- Watch me make some scrunchies for my Etsy business, my Amazon Handmade store and for my website. I decided to start an inventory of the popular Scrunchie designs instead of doing them POD (print on demand). I’m finding out that this is necessary to be able to pack and ship my orders quicker.

You are amazing artist. Thank you for sharing your work.
Hi Kyvetta! Thank you so much for your kind words! 🥰
Hello! RUclips suggested your channel and I'm so glad it did, I subscribed within 5 minutes of watching!! I do sublimation as well and I make my own fabric also. I loved your video and will be binge watching the others. I wish you great success with your channel and business. Can't wait to see more content from you. Your scrunchies are amazing!!!
Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you for subscribing! It really means a lot to me! 🥰 As you probably already know since you print your own fabric as well, it is literally limitless on what you can make! 😊
They ended up soooo pretty!!! I bet your fabric is good quality, as they don't fray much. I'm also happy to see someone doing the same way of closing the scrunchie shut (invisible seam by hand) like I do. Yes, time consuming, but worth it. 😍😍😍
Oh thank you! Yes, I don’t like to see thread on the outside of the scrunchie when closing up the opening either. 🥰
@@SewandPrintwithJulia best of luck on your channel dear. Just found about it, and I'll be binge watching soon. I love watching/following/supporting fellow handmakers (especially those still building up their channels) while working on my sewing room as well. I gotta say, you're videos are quite good already for a very young channel.
@@MadeByChinkee Wow! Thank you so much for your kind words! I too love to support and follow fellow handmakers! Let me know when or if you have a channel up so I can check it out! 🥰
They look amazing!!
Thank you Pam! 🥰
Beautiful scrunchies ❤️❤️❤️🥰
Thank you Anju! 🥰
Love the video.. What size do you cut the elastic?
Hi! Thanks! I cut mine between 9 and 10-inches but I also find that it varies just a bit depending on the brand of elastic I have. 🙂 It also depends on what size scrunchie you are making and how you are tying the knot (Single knot versus double knot). I find that 9 1/2-inches is a great size for a standard-sized scrunchie doing a single knot.
You could cut a lot quicker with a rotary cutter, would save you quite a bit of time.
Hi Lynda! Normally I do use a rotary cutter for all my other fabric. And it does save time. However, I find that it frays the satin quite a bit and that the scissors work better for this fabric.
I easily subscribed to this! Whats the size of your scrunchie pattern? I really wanna make my own scrunchies from now on! 😊
Hi Filmer Evangelista! If you’re printing your own fabric via sublimation, then for a standard sized scrunchie, I ultimately cut the two pieces 5” x 14.” I have another video that may be helpful on my channel that goes more in depth: “How to Print a Scrunchie.” Hope that helps.
Do you sell just the fabric that you print. I would love to purchase some .
Hi Sharon! I sell the white satin unprinted but for a limited time. I’m expecting another shipment of the satin in another week (1st week of June) and it can be found on my website Prints N’ Threadz which I gave a link for below in the description. ☺️
@Sew and Print with Julia I would love to buy some with your prints, satin. I don't have a way to print them 😕.
Where did you get the whites cabinet with the doors & drawers😍
Hi Hope! Believe it or not, they are the ClosetMaid storage shelving units. I bought three 4-drawer units for the bottom and then the 3 shelving units for the tops. The doors are sold separately but can attach to the shelving units. I got them on Wayfair. 🥰
What is the measurements of fabric? Please say.
Hello. Before printing the fabric, you are rough cutting the fabric to approximately 6” tall by 15” wide. You’ll need two pieces. Then after pressing the fabric with your design (the fabric will initially shrink a little), I cut it to size at 5” tall by 14” long for both pieces. 🙂
Which fabric you are using?
I’m using 100% polyester satin.
