Kuretake paint. I love it and I have quite a few of their pallets but I want to know if you can buy individual pans when you use a pan up. I enjoy spending time with you. Thank you for sharing your time and talent with us.
Replacement pans are available in a couple of websites but the colors are very limited. I don’t think the Art Nouveau colors are sold separately however. Jackson’s Art in the UK offers a few of the colors. Bummer!
@@msgail7232 Thank you for your answer, I didn't check Jacksons. I will check it out!
Sorry for the delay in replying ladies but that’s not correct. There are companies which supply the pans including Art Nouveau ones. This is a link to one such company. www.jetpens.com/Kuretake-Gansai-Tambi-Watercolors-Single-Pans/ct/4089. If you search “replacement Kuretake pans” on google you’ll find other suppliers in various countries. Hope this helps.
@@DianeAntoneStudio Thank you for the link. I googled Kuretake pans but didn't have any luck when l tried, I knew if anyone knew it would be you!
I have the art nouveau set but mine doesn’t look like that, nor have that many colors. Are there 2 of this set, do you know❓❓. I always love watching you create. You’re a good teacher❣️. Thank you🦋🦋
No, only one. I have rearranged mine and in the video I did show the original set in the original format.
What are the measurements of your palette? It's a very functional solution.
You are always a joy❤
Lol, that was the first thing I Googled. The ones that came up for me are 12" x 16". ❤
@windywednesday4166 It doesn't appear that large. It looks square. I love the setup.
@marytesta3003 Right. I went back to the video. It looks like maybe it's at 12 x 12 inch? The pans are just over an inch wide and almost 2 inches long.
I counted the pans in her palette, there were 11 on one side, 6 or 7 across the end, this might help determine the size of her palette. I will try again to count the pans as the palette is shown.
The palette I have is about 12 x 12. Hope that helps!
I have a question about the paper. Your project turned out beautiful on the hot pressed paper and it seems to be a perfect match for these paints so I’m wondering what your thoughts are on the subject. Also, thank you for sharing your talent and creative art. As a beginner I find your tutorials extremely helpful and inspiring.
TBH there wasn’t much difference. But if I were going to use pen work on top, the hot pressed paper is easier on the pen and gives a better effect I think. Thanks so much for your kind words!
Thank you. Your reply is quite helpful as I am planning to use pen.
Loving the empty white palette to organize my Kuretake paints. Do you know where your friend purchased it?
It’s available on Amazon here: amzn.to/3wZWjnI
Love this palette and found it on Amazon. What size is your palette please? The one on Amazon that looks like yours is 12” X 16”.
Mine’s about 12 x 12 but 12 x 16 might be even better!
