Dang, I was focused on spring/summer garments, but now I want to make a fringed scarf!
I think it would really look nice on a light lacy cotton scarf. 😁
I have always wanted to learn how to do this. Thank you for teaching me. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
That scarf is beautiful...the colours and handiwork are perfect.
You've made the 'fringe' *FABULOUS* !!! Fringes are always sooooo boring & plain. This makes it stand out :)))
Thank you for this video. I like your method so much. An afghan I am working calls for long fringe. When you have 4 dogs that's just not happening. I was looking for an alternative and this is perfect. Thank you again.
Shut the front door! 😲 I’ve always disliked putting fringe on garments but girl you have converted me. Watch out crochet projects here I come!! ♥️🧶♥️
I am going to try this. Pretty scarf.
Like those fringes.
Yes...this is perfect deviation from the traditional fringe. Definitely gonna use this technique.
Great demonstration. You are a great teacher. 🙂
Oh how I LOVE this! Thanks for the tutorial. I always wondered how these were made not to unravel.
Same. It’s much easier than I thought it would be.
You have THE best tips and ideas!
Scarf and fringe are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!
All of the little hacks were very good for me. I needed how to keep projects all straight instead of missing or adding stitches ! Thank you
This is so neat! Thank you 😊.
Thanks for this video. So perfect that this popped in my search since this is the pattern I'm making!
Beautiful work!
Well well well! And here I am still doing regular fringes. No more! Twisty fringes here I come!!! Thank you so much for your vids.
The colors in both scarves are AMAZING. would love to know the colors of the green and blue. So pretty. Tassels are gonna be fun to try. Thank you 😊
Excellent!I have always hated fringe on most things. It always gets tangled, things get stuck in it. It looks shabby. I LOVE THIS!! Very Classy. Thank You.
Ive always wanted to do this on some of my crocheted shawls. Your tutorial was wonderful. I think my mistake was the knot. Thank you so much for sharing. I will use your technique the next time I want twisted fringe.
Thank you I was looking for an elegant fringe this it. Just finished a beautuful scarf for my nephew I will use this fringe pattern. Oh! Just had an thought it also would be perfect for a blanket.

Great tutorial! I love the fringe, and also the scarf and yarn used. Can you give the pattern and yarn information? 🙏🏻
Teşekkürler harika
Neat trick. By any chance do you have a tutorial of the scarf too? It’s great looking.
That's gorgeous! Would something like that be hand wash only?
Thank U for another option for fringe on scarfs. I really do not like the old school fringe. Thank U again. 👍
Best ever fringe tutorial!
AWESOME 😁
Ty so much
Brilliant, and I assume it keeps fringe from fraying like mine always does!
Great! Thanks 😊you have the best techniques.
how is this in a washer? i doubt i’d ever try lol, but i’m curious.
Hi Toni I love the colors in your Odyssey scarf could you tell me what yarn you used and the colors
beautiful, and just passing it through once holds the 'knot ' tight.. even when washing? do you apply a dot of fabric glue?
Love this!!! Do you know if this will flattened a Tunisian Knit Stitch blanket?
Natural born teacher
Do you have a tutorial for the scarf
You have the pattern of scarf of 3colors tassels please i love it
💛💛
Man, this is gorgeous but I don’t know if I have the patience to do all that fringe 😂
It takes much less time than you think! I just put on some Netflix and knock it out :-)
Where did ya get the pattern to the beautiful piece you’re adding fringe to?
Hi darling! You can find that video here: www.lovecrafts.com/en-us/p/odyssey-wrap-by-toni-lipsey-in-the-yarn-collective-downloadable-pdf
Hi, this link is giving me an error. I’ve purchased the pattern but would love to have a video to reference as well. Can you please send me reupload the video?
Question does it wash well?
Also curious how the fringe holds up to washing?
Mine just comes untwisted when I let go.
Great tutorial and you make it so easy. would you know how many yards of 4 oz yarn I would need to make 16 8" long x 1/2" wide twisted tassels? I bought a throw blanket and want to attach 8 on the two ends.
I love this! Great tutorial ❤️
