Thar is no comparison to Jeep Wrangler who has an 80 year old pioneering history. Moreover Thar has tried to copy Jeep in design. I have heard that Jeep has some design copy issues with Mahindra.
Thar advantage is the price. But I don't think any driver who knows both will opt for Thar as a long term investment.
In USA thar is increasing in number , in india thar is literally so much in number wherever yu go you will se a thar . Plus yur comparing 60 lakh car to a 15 lakh car .

Regarding price . Jeep Wrangler is not expensive for US residents. Thar in Bangalore on Road price for Diesel Auto Convertible cost 17.30 so in India Thar Auto is expensive.

bro thats not true, 120% import duty + 30% sales tax, these are direct imported cbu model. In usa jeep wrangler 2 door version starting price is 28,500usd (approx 21lakh). secondly, mahindra is a domestic brand, so labour is cheap and infrastructure is already setup. yes, wrangler has a good quality as compared to thar, mahindra has also done a good job, thar is a value for money product, unless jeep wrangler manufactured in india.
