People give conflicting ideas. I am going to buy the game and not sure if I want to start with the fighter or now the thief. I don't want archer since I got burnt on it in MH Iceborne. I will give it to one of the pawns. But thief really seems like what I should do. Dual blades. Maybe I can get the bug and play them in Sunbreak...hehehe...Watching videos, can't decide...but the Thief looks very strong. I would like you to discuss the fighter as well. Please!
I avoided the thief for a while but found it to be one of the strongest vocations
i love it, it's really strong for sure. especially for climbing monsters, it's insane the damage thief can do to weak points!

you need formless feint for pyre
Formless feint is just easy mode. If you have a high level you have so much stamina that it makes you basically invincible

No matter what vocation you decide on, I would suggest getting fighter to vocation level 6 for Thew.
