I have been on Paxil for 25 years now. It really helped me with my Anxiety Disorder and Panic Attacks that I was prescribed for. I have tried many times to get off this drug as I do not think I need it anymore but the withdrawal symptoms were to severe and I have not been able to. Always looking for a better way to get off the Paxil. Thank you for all the wonderful information. 🦋
@@attaullahchanna3365 Constipation was the worst part. I have to really watch what I eat. Lots of Yogurt, Vegetables and Seasonal Fruit. Two capsules of Magnesium BiGlycinate every night before bed. 👍
Ha, have you taken it for 29 yr's? I should have reduced in smaller increments & taken 14 yr's to taper. 1/2 the time I was on it-but I didn't know. Plus everyone reacts different to these neurotoxins.
I was on Paroxetine for 15 years and it helped me so much until it just stopped working. My anxiety and panic attacks came back with full force. My doctor increased my dose from 20mg to 30mg and nothing helped. I've been put on Effexor 150mg for around 3 months. I feel better but not 100% yet. I'm scared that one day the meds will stop working for me
Tolerance sucks. And then it’s really hard swapping meds. Especially with a risk for serotonin syndrome when we mix serotonergic drugs. The cross taper over is super important. I experienced medical malpractice and iatrogenesis and was cold turkeyed off six psych meds at once … klonopin was one of those -_- … prior to that from ages 22-24 I was tried on cocktails totaling to 30 psychotropic drugs (this is the wrong way to treat patients!) ex). 3 drugs, change meds four days in a row, no washout period … it was a disaster… had to reinstate two meds.. updose to stabilize…And I’m almost off everything . I never want any human being to experience what I have…. For me personally the medications and then the withdrawal created actual illness I never had before, and took minor issues of anxiety and ocd to chronic issues. This happens too often in America due to polypharmacy. If there’s hope for me to get better there is for anyone. Our brains do heal. Being on meds is a choice patients should make with their dr having full informed consent. That’s why I love these videos. I was going to become a psychiatrist out of my experience but now I’m signed up for the nursing program and will be a PMHNP. I’ll be able to do all the same things I want to do as a psych. Just under dr supervision. :) you’ll get better!!!
Escitalopram seemed somewhat alike paroxetine, but doesn't make me too sleepy. Desvenlafaxine is the worst to me, one year and not fine, I am today telling my doctor I want to go back to escitalopram, maybe you should try it to replace paroxetine.
it took me 6 years to finally get off from paroxetine. it was so hard, i thought i was gonna die. never experienced anything like that and i've tried many medications. my advice is, don't try it! i started having panic attacks when i lowered my dose
I love paroxetin. I've been on and off it for 17 years. I've tried duloxetine and desvenlafaxin and the best for me is paroxetine. It's the only drug that makes feel better when i need.
I used it for probably two years, then wanted to get off all meds as I was happy again and ready to be free of medicine. The withdrawals were so incredibly bad I almost didn't make it and considered taking it again just to make it stop. I hung in there and got through it, but barely.
Hi there! Are you able to be happy and fuction normally medicine free? I'm very curious since I just got prescribed Paxil, and I only want to use it to help me get better, and then leave it. Are the pros more than the cons or vice versa?
@@luckycamint the withdrawals didn't last long, maybe a couple of weeks I think. It's been a few years now. If I had to do it again, I might try to wean off of it instead of going cold turkey.
I was on Paroxetine (on and off ) for 12 years. It is the only one ISSR class that works for me, other issr or any other classes (ex. MAO don’t work for me. My side effects on Paroxetine: 60 pounds gained in 1 year, as a consequence fatty liver + mild liver fibrosis). I was hungry all the time and I never had the sensation of full stomach . My hypothalamus wasn’t able to control this. Interrupting temporary Paroxetine , I started a healthy lifestyle and I lost some weight and I wasn’t hungry. Still, I have to take Paroxetine due to the fact that i had ptsd after some severe traumas and my sympathetic division is activated at maximum level even for insignificant things. I work in medical field and i understand the risk for Paroxetine but unfortunately there’s no ISSR without side effects. Paroxetine has the worst side effects, that’s true. I take 10 mg instead 20 mg. Lower dose is not so bad.
