Well done, Andy! I’m really enjoying living these courses vicariously through you. Realities of life will make playing them but a dream. Thank you for giving me a chance to play them with you. I owe ya a beer.
When I was working, thanks to my Marriott Corporate Golf membership I played and stayed at Dalmahoy several times and always had a great time. I seem to remember that it changed hands several years ago and I'm pleased that it is still a Gem👍
Fantastic series, I’ve loved every minute of it. I can’t wait to see more on the channel. I have played Dalmahoy East Course. I’ll be honest it absolutely swallowed me up and spit me out but it certainly did not disappoint. It’s given me the urge to seriously improve my game and I can’t wait to play it again. Although I only live 20 minutes from the resort it certainly provides a 5 star experience.
Ah brilliant.I’m the guy you met and you gave me some golf balls on the 1st tea.I’m glad you enjoyed Dalmahoy and I thought the video you done was brilliant. Cheers🏌🏻♂️
Without a doubt Andy, you produce the best video content on the tube. Their are great video content for teaching, instruction and just fun but yours are the best technical / edited
Another great vlog Andy ,great camera work. Watching your course vlogs makes you want to play the courses that you visit , thank you. Was that a bat out of hell at 10:06 ?
Hi Andy, Great vid as always. Played Dalmahoy many times and always enjoy it. Noticed you missed out 10-12 , which doesn't surprise me, as they are basically a repeat of 1-3. AS you said 13-14 are relatively new holes, and very tough, but not really in keeping with the rest of the course. There was a short par 4 ,risk reward hole down from the clubhouse to beside the lake, a brilliant little hole, and I was very sad when they got rid of it.Couple of other green have been been moved from the original Braid layout, mainly for added length it would seem All in all though a good place for a society meeting.
If I was in the UK, yes Andy, absolutely your vlogs make me want to play those courses. You have featured some stunning courses in this series and I'm envious you have them 'at your doorstep'. Thanks for the dreaming :)
Have played the east course a couple of times Andy. Enjoyed it both times. Tried to play it again a couple of weeks ago with some friends but couldn't get a time.
I realise it’s an old vid And but because of your review we are booked on to play here during our trip up for The Open in July. We are playing on the Monday b4 we head back down if you and or Lew fancy a return knock?
My usual place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. Played it many times and always enjoyable. If you can get an upgrade to the tower rooms then it's worth paying the extra money.
I’m a member at Dalmahoy. West course is a lot shorter but much tighter fairways. The East plays 7000 yards in our medals. When was this filmed by the way?
I am from Manchester but lived in a place called West Calder not far from Dalmahoy. I passed it many times and always thought it looked beautiful and out of my league but was lucky enough to play both courses, even though the East course is a championship course, they are both quality and the staff are fantastic. I felt like a pro, pity my game was far from it. All round one of the best 2 days of my life. For a normal working person to play a course that has had the Solhiem Cup and Senior's Pro events and all for £90 for 2 rounds could not believe I could ever do that.
@@TheAverageGolfer That was about 10 year ago but you can get a round for about £50 now but it was and is worth every penny. I liked the look of Scotsdale where you got fitted especially the villas to relax in later. Keep the content coming it's alway a great watch and thanks for your time.
Played Dalmahoy a few years ago and wont be back due to the attitude of the staff. Most annoying thing was getting told I was not dressed appropriately as I walked in to check in at the pro-shop - had just driven for 2 hours and had my golf attire in a holdall to change into ASAP. Then they charged me more for the round ('full rack rate') despite them telling me a different price when I called to book a tee time. Not the best start to a day.
Another stunner video brilliant ,do wish you could share your trips and enjoy more if you had a playing partner or you happy enough the way your doing , by no way is this a criticism of what your doing because I enjoy the videos alot
@@TheAverageGolfer arh that's great I kad no idea of the set up behind the camera. It's no wonder the quality and true enjoyment in your films when your sharing the experience like you are with your best mate ,wife and family . 8ts another level that comes across when it's all the things that your wanting to do and see not just a job. Really pleased your able to do this
Played the 2 of them Andy liked the east better a played the deer park course at Livingston today and was in more bunkers than rommel never seen bunkers as bad in my life no sand in them you just could not hit out them at all terrible condition

I appreciate you watching them Daid
Thank you for bringing us all your golf adventures in Scotland's less obvious picturesque locations.

I have to agree. Andy’s videos are a class act.
What a beautiful course. Looked like you were really enjoying it out there, Andy.

Will be playing first week of August! Can't wait!
I worked here in the mid 90s when I was backpacking around scotland. Played it a few times. Looms like a few pounds has been spent on it since then.
Scotland has some stunning courses inside their city limits and thank you for the tour.
Andy...Really love your shirt...So, even if you aren't playing well, you are looking good...but you were playing well...Enjoyed it...
Wonderful Andy. Your game looks in very good shape too mate 🏌️👍

No Tower room but still very enjoyable nights play and stay
“For Left”, I only hear that on a James Robinson video! 😉 Very enjoyable watching you play.🏌️♂️
There was a green where that was heading with two players on it!
My mrs just bought me a round here for birthday, course looks really nice. What month did you play this?

As the rhododendrons on the 9th were in flower I am guessing early June?

Just played it yesterday very long for a below average golfer but lovely course. The west is much shorter but again lovely course
Was you at Brigg today pal if not you have a doppelganger :) Another great vid.
Not me Gregg, I was in Chester!
@@TheAverageGolfer Im glad i decided not to say 'hello' :)

Amazing gems in Scotland.

Yes. Played here before. Scarily that was forty years ago. Gulp!
I had a poor round 5 or 6 years ago but enjoyed the course and hotel
