Cheap sets are a great way to get more parts .So if you want to moc ,you have more to work with . Or if you get into alternate builds .Also polybags can be a great part source . Have you noticed how many subs you have . In 3 weeks ,that number is unheard of . Great job .
A good theme to build small inexpensive sets that don't take up much space is Speed Champions, race cars based on existing vehicles. Even if you're not a car person, they're pretty cool, and look nice on your shelf. Good for the older kids, and a lot of play value too.
[If that's supposed to be a Jeep - the front grill bars are placed wrong: should be vertical!!] I bought my 1st discounted Minecraft set (Skeleton Dungeon) at Walmart mostly for the figures to go with a larger set (The Mine) built from parts I have. It turned out to be more interesting than I thought it would be. Minecraft is a theme I never looked at. My next build-it-with-parts-I-have attempt will be the Star Wars Ewok Village. It's retired. If people are are really paying what sellers are asking they've lost their minds!
Lego set 31140 Magical Unicorn. It is a 3in1 set so you can also build a seahorse or peacock. One of the cheaper sets on the market. Very colourful and a fun build.
Hello. I'm a 62 yo empty nester (recently) and single. I never noticed Lego as a child (oh if only!) -- I was into 12 inch GI Joe and Tonka trucks etc. But in my late30s - mid-40s I became a father of two girls and one boy and through them discovered Lego. I have many sets they've "passed on" to me including "modern vintage" sets, if you will (20 years old now,) but much as with my reading and film-watching I've had trouble following through on these past times. Idk, anxiety , depression, recent multiple heart problems including cardiac arrest, mild neurological and medium arthritis interfering with hand grip and manipulation. Idk why I'm sharing all this, lol. But: chin up and onward! Thanks for your videos.

Thank you, it's been unexpected I assure you. I agree on the cheap way to get parts!

I hope you'll share your MOC of the Ewok village--I'd love to see that!

That looks like a great set--something my granddaughter will love someday! :-)

I'm happy to hear from you--I hope building is enjoyable! Thanks for your comment
Have you check out some Lego Ninjago Sets?
I haven't, but they look really interesting!
I built and collected many Lego sets for almost two years, and I have run out of shelf space and can't display them anymore:)😊
I sense that space is a problem for all of us. I wonder how many people take them apart and rotate new sets through?
