    Isaiah 1.4 (KJV)
4Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.

How is Yah pronounced in Hebrew? The shortened version of God's name? Is it ye or yo or ya?

The enemies of Jehovah claim that his name is wrong because those are the vowels of Adonai. But there is a small problem with this assumption which refutes this whole statement. In Hebrew grammar rules it works like this: There are different vowels which are placed under certain consonants. There are so-called Chataph vowels: Chataph-Seggol, Chataph-Patach, Chataph-Qamäz. However, these can only be placed under the four consonants Aleph, He, Chet, or Ayin, but not under a Yodh, which is the first consonant of the name of God. The second and third vowels are the same in the name of God and in Adonai, but the first vowel of Adonai is a Chataph-Patach, which cannot be placed under a Yodh. Under the Yodh in the name of God is a Schwa. A patach, qamaez, sere, seggol, chiriq, cholam, and qubbuz can also be placed under a yodh, but as mentioned, no chataph vowels. So if God's name has the same vowels as Adonai, why didn't they make the chataph-patach a patach, but a schwa instead? This already shows that the first vowels of Adonai and the name of God are two different vowels, and not the same. And if you say Adonai anyway, and not the name of God, why should you follow the grammar rules? OK, let's assume that the Masoretes really did follow the grammar rules, but strangely made a chataph-patach a schwa instead of a patach. Why then, are there places where they put the vowels of Elohim in the name of God? The first vowel of Elohim is a chataph-seggol. It shouldn't be placed under a yodh, but was inserted anyway. Why did the Masoretes follow the grammar rules for the vowels of Adonai, but didn't care about Elohim? This makes no sense, except for one logical explanation: Jehovah is really the name of God, as the theophoric names say, all of which begin with Jeho-. So this makes it 100% clear that God's name is Jehovah. So Yahweh is false, and an idol.

    Brilliant video- new subscriber.
I came across your channel because I am learning Hebrew and at the moment I am looking for answers about the 'sacred name' stuff that's going around with 'Yahuah', 'Yahushua' and even that Japanese/Philippine sounding Yahewizashi!!! or whatever it is. Now I also follow Nehemiah Gordon's channel and he makes it clear that Yah is NEVER used as a prefix, but it becomes Yeho, while Yah is a suffix. Am I correct in assuming this is elementary Hebrew grammar and knowledge?
It seems to me, and correct me if I am wrong, that the YHVH was initially and incorrectly translated to 'Yahweh', when it should be 'Yehovah', and western people with zero knowledge of Hebrew and grammar ignorantly run with it. And the 'scared namers' - who again have next to no knowledge of Hebrew think they have some ultra-spiritual knowledge and then everything is prefixed Yah - which again is totally incorrect.
I am wanting to at minimum read Hebrew so I can read Yehovah's word in it's original tongue. I am just trying to sort out the politics and sensationalism from the truth. Thanks mate.

Thank you so much for linking this to me.
In my unscholarly ignorance I would like to make an observation. In this video it is really deconstructionism of the name YHVH, and is solely focused on that. However in light of how other Hebrew names seem to follow a pattern of Yeho- generally as a prefix, and yah- or derivative on the suffix, would this not also holistically provide a very strong case that the pronunciation is Yehovah? I am just not seeing Hebrew names beginning with Yah- is not the name of YHVH the foundation of all those Hebrew names? I'm trying to see the Hebrew in context.
Not trying to be divisive. Just aiming for truth mainly for personal edification and my own journey. Thanks mate :)

If Isaiah is YaSHA-Yahu, why is Joshua YahuSHUA instead of YahuSHA since the former is just twice and the latter is 216 times?
Isaiah's name in Hebrew YaSHA-Yahu has the same won't words with Joshua in Hebrew hence YehuSha must be the correct instead of the "shua".
You shall not take the name of YHWH in vain(Shua). What do you think?

It refers to the YH. Yod hey.
The sound is Yeh when's it's at the start of the word and the sound is yah when it's at the end of the word.
      Yehova Jehovah is correct
      Yahweh is not
Yehoshua has YH. The agreed upon spelling of Yeshua as ישוע Yod sheen vav ayin was due to the Aramaic contraction of yehoshua at the time of the new testament.
Spelling aside, phonetically Yeshua has a yod heh prefix and has could possibly have a H on the end without a yod.
Same applies to the 'esoteric' יהשוה YHSHWH pentagrammaton which some say is a more accurate and complete name above all names.

If you think that Yahu - Sha works then you would be proven wrong
      Yasha becomes Shua
Otherwise the name would be Yahu-Yasha
      Sha has literally 0 meaning
Only one name you can use for it
Elisha but that comes from Elishua
Sha has been used in names and only has bad meanings like Birsha - Resha - Rasha
All of those names have something wicked
      On the other part (Shua)
Elishua, Abishua, Melchishua, Yehoshua/Yahushua and both versions of Yeshua
Yeshua is a shortened version of Yehoshua/Yahushua
Shua means to cry out for help or wealth and riches.
The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles. Psalms 34:17
Wealth and riches are in their houses, and their righteousness endures forever. Psalms 112:3
Yahushua or Yehoshua could mean “He who cries out for Help to יהוה”
      Or “יהוה is wealth, riches”
      Or ״יהוה is salvation”
The shorter spelling due to the vowels used is still Yahushua/Yehoshua ❤
Long form Yahushua/Yehoshua short form Yashua/Yeshua.
      Shalom ❤

You have an Indian accent, perhaps a South Indian accent.
I'm from India and learning to read the Hebrew script. this video on theophoric names was interesting. John, Jan, Ian, Ivan and Arabic Yahya are derived from Yohanan itself an abridged version of Yehohanan YHWH is gracious.

Yehoshua is Yehovah that’s why there is no other that saves!
My older brother please know that Yehovah is the son that all things were created by and through.
Yehovah Elohim is the Ruach and the son Echad!
In Corinthians which I know you don’t read but Shaul tells us that NOW Yehovah is the spirit(Ruach) cause we have the son Yehoshua as the flesh form.
This is how Elohim rained down fire from Elohim for the Abba and son carried the same name Yehovah Elohim.
I come in my Abbas name(Yeho) and you do not accept me, but another shall come in his own name(Jesus/antimessia) and you shall accept him.
The world has lost the one true name(Yehovah)!
Even Shaul was told to be immersed and call on the name Yehovah!
For if we follow the example Yehoshua gave then through our faith the works(Torah observance) shall be made known!
The lawless Jesus is NOT the salvation of Yehovah but Yehoshua is Yehovah saves..
Thank you for helping me show the Hebrew meanings of the name associated with the Messiah to help others see how lord and god and jesus have confused the world and caused your people to despise the Way Yehoshua left for us all!
I am the Way, follow my example..
I am the truth, Torah is truth!
I am the life, those who believe in Me and follow my example shall have eternal life with Me!
The true Messiah would NOT abandon His eternal Word(Torah)!
    Shalom my older brother!!