Long story but I had persistent panic attacks from gabapentin withdraw so I was put on paroxetine! It stopped the panic attacks and the only side effect was hearing the door knocking
I was on this for years as a teen and young adult for GAD and Panic Disoder... About 2001-2008 the sexual dysfunction was horrible (I'm a male btw), it did work for my panic attacks until it diden't! So let me say one thing the withdrawal from PAXIL is intense and very long lasting in my case anyways. Not only did I have a rebound effect with panic attacks I had what I can only describe as Brain Shocks or short-circuiting... Yes it sounds weird but it was a constant on and off thing for about a year and a half AFTER ceaseing all Paxil use! I would NEVER in my life EVER recommend anyone take this unless you have no choice, and even then I would never go on this...
@@LevelheadedMindmy psychiatrist prescribed Control release of paroxetine (25 mg) with Clonezapam at night , just for 10 days. So after that duration , Will I be able to come off of this medicine
@@CandySenette Yes I've been taking it for one year and half now. I have PSTD and yes, I was depressed for 4 months but, of course, I didn't have any suicidal thoughts. Now I am fine
Paxil did save my life when I was thinking of ending it. I struggle with Depression, MDD, PTSD, GAD, and PMDD. I'm so grateful to my doctor for prescribing it to me. when a drug addict goes into withdrawal its so hard and I understand how hard it was until I ran out of Paxil so suddenly. I was tired, had constant migraines, sleep loss, higher hunger, dehydration, feeling parched, sweating so often, shaking, constant muscle twitches, paleness, and very irritable. I was on 40 mgs. ALWAYS stay on your medication, if you want off it TALK with your doctor.
My mum`s body is absolutely sick of these meds. They doesn`t help for depression, maybe a little better appetite and mood, but gives horrible side effects. She used because doctor said she needs to but she got plenty of problems now. And her weight gain plus 30kg.
I gained a few happy years to my life with paroxetine (depression/social anxiety totally gone) until it totally stopped working after 5 years of use. The level of anxiety and other new symptoms were like out of a nightmare, feels like I've lost a half decade just to recover from terrible withdrawal. My biggest grudge is that no doctor ever warned me about the difficulty of withdrawing, funnily no doctor even saw my "new" symptoms as withdrawal symptoms. Would not ever go back on it.
I started taking paxil at 15 years old for social anxiety disorder at 20 mg . I didn't understand why I was getting prescribed an anti depressant when I was really not depressed, I was living in fear everyday, not depressed. I thought that might cause problems and later in life it really did. I went from 20 mg to the maximum dose, 60 mg, later in my life. I am 37 now and In the last year, i very slowly, which is really important if withrawing, went down from 60 mg to 20 mg and I will eventually stop it for good, which I thought I would never be able to do because everytime I tried to quit, it was just getting worse. I tried quitting for years but trying to quit cold turkey or too fast is 1 of the worst nightmares I went through. I also learned that eating and digesting food creates serotonin and a problem that I had for years was eating before I was going to bed, also with only having moved around very little all day, which logicaly made me understand that I wouldn't digest a lot at night, then I wouldn't be hungry during the day so I wouldn't eat during the day, so I wouldn't secrete serotonin during the day, so I would have no energy, I didn't even have the energy to take my shower. Not spending energy during the day made me sleepless at night and eating before going to bed made the cycle keep going. Leave yourself 3 to 4 hours to digest before going to bed is best and whether it's best for you to take your meds earlier or later during the day, the most important is to take them at the same time everyday to avoid an imbalance which is 1 if not the main reason to take ssri's. Taking paxil really helped me, even saved my life. It blocked a lot of my fears but also took away a lot of my emotions which I figured out, had everything to do with my motivation. To me, taking paxil was lifes way of helping me confront my fears and stop me from ruining my life and others with my irresponsible behaviors. I hope with all my heart that my experiences will help you and others. Thank you so much for taking the time to have read my book of a comment lol
hi, thank you for sharing your experience. my doctor prescribed me this bc i have anxiety in sleep and wake up in the middle of the night. these comments saying that its almost imposible to get out of praxil are scaring me 😭😭
Got tinnitus from the very first pill. Pill pusher doctor said it wouldn’t do that. Major coincidence if it didn’t cause it. So I kept taking them for four years. Now years later, I found out it CAN cause tinnitus. My tinnitus is permanent but maybe if the doctor had told me to stop the drug, the tinnitus might not be permanent. I’ll never know. Also, I’ve since heard of someone else who got tinnitus from Paxil. My advice…..try a different antidepressant.

