Thats the least of your issues. With how sensitive that descending bed is any obstruction will cause it to fail. Even mechanical like the rails becoming jammed. That whole place is a blackhole for maintenance fees.

@っき The alternative is buying one of those pump-up air beds. Can be plugged in, pumped up, then drained and folded up again easily. Now, they usually take between 5-15 minutes to pump up, but they aren't so bad otherwise. And obviously you may want some spare bedding

I and many of my friends live in small spaces in cities because we want to. Because we only want to take up the space we need. And since we're in the city, we have everything right outside our door. I would easily buy this set up... not as much clutter and I could take up a smaller footprint, spend less on utilities, and everything would have its tidy place.
Cheaper relative to other apartments in the area. That doesn't mean it's necessarily going to be cheap. Especially since these kind of apartments tend to be in the city centres.
