Mr Elias Monage, Black Business Council BBC President addresses the BBQ Awards 2023, South Africa's premier black business awards, and introduces the keynote speaker, the Deputy President of South Africa, the Honourable Paul Mashatile. The search was on for South Africa's leaders in transformation. BBQ Awards, South Africa's most prestigious and longest-running black business awards ceremony, has for the past 19 years celebrated and recognised our champions of transformation. The BBQ Awards encourage and promote sustainable black business, B-BBEE, and transformation through the recognition of good corporate governance, leadership, and achievement. BBQ Awards was celebrated once again on the 24th of March 2023. The BBQ Awards consisted of 10 categories open to individuals, black-owned and empowered companies, and organisations in South Africa. The finalists and winners were selected by a panel of independent adjudicators.
