I'm curious as too which unit produces the better picture quality/contrast. The Hisense PL1 or the Hisense C1? They are vitually in the same price point.
I currently have the C1 for testing and so far it’s more a traditional projector. It requires a very dark room and a completely different setup. However, if the environment is right, it has a much more vibrant image.
Hey, thank you for the good review. you mentioned the topic of gaming and said that the reaction time is 38ms. Where did you get this value from? The Hisense website only mentions
Thanks for watching. The measurement was done with a latency test device. It definitely wasn't 100ms though and games were completely playable. I game more than anything else and understand the need for low latency. These devices work well for games. If you're worried about competitive games where you need 1ms, then you'll have a problem. But general gaming works great on both.
@@alibobby33 did you play on playstation 5? If yes you have to change your settings on video settings or in your Projektor settings in video output to 4k 60 fps Resolution just for consoles.
Noone is talking about the fan noise or shows an example how it sounds. You can read from some reviews that the PL1 is relatively loud. It would be nice if you could say something about it or show an example how it sounds.
@@GLITCHEDZAthanks for being honest about the fan noise. I have tried a couple of standard projectors, and returned them because the fan noise bothered me so much. I had thought that perhaps a short-throw, with it being further away from where I’d be seating, would be more palatable, but your review suggests not. I gather a loud film would drown it out, but not all films are Die Hard. I suspect this would annoy me as much as the others I’ve tested.
I would say it has better features but some stuff isn't better too. Like the variable size is better. Nice to have it adjustable from 80-120". But the laser isn't as bright as the L5H. The L5H isn't much brighter either than the Pl1 though.
thanks for the review. i would like to know, what is the main difference between hisense PL1 and PL1 SE?

Is it possible to get 130“ or more from this projector?
No. 120 is the max
100inch screen front of projector has to be how far from wall
does this have rear projection ?
No this is a short-throw so it shoots upwards from the middle.
is it only 60hz at 1080p also?
Yes it does support 1080p 120Hz.
