My 620 Magenta just flipped out; I've had this printer FOREVER and it's awesome and want to keep it going. I found this video and now I'm ready to get it working again! Thank you for this tutorial!
I had a new cartridge wouldn't print. Did all the head cleaning jazz on the machine and with the fluid. Nuttin. I tried 2 other same cartridges.. nuttin. As I removed the ink cartridge I saw something I hadn't thought of. The contact plate on the cartridge that hits the controlling contacts on the printer caught my eye and I took a pencil and used the eraser to brighten and clean them! Voila! It dawned on me I hadn't had a call for a magenta cartridge in forever so the contact plates were oxidized. Who knows how long they sat in the warehouse before that! Hope that helps others!
I attempted to clean my printer… it will now not power on. It would just keep starting up and wouldn’t do anything so I tried to restart it and now it won’t power on. I head a faint click noise when I press the power button. Know anything about that?
Hi. I think you said here that the print heads have to have dried before you re-run head cleaning (and ?nozzle checks). How long does that drying process take and can it be sped up? Thanks
@@BestPrinters What happens if you don't wait? I accidentally replaced them immediately after just drying it with a paper towel. Now my printer is freaking out

Is it necessary to heat the liquid to be able to apply?
Awesome! Heating the liquid is only necessary if the liquid is not pushing through unheated.
Hi I have a question, how would I know when it’s cleaned enough to stop using the cleaning kit?
Run again the testing, then if all the color lines not break then you stop.
How do I move my inks to position them ready for replacement
There should be an option that says replace ink cartridges on the home screen.
