    Hi from California and thanks for the very helpful video. I will use your method for my 10 new small Dragonfruit plants, instead of building a big trellis for each one. PS. Your English is great, thank you!

    Very interesting. First time I had seen this. Question: are there any other advantages besides not needing a top trellis or top support by using this method?

    • @markb8467
      @markb8467 3 года назад +1

      I would say perhaps yes, it is the belief of many that a dragonfruit will begin to flower and fruit once the vine reaches the top of a structure and has leaned over and the stress that the plant has at that point signals to itself that it’s time to think about producing flowers to by tying them down youre perhaps decreasing the amount of branches that won’t fruit because they haven’t been ‘stressed’ enough. Also looks cool as hell

    How do you prepare the soil for in ground planting? Most people recommend planting in containers.

    Is it okay about the nutritional flow to other stem????

    • @htfruitsharing6427
      @htfruitsharing6427  4 года назад

      It should not be affected. The main core is intact. It is widely practiced in Vietnam dragon fruit farm.
