Bobby Hey man got the same bike you did, asked ya few questions before but with the electrical stuff being exposed and such You have any issues going down gravel roads?? With causing issues ??
So far it’s been a great bike. The wires are insulated I had an issue with hitting the horn so i disconnected it/it’s the same wire as the lights. So that’s unfortunate but i have my head lamp. I taped everything up with electrical tape. the tire guards on it so far have did a good job on deflecting any gravel. Thanks for asking and best of luck this season!
@@bobbysbucks Right on man used it twice nice seems solid for the price point The grabel I was more talking about gravel roads and while it’s on the cargo hauler (dust) coming from wheels

when I looked at it the specs they looked the same. It made me think there was an overstock of white. I just bought the white one and painted it flat black for hunting. Good luck this season!

i talked to my local trek store and they reminded me about parts and maintenance. they fix not Trek bikes and said customer service for some of these e bikes is horrible. make sure what you buy can be serviced locally
I appreciate you sharing. I actually traded in My trek for this bike. It's so much better. If you do have trouble with parts try contacting customer service to send you parts immediately then I personally would attempt to fix it myself using RUclips but I understand not everyone wants to do that. Good luck this season!
Now that I'm Older I stick with 20 foot Ladder tree stand and a crossbow. When I was young I had to have all the gizmos. Our farm is 2 miles south of Darten headquarters and I've never been in the building.
@@Bigbarry20 I still haven't started using apps but my hunting buddies tell me that's where I'm messing up. It's tough to change what's always payed off in the past. Keeping it simple.
I click on all these e-bike hunting videos and no one shows the bike loaded with hunting gear. Maybe a rifle on the handle bars. I would like to see a trailer, pulled by bike, loaded with some standard hunting gear. Blinds, stands, decoys, waders, etc. but a demo of fan actual hunting setup where you take some basic items into public land to hunt. Seeing standard bike reviews does not show me much about your ability to hunt using e-bikes.
If you got hills an ebike with a hub motor will be useless to you. Have to have a mid drive with proper gearing to climb or pull trailer. Thats why most people don’t make vids of this is because the bikes most likely won’t do the the job
I have an ebike and I wanted to warn you against mounting your weapon on the handle bars. At some point in time you will lay the bike down. Plus there’s too much vibration from the terrain. I use a sling for bow and gun. Because your body will absorb the bouncing around
thank you for the warning and taking the time to comment. I’ve used a bow mount for nearly 10 years now, i’m in my 3rd mount. So far haven’t laid it 🤞🏻down( probably cuz i ride slowly) and in order to get off my bike, I carefully lay it down sideways (cuz I can’t swing my leg over my pack on the back) but -your rifle should be able to absorb bounces, as well as recoil it helps me to ride off the seat when going over rough terrain. Hey good luck this season !
Always be cautious before squeezing any trigger. I assume you’re referring to hunters that would mistake you for a moving deer? E bikes aren’t legal on public hunting ground in Michigan. But Bicycles have always been legal to use on public land in Michigan but You must wear blaze orange during firearm season. Surprisingly there’s still hunters that don’t or wear very little and for those that don’t are really underestimating the risks. ruclips.net/video/KCdlLunGWqM/видео.htmlfeature=shared
This bike will do the same thing as a Quiet Kat, Bakcou, Rambo etc... for $3 to $4k less!!! Great video, thanks!
So glad you enjoyed it. Good luck this season!
I love my Birchhunters Grolar dual motor for bow hunting, its a beast
birchhunters are a bit steep. About 3x the price you’d pay for this one. Thanks for sharing.

Can you get a spare battery just in case?
you can, but they’re heavy and quite expensive
Any update on this bike? How is it holding up?? Looking to buy one
it’s hanging in there
Good bike for private land
@@bobbysbuckswhy not public?
@StealthTRD not sure what his answer is, but this bike has a 1,000 watt motor, most public areas limit you to 750
Can you te me what state your referring to that allows 750watt e-bikes on public hunting land?
Thanks!

We sure have made hunting expensive and complicated. I remember my Darton recurve and my dad's long bowl.
You said it! With so many gadgets, apps and do-hickeys it's a bit overwhelming.
Thanks for watching!

I'm afraid one of these would be a major hunting accident in the making. Just saying use with caution.
