Hi Dr Sarah. I have been following you for a few years. I’m approaching 25 and at some point will be interested in toxin (never had it before). Do you know when the UK will be getting Daxxify? I like the sound of that as it lasts longer and doesn’t use the human serum like other toxins, so no risk of CJD. If / when your clinic gets it, I would love to book an appointment. I’m also dealing with Cystic acne that is leaving scars and the treatment I’m getting prescribed is isotretinoin, but I worry about the side effects side like IBD and Depression. Sadly both autoimmune and mental health issues run in the family, so it would be a risk taking it, but the pitted scarring is horrible to go through, so I am in a quandary about taking it. I think I’d need filler once my acne is under control to re plump the hollows.
No but if it’s your first time I wouldn’t be rushing to have it because what if you don’t like it?! You’re going to be stuck with it!! Regarding the isotretinoin weirdly I felt absolutely fantastic when I was on it, best I have ever felt! I know not the case for everyone but nobody talks about the other wise of the coin!
Great recommendations. Thanks Sarah! I go in maybe once a year and get a little cheek or lip filler. (Very little in my lips.) Recently I got a little botox above my upper lip to lift it a little. I'm amazed at the difference it made! I didn't expect to notice it much but I really do!! I already have a pronounced cupids bow and decent size lips, just felt my upper lip distance to nose was too long and wanted a little more definition along the border of my upper lip. My nurse suggested the botox (instead of filler) and I'm really happy with it. (I go in twice a yr for botox to my masseters due to bad grinding and resulting jaw/facial pain and even tmj disolaction, and I end up deciding to get something small while I'm there. Lol)
Hi yes I do this as well… but functional medicine is a secret interest of mine. I have a masters in integrative medicine from George Washington and I’m doing the Institute of Functional Medicine program so I do more than aesthetics! Although aesthetics is my main thing
Awesomely balanced - also so many people save for a one off mega treatment rather than spending on getting a good base skin care
Very true Dan it's a hierarchy of needs isn't it
Stunning Dr Sarah. A practitioner with Beauty and Brains. Your expertise is admirable. Another difficult and honest topic tackled. Thank you Dr Sarah.
Thanks good to see you!!

The crying shame is the botox there doesn’t last long!
@@DrSarahTonks I saw that! Such a bummer. I guess the more you move the area the shorter it lasts? I think that's why but I'm not sure.
مرحبا..هل الميزو فيلر فعال لشد الوجه واعطاء القليل من الامتلاء؟
Filler can be wonderful for replenishing lost volume but if you have lots of skin laxity then surgery could be much more effective
Started my face lift fund when I turned 21 😂
It’s very good to plan ahead. Compound interest for the win
I wonder where you'd put Profhilo on this list? I've had a course of three and I liked the results, though very subtle.
If you want a global improvement rather than localised I like it but tbh I prefer Revive
Hello Dr. Sarah. As a beauty doctor are you also in charge of prescribing the infamous diabetes medications like Wegovy/Ozempic for weight loss?
