Hello there. Firstly, always talk to your psychiatrist about any questions regarding antidepressants because only he/she can give you information you should trust. Now, the ejaculatory disorder is mainly a problem of delayed or in some cases absent ejaculation. After 4 months it should either resolve itself or at least decrease. If not you should contact your psychiatrist and talk about switching medication. In case you want to use it for PE you should also talk to your urologist or your psychiatrist. (paroxetine is used as an off-lable medication for PE so you should consider that when you chose your antidepressant.) Wish you the best.

It's honestly not worth the risk. I'm a psychiatric nurse practitioner and my wife is a nurse in mother baby. If you have to be on an SSRI during pregnancy, you should switch to either Sertraline (Zoloft) or Escitalopram (Lexapro)
@@lucasyoung1968 thank you so much for this information, I'm truly grateful. I'm going to start to wean myself off it. The circumstances that triggered the stress and depression have changed now as I've moved away and I'm anonymous. Nobody knows my address. I'm so much happier. (I was in a very dysfunctional toxic family system) so I'll think I'll be okay. Thank you so much 🙏
@@lucasyoung1968 and forgot to say, I'm not pregnant yet. But I'm starting fertility treatment this summer. With an egg donor, I went through premature menopause at 27. Haven't had much luck, so hope now things start to turn around 😊 thanks again.

Hello, what is the ejaculatory disorder side effect?
Hello there. Firstly, always talk to your psychiatrist about any questions regarding antidepressants because only he/she can give you information you should trust. Now, the ejaculatory disorder is mainly a problem of delayed or in some cases absent ejaculation. After 4 months it should either resolve itself or at least decrease. If not you should contact your psychiatrist and talk about switching medication. In case you want to use it for PE you should also talk to your urologist or your psychiatrist. (paroxetine is used as an off-lable medication for PE so you should consider that when you chose your antidepressant.) Wish you the best.
Knight_of_Toast i think this killed my libido?
@@lmtfa6297 hello thanks for the response. The medication has helped my OCD and PGAD symptoms, (possibly by releasing muscle tension), but I do have delayed ejaculation and loss of sensation. Also I can't masturbate while standing only laying down.

You can’t see sperm with the naked eye. Are you referring to ejaculate?
ssri's will greatly degrade sperm. and damage it.
Your taper schedule is an absolute joke! 6 months sounds much more sane!
you'll never get off this drug. ever. i've tried with doctor's watchful eye. never could get below 5 mg. which is literally cutting a 10 mg pill in half.
What I do for sexual side effects
This is bad stuff...
During my wifes terminal cancer I was perscibed Paroxotine to help me cope.It made me neutral and a walking Zombie. My wife died and then later my son.I hardly batted an eye lid.Do not take it.It is beyond bad.
@@astonmartin4360 did you gain weight? Sorry for the losses you suffered 💔
@@astonmartin4360 Fucking shit, that is... I'm so sorry. I wish the worst upon whoever let this drug hit the shelves. It's known as "the antidepressant from hell" for a reason. My loved one is going through hell because of this drug...
I just started this can you please explain why it’s bad
@@Ryskitt The main bad thing about it is when you're trying to get off of it. Side effects from the withdrawal symptoms are absolutely horrible, especially if you've been on it for a long time. Smaller side effects are said to persist over a year in some people. My girlfriend was dying for the whole month after she stopped it. I advise you to get off of it asap and also change doctors, anyone who would prescribe it to you doesn't do research into the drugs they're administering.
I need to be on it!!!
U get night sweats cuz it affects d hypothalamus, which controls body temperature.
Also vivid dreams, sexual dysfunctions,