Excellent presentation! I will subscribe, as I found it objective. Great pace, pronunciation and I believe your final assessment was honest. Everyone has biases but we can benefit greatly from distinctions between facts and opinion. The background, lighting, editing and personal appearance are professional enough and your eyes weren’t darting over at a text, though this wouldn’t be a dealbreaker. I recently tapered off a benzo, after 30 years of use, and am lining up for a Paxil taper, after approximately 20 years of use. After quitting alcohol in 2009 and nicotine in 2011 (27 year habit!), I’m confident in my ability to come off a substance. From your video, I just learned that Paxil is offered in liquid form which is wonderful. Only in the past few months have I learned of Paxil’s notorious withdrawal complications. I say bring it on. I also am in no hurry. Though only on 20mg, if it takes a year, so be it. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback. And congratulations on coming off benzos, alcohol and nicotine! I believe you will do fine coming off Paxil as you have the right mindest about it and know what you're getting into. Definitely take it slow and listen to your body as you go down on dosages. If you get the liquid I would decrease by 1 to 2mg every month. Good luck 👍
I’m on Paroxetine right now 50mg as well as propranolol and I’ve been doing just fine. I also take lamotrigine 200mg. It’s the magic combination for me. I guess I’m just built different than everyone else.
I went through a 1 month tapering from 40mg/day Paroxetine to 0. The worst experience. Had terrible headaches and dizziness. I’m back on 1/2 dosage/day and need a much better plan to get off of Paroxetine. I will regroup with my dr. Just wanted to let you know your assessment is spot on.
I've been withdrawing from Paxil for a few years (I've been taking 20mg of it for 25 years - I've been trying to get off it for 15 years). The withdrawal effects are terrible at times. I will ultimately have to stay at 5 mg for now. I can't get through it at the moment :( (I went too fast - I went down 1.25 mg in a month. I stopped there 80 days ago today, but I'm not getting better, in fact I got worse this week). I haven't been able to see my boyfriend for 2 and a half months - I felt so bad. I'm about to lose him. Thanks for the advice to help with weaning. I will ask for that eventually.
Maybe you’re lowering the dosage too soon, try hyperbolic tapering. There’s a great message board called “surviving antidepressants.” So much great information there
I took 40 mg Paxil for 2 years I stopped suddenly because I didn't have enough money to fill my script till I got paid. At the end of the week without taking it I started seeing thing's hearing thing's everyone thought I was on drugs I I took sleeping pills to try and calm down ended up overdosing went to hospital for 3 days then to the nut house for 2 days . It's been 3 years and I still have problems but not seeing anything anymore. Don't stop suddenly like I did
I've being on paroxetine for 7 years, started the process of tapering 3 months ago, from 30mg now 15mg, trying to rewire my brain to function without it. It was a miracle for me when I started (mostly for anxiety but suffered from depression in the past). I hated the brain zaps and other symptoms when I missed a dose, ouch. I hope I can function without it long term. Hopefully don't have to take any of those meds for a while or ever again.
I was on 17 mgs of paxil and I my life long IBS went away. I could never gain weight and I gained weight after 2 years to perfect. I LOVED it! It stopped working after 7 years and nothing else ever worked even a little . I did keep my weight but my IBS is back in full and also anxiety. I would have stayed on it for life if it kept working. Also, I loved the way I thought. I was just plain wonderful until it stopped. I tried to go back on after about 2 years and it didn't work at all the same. Made me feel bad. The MD told me it was not addictive and put me on something else. Stopping Paxil is so bad, you can't believe it. The MD did not believe it was addictive at all. He was and still is wrong.
I’ve been on 30mg Paxil for two years. It helped my depression and now that it has been this long and I have learned more life coping skills, I would like to taper off. I’m always tired and I’ve gained a lot of weight. I’m hoping to lose the weight once I’m off. I won’t go back on it if I get depression again- even in severe depression, I hope to try more intense exercise, diet and therapy. I would really like my brain to try to recover from the stress of depression on its own if possible. Numbing out is helpful for the first few hard episodes of life- but I hope that with age and experience, I have learned some skills that will keep me away from strong meds such as Paxil.
paroxetine changed my life I went from having daily panick attacks to having a life, I been taking it since 2 years and its really hard without it, I dont wanna be on it for the life, But I dont know how will I live without it??!
