This is my fifth antidepressant to try to combat my crippling anxiety. It's the best ssri by far, but the real effect of it isn't constant. My anxiety is VERY up and down and i have tried doses in 30, 40 and 60mg. 60 gave me so much anxiety that i thought i was going insane. Lowered to 30 and it became better but my anxiety was still up and down like crazy. Just upped it to 40 since 2 days ago and i would love for it to at least give me some sort of stable mood. I've been on it for over 6 months so i'm not switching med again.
I tried to lower to 20 for 4 days but upped it quickly to 30 because the 20 gave me a very heavy knot of anxiety in my stomach. I guess i'll try to lower it to 20 again in the future if 40 don't do the trick and keep me on that dose for a longer time.

I was on this stuff for about 10 years. It worked! I just couldn’t finish during sex and you better hope you don’t have allergies or a cold because any cold medicine will react with this stuff and make you feel like death. Also the withdrawals were brutal. Pretty sure I only survived because I was 17. If I was older I can’t imagine my body taking that punishment. I didn’t realize what happened until years later. I was in bed for what I was told 2 days. Also my sweat was yellow on the sheet. But I’m sure that could have been a reaction with the fabric softener or something

I was put on antidepressants since I was a kid. I absolutely resent them. I have tried probably nearly every one. They have never helped me. I don't think they have any therapeutic value I can't relate to anyone whos said that it saved them. I feel like it fucked up my brain, turned me monotone and difficulty expressing emotion, blunt affect. They do nothing for anxiety either sick of having doctors all through my life tell me to add another antidepressant. The only drug that helps with my severe anxiety is Valium.
