This video blew my mind, I really understand how Linus felt it must be amazing to guide someone like Seth Curry. I've been doing stuff like this a handful of times on discord helping friends abroad with detailed step-by-step explanations. It's still a very hard thing to do even in person. Seth's ability to understand just the concept and go from there by himself are just exceptional even at times where linus was giving him the basic gist. Everything was great one of the best first builds I've seen. Great job at everyone at LTT!

Didn't expect to watch this entire build, but both of them are so wholesome and lovely, it was a pleasure to watch. I'd definitely like to see more celebrity builds like this. Maybe Keanu or Vancouver native Ryan Reynolds builds a PC next?
I like the way Linus involved in his first PC building set up, talking him like a friend, but very professional as well at the same time. He held the conversation very patient, politely, showing interest about Seth's hobbies and always smiling to make his job easier. Good job! I want more videos like this :)!
I meet Seth at a Bevmo one time where I live, super nice guy. Was just waiting in line and noticed him. I'm SO glad Linus asked Seth about what he thinks about how EA tunes/rates the players in the 2K games. I can't imagine what it's like being an athlete and seeing your digital representation rated poorly with bad stats when you know you're better lol.
All top tear athletes have that kind of mindset. Larry Bird was so confident, he'd tell you exactly what he was going to do. Then go and do it exactly how he said.

This was like the exact opposite of watching xQc build his machine. It really does help having an experienced person looking over your shoulder the first time.
It's not just that, Seth knew what questions to ask, is observant, and can look up information himself if need be - he's a smart man. xQc is unfortunately not as mechanically inclined, but also had no help, and had his chat confusing him, and he also tends to jump to conclusions too fast. The key to learning is knowing what questions to ask, and being able to step back and reflect.
This is so unexpected and great. The exchange about height was hilarious. Seth's brother Steph is 6'4" and was dismissed as 'too little' in his scouting report before his draft. Oh man, imagine if Kobe was alive to do this. Dude was so curious that he'd have taken up artisan PC building as a hobby or something. Someone make a Black Mamba themed machine.
@@TheRealSlimShady509 that is short for a NBA guard/wing today, who isn’t athletic like Morant or Mitchell. In the ‘80 & ‘90s the average guard was 6’2” with a 32” vertical. There are other people out there with better scripts, and more complex subject matter to cover. But almost no one can show up and improvise high quality content on a daily basis like Linus.
@@rnf123 Thank you for putting our thoughts into words. People rag on Linus so much, and somehow understandably so. But no matter what people hate him for, whether justifiably or not, the way he got to where he is right now is highly commendable.
@@rnf123 Yeah, I was blown away listening to Linus apologize speech towards that PS5 guy, how he set a trap for nvidia to make them admitted their mistake but at the same time allowing a little room for them escape uninjured and the list goes on.
Good effort to use a period in the first sentence, however in the second you still need one.
Hes been doing it for 12 years so it's just natural
I know the editing makes this look flawless but I bet this was a major pain... Credit to Seth for sticking with it, being patient, etc.
We just need the crossovers where Linus gets taught by other people to do their professions

Seth was already asking the right questions, starting right off with tools. This is a smart and talented man who can make it in any field with some effort.

I love watching people learn new things with enthusiasm. It shows off the bright side of humanity quite well.
Didn't expect to watch this entire build, but both of them are so wholesome and lovely, it was a pleasure to watch. I'd definitely like to see more celebrity builds like this. Maybe Keanu or Vancouver native Ryan Reynolds builds a PC next?
oh god Ryan Reynolds building a PC with a troll to guide him? It'd be a mess, hilarious, but a mess xD

For a first time builder I'm impressed, especially the triple fan radiator... someone needs to design a tray piece that can house a radiator and fans in a fixture that can be easily snapped or slide into a radiator slot... something that can have a quick release for filter access. Great confidence from Seth. This was a lot of fun to follow!
Hopefully this attracts more people to the joys of PC gaming! Really cool video and happy that the dude got to build his first PC without any trouble.
2K games is created by 2K studios. EA makes NBA Live
I bet his brother feels that even more than he does. Seth is a nice player, but Steph randomly sinks half court shots for fun when he’s feeling well. Gamers would rage quit if video game Steph could play in video games as well as in he does in real life.

Well done Linus and Seth.
Seth is awesome. I'm thrilled to know the sixers have him for another two seasons. Great player, and a natural PC builder too. Can't beat it.
This is a crossover we need to help get over the Ben news
Love Seth, he was having fun with this and actually trying to learn, most celebrities would be probably like 'Linus just build me a computer and then send it to me at this address'. Lol.
Much more realistic too. I really dislike the builds that Jay does for celebrities. I wouldn't have those ugly looking cases in my house.
Opened a pack of Panini Select and saw I had a 47/50 Curry, flipped it around and saw it was an autograph too, then realized it said Seth and not Steph... difference between an $8 card and a $2000 card. Watching this video though I appreciate the card much more, he was a good sport!
He seems like a really cool dude to just even hang out with. Such a humble guy. Example to the youth for sure!
Hahaha! Nice, LMG crew! What an opportunity!

@@TheRealSlimShady509 that is short for a NBA guard/wing today, who isn’t athletic like Morant or Mitchell.