Paxil is strong. It is very effective mfor mdd with anxiety. The down side. It seems to have the worst sexual amd emotional blunting effects.some weight gain also
My doctor had me on a cocktail of Paxil welbutrin and Remeron and it was absolutely horrible. Not only did I gain an incredible amount of weight but my anxiety and depression got worse. I tried raising my concerns with my doctor but he kept insisting that the drugs would eventually help lessen and the side effects would mellow down. I felt like I and my concerns weren’t being really heard so I got a new doctor and he ended up weaning me off of them. Once off of these meds I felt a million times better.
mitrazapine (remeron as its called in amerrica) made me put on a ridiculous amount of weight as well. i went from having decent tone to stretch marks in a year
I've been off and on Paxil for over 25 years. Never had any problems getting off of it other than mild - common withdrawal effects lasting a few days. Quitting smoking is far worse.
Side affect for me is sexual, sweating, yawning and dizziness , constapation, but mentally I feel better, panic attacks have calmed down, better mood, less alcohol consumption and better sleep.
Paxil saved my life.I have been taking 1 pill for 5 years. I was having panic attacks 5-6 times a day. My life was a complete nightmare. I was going to the hospital emergency every day. Paxil ended my attacks in 1 week.
It worked for me… but now my therapist and I agree I don’t need/want them anymore and my doc doesn’t want to take me off them even though it’s been much more than a year.
I don’t have “Depression “, I do have anxiety , a messed up back , PSA, and other ailments(permanent). My NP wants me to take Paxil because she said the Benzo I take (for GAD AND as an awesome muscle relaxer!!) - her logic is benzodiazepines DIRECTLY cause Dementia AND Alzheimer’s. I call BS. I’m not depressed, my back abd body are in constant pain and disarray…. I’ve tried almost EVERY SSRI and they did not help and made me feel like *hit. Glad to hear many are helped by it. I’m done with SSRIs.
It took me 3 months to get off of it and I still don’t know if some symptoms I have are prolonged side effects. It’s hard but possible to do it. Don’t start paroxetine if you have other options.

Thank you so much for this video. I began Paxil one week ago and cannot sit up without my heart racing. I am lethargic and unable to eat or concentrate. I have an SVT, so I do not believe this was a wise choice. I am tapering off the medication.
I've had withdrawal from Zoloft, Trintillex/Brintillex and Clomipramine. Your telling me there is something worse then going off clomipramine? I've tried most so my last hope is paroxetine, lets hope i don't have to get off it.
@@dejanbozinoski3624 No, that's not the safest way to go. Even a drop of 3mg once can be a tough one to take. Dropping from 10mg to 0mg would ideally take you 6-8 weeks at a safe pace.
I took this medication for most of my life and am coming off it now. The withdrawals are scary. I did have leukopenia (low white blood cells), never knew that was a side effect.
I have been on it for five years. I didn't like how groggy and withdrawn it made me feel at 20 mg so I dropped down to 10 mg. I would like to try getting off of it but my NP didn't seem to want to set me up with the liquid version that can be used to gradually decrease doses. Now I am trying taking it every other day. I have concerns about blood disorders because I have been getting blood clots in my lower legs more frequently. Now you said this drug will bind to platelets and keep them from clotting. Tried so many antidep paroxetin was the best. Good for your circulatory system that it does not cloth blood. All medications targeting CNS has side effects and reported side effects depends on many things - not necesserly true figures when comparing different medications.
I've weaned myself off of Paxil and cold turkey, cold turkey is very rough indeed. and it has had negative effects on my sex life. Currently back on it as I was getting depressed again. I also take Seroquel. Have been diagnosed as Bipolar with General anxiety disorder, and I don't sleep for days if I'm not medicated. But haven't really spent a substantial amount of time talking to a doctor about my condition, just the 10-minute in and outs. haven't been to a psychiatrist, was told to go but haven't.
I'm taking it now and haven't noticed any of those side effects at all. But this is my second time back in 2018 it was given to me but only took it for two months and didn't noticed any problem coming off of them. I hope it's the same when I come off of them next month.
Should I take this medication? I had severe panic disorders. Ended up in the hospital three times but labs were normal. Did a CCTA and that came back normal so I'm cleared with my cardiologist.
