Hey Matt, great videos as always. I'm in the process of putting together a 4 page comic and you've been really helpful in guiding me so thank you very much. I think a really helpful video from you would be something like "What to do when your comic is finished." I'm still confused who or where to go once I've written a script > found an artist > put it all together and have something to share. It would be great to hear your experience once you had your first comic ready and what moves you made with which publishers and perhaps other avenues I'm not yet aware of. Apologies if I've missed a video covering this already. Alternatively, if you could reply with some advice that would be great. Thanks again for all you do. Chris

Well, once you’ve done that first 4pager...make more...learn the craft...look for anthologies that accept submissions and submit....or even do 5 x 4pages and release your own anthology! Print it....sell it...online and at cons start to grow your readership....send it to publishers to introduce yourself...sky is the limit 😉 Thanks so much for watching, I really do appreciate it
Always insightful :) Only thing I'm not sure about it is how is kickstarter counting people who found your pre-launch page through twitter and other channels. Chances are everyone who followed your KS on pre-launch counts as KS traffic, and many of those people may have learned about it through Twitter. Unlikely to affect the KS stats during the deadzone, but the totals are probably underestimating the contributions of external platforms.
I maybe an oddity but, I saw on Twitter when you posted that your campaign was live. When I clicked the link, it opens the safari (yeck!) page on my iPhone. When this occurs, I have to re-login to my kickstarter account. Most of the time I don't do this, instead I just close the window and open the app. The KS app doesn't require me to re-login at the time. Since I was already following you for the leadup to the campaign launch, the app immediately notified me of the campaign without have to search. That's how I ended up pledging. I wonder if KS counts this as a local click-thru since I didn't really come directly from Twitter?
Looking at the dashboard there is a section for people who followed or were signed up for the campaign and it’s counted as that. So you are an oddity and screw all the numbers and analytics up! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