I've been on Paroxetine for over 5 years. It worked great but over time the effect has worn off some. I've tried coming off this drug three times and each time the withdrawal was so horrible and long lasting that it was determined to go back to normal dose. I get sick if I miss one dose and trying to come off it caused severe nausea and vomiting, uncontrollable blood pressure increases & sudden drops, severe headaches, dizziness, eratic heart racing, and nearly passing out. I was hospitalized to help and after two weeks the withdrawals had no improvement. I'll never be able to come off this drug.
One friend has the same issues and he got the advice to start training when he started reducing the dosage. And then he was successful in stopping it, despite the fact that he lost 20kg and he looks like a model now 😂
good morning Ms Rahul Kanchi! i am following you for along time. I am a psychiatrist in in a small province in a quite poor country. Now, in my insurance drug warehouse of my psychiatric hospital where I am working, the antidepressants have only amytriptyline, paroxetine, venlafaxin. And my patients only rely on health insurance when treated at the hospital. Can you recommend for my some better ideas for treatment when I need to prescibe the antidepressant ?
My name is Jezel, and Rahul is my editor. However, with such little options I think it's best to look for root causes. Do nutritional evaluations, diet assessments, complete health work ups and fix root causes. Therapy should be first-line treatment as well.
Agree to disagree. There's is benfits of using paxil but everyone takes their own risk if the withdrawal is worth it, and it's still approved medication
SSRI = Risk of impotency due to PSSD Paroxetine may be life saving, but I doubt that it should be first choice for a doctor. There are more safe drugs than SSRI, e.g. NaSSA.
Thank you for this particular information at the end of your video, especially having gotten off of paxil and having extremely bad side effects in the past ,then hearing you say this is one of the worst medications to come off of. I agree, absolutely. Well made video. Your also your smoking hot.
I was put on it at 17. I'm 37 now and really need to quit it. But I've been to a dozen psychiatrists and they all think it's candy. Good candy, just don't forget to pay every month for the recipe. I hear that leaving it is hard but that leaving it slowly is even harder, so I see no way out. I just know that I cannot stay in this prison anymore.
I was on it for 4 years and I also thought it's impossible to get off it, but in the end things did work out. I got into an accident and was in a coma for several days, weeks in hospital so couldn't take my paxils. When I woke back up, I never had those bad withdrawal effects and didn't take it anymore. If you do try to taper it off, I recommend dropping the dosage 2,5mg once every 10-14 days.
I think persons exeperience with all mental antidepressants that determine what is best for everyone regarding scientific data that shows Antidepressants treat major depression in the first place howver. side effect wether is positive or negative depends on our journey. Personally i have experienced all ssri medecine. I figure out Paroxetine does not affect erectile function and sexual drive except ejaculation too fast. No ssri antidepressant do that to erectile dysfunction was the problem of SSRi Antidepressants except paxil. Any way i am alwyas on the of cons and pros to see what is the best that work for my depression journey Stay save patients guys. Evaluate every step of all Antidepressants we are on the way to fight depression. Never understimate treatment with Antidpressants with others tools to fight depression.
When I turned 19 I lost my health insurance. I had one last bottle of Paxil and planned on tapering to get off of it since I no longer had insurance. Well, I ended up losing my bottle of pills and therefore quit Paxil cold turkey. It was horrible, I felt like there were jolts of electricity going through my body and my brain. This lasted about a week or two. I’d feel kinda normal then I’d have a bolt of lightning shoot through my brain. It really sucked. As I look back at that, twenty years later, I wonder if my life was in danger, or if those were seizures.
I'm on paxil at the moment 37.5mg I'm ok I think. The dr did seem a bit hesitant to put me on that right away. I started with zoloft and for some reason I stopped responding to it even with it at 100mg
Well a friend had the same withdrawal symptoms as you describe here but he got the advice from the doctor to start training while withdrawing the medicine (it was antidepressant but I don’t know what was it) and actually it worked and also lost 20kg. Maybe training helps in thyroid gland adaptation? No idea, but he tried three times and the time he started training he has mentioned he did not feel any withdrawal symptom at all…

Hi there! Are you able to be happy and fuction normally medicine free? I'm very curious since I just got prescribed Paxil, and I only want to use it to help me get better, and then leave it.
Are the pros more than the cons or vice versa?
I’m in the same boat as the previous commenter. How many days, weeks, or months did the withdrawals last? I’m hoping to be on it for about a year.
@@LeoneBeats once I got off it, I never used it again, and I'm doing fine now.
It's way better to just go with psylocybin then.
We have a lot in common bro
Me too having 10 mg for last 20 years
Thank you for the comment, I just answered this in our live today!
SSRI?
Thanks for sharing this. I'm glad you were finally able to overcome those withdrawals.
@@LevelheadedMindmy psychiatrist prescribed Control release of paroxetine (25 mg) with Clonezapam at night , just for 10 days.
So after that duration , Will I be able to come off of this medicine
Well, did you stop cold turkey?
@ravenkun84 what do you mean by brain shock and short circuiting plz?
I've been taking it for 6 months now and my heart beats has changed! So I'll for sure be changing medicine
Did it make you depressed before it made you better, my daughter is taking this now
@@CandySenette Yes I've been taking it for one year and half now. I have PSTD and yes, I was depressed for 4 months but, of course, I didn't have any suicidal thoughts. Now I am fine
My heart beat changed as well....how come?
I was on Paroxetine for 15 years and it helped me so much
I gained a few happy years to my life with paroxetine (depression/social anxiety totally gone) until it totally stopped working after 5 years of use.

I’m so glad I found this medication, it’s saved my life 😊
Got tinnitus from the very first pill.
Caused me tinnitus and lose 50% of my hearing and balance
Sounds to me that you are taking this combination for social anxiety?
I was on it for 9 years and then it really started creating problems for me and getting off as a nightmare
propanlol is useless. its a blood pressure medication. does not work at all. it did for me was make me vomit
Yep everyone’s different. Everyone complains about Paxil but it does nothing but positive for me.
There’s a great message board called “surviving antidepressants.” So much great information there
Why are you trying to get off
I took 40 mg Paxil for 2 years I stopped suddenly because I didn't have enough money to fill my script till I got paid.
Love the stuff works great easy to go on and easy to come off! Only one that has worked for me.
Did you gain any weight
Never heard of a 17mg dosage but it helped my IBS too. Mainly bc my IBS all stemmed from anxiety. Calm mind equals a calm gut!
I found it was great for my anxiety, I am looking to get back on it. I never took it for depression.
Trying to get off this after 6 months of use nearly killed me. The withdrawal was nightmarish.
It seems to have the worst sexual amd emotional blunting effects.some weight gain also
Yes, it gives no chance to panic attacks! Now I am trying to go off it and I feel like I am having a flu!!😮
Currently on it. I won’t lie, it does make me sleepy a lot and tapering off of it was roughhhh, but I’d rather be sleepy than severely anxious.
Once again excellent video!! May I ask which medication has more anticholinergic effects, paroxetine or venlafaxine? Thank you!!
Definitely, Paroxetine!
Wellbutrin causes more anxiety in people that suffer from it. You might of had better luck with Paxil extended release on its own.
mitrazapine (remeron as its called in amerrica) made me put on a ridiculous amount of weight as well. i went from having decent tone to stretch marks in a year
I've been off and on Paxil for over 25 years. Never had any problems getting off of it other than mild - common withdrawal effects lasting a few days. Quitting smoking is far worse.
Consider yourself lucky!
Same it’s easy for me to jump on or taper off. Works really good for anxiety makes me more social.

I call BS.
Yes I couldn't go off as I felt I was losing my mind felt far worse than when I started 20 or so years ago 😢
That's a personal decision you have to make. Remember therapy is typically first line treatment so start there if you haven't already.
And then he was successful in stopping it, despite the fact that he lost 20kg and he looks like a model now 😂
I was high as a kite 24 hours after taking the first dose. 6 months later I couldn't concentrate, getting off it landed me in the hospital.
good morning Ms Rahul Kanchi! i am following you for along time.

SSRI = Risk of impotency due to PSSD
Paroxetine may be life saving, but I doubt that it should be first choice for a doctor. There are more safe drugs than SSRI, e.g. NaSSA.

I hear that leaving it is hard but that leaving it slowly is even harder, so I see no way out. I just know that I cannot stay in this prison anymore.
One day at a time. Keep the faith. You can do it.

I got into an accident and was in a coma for several days, weeks in hospital so couldn't take my paxils. When I woke back up, I never had those bad withdrawal effects and didn't take it anymore. Personally i have experienced all ssri medecine. I figure out Paroxetine does not affect erectile function and sexual drive except ejaculation too fast. No ssri antidepressant do that to erectile dysfunction was the problem of SSRi Antidepressants except paxil. Any way i am alwyas on the of cons and pros to see what is the best that work for my depression journey
