Thank you, this procedure worked really well. The only thing I did different was I made own solution and of 4 drops of dish soap, Isopropyl alcohol and distilled water, flushed all the jets 3 times and did one final rinse with just water changing out the paper towel every time. Then ran through the built in head cleaning procedure twice and the nozzle alignment twice, because the first nozzle adjustment sample was almost not readable. After putting in random nozzle adjustments on the printer, I cleaned the heads a second time and performed the nozzle alignment procedure again. every thing worked like the printer was brand new. Bottom line is if this procedure doesn’t exactly work after the first try, repeat the procedure because the built up ink residue may have not been removed yet and may take more cleaning cycles than just one.😊

It Worked!!! All 4 nozzles were plugged. Warming the solution definitely helped. I had to run the deep head cleaning 3 times afterwards as well, but my Nozzle Check is finally normal!! Thank you!

It worked!! thank you! I got my printer for $10 at the goodwill. I clean out each printer head twice, letting it sit for a couple hours between each cleaning and ran the clean head program after each rinse and viola! thanks a million!
Fantastic! Goodwill printers are a great option I am glad you went that route. That is actually how this channel started from printers I bought at Goodwill.

Thanks-a helpful video, and I finally unclogged my XP-342 head. The vocal tic became a tad tedious, though. After we were told to _...go ahead and...,_ *eighteen times,* I was tempted to go into reverse just out of spite.

Do you know if photocake inks can be cleared the same way? Very helpful video! Can't wait to see if this helps ours. The ink cartridges were all manufactured in 2015-2016.. so badly maintained
Yes, it is similar to regular ink so it would be the same process.
Would this help if the printer won't feed in the paper correctly? It seems like some of the tiny black rollers aren't working.

I performed the head cleaning and ran a nozzle check, then my XP 340 turned off and will not come on again. Any suggestions?
I can’t bypass the error message that pops up as soon as I turn my printer on...Printer Mode..Ink out Error, Retry set I/C, I bought new ink and same message...is there a way to bypass this message?
Thank you for this. Do you need to put the entire syringe (filled) into the nozzle I'm cleaning or just until it "Breaks Free" and flows better?
Really only until it breaks free but I would use the entire syringe for good measure. It really doesnt hurt to use more.

Hello, your video was really clear and instructions were simple( although I did notice that when I ordered the cleaner kit, it mentions that you should let your printer dry out for 24 hours before using, which does not show in this video). I followed the instructions to the T and still no results. My ink levels are all high but when I try to print it only prints very, very, very faintly. LOL!! Not sure what to do next. After the cleaning BTW, the papertowel was discolored (significantly) with ink, so I though my problem was solved but apparently not. Any ideas?
Thank you for the comment. So you will need to use the kit multiple times until the color returns. Yes, you will want to wait 24 hours this will reduce the possibility of damage.

You need a special usb called a-b cable to connect to a printer.
I followed your video instructions with the same print head cleaning. Before only my yellow was not working, now the yellow is working but the Black ink isn't at all. Is there something I have messed up?
That is common many times when you clean one color, another color will go out because the cleaning sometimes will spread to other colors. There's nothing wrong just make sure to use deep cleaning for the color to return. You can find the deep cleaning settings within your maintenance.
This kind of helped. I used the whole bottle. Pages were coming out blank. After doing the nozzle check, yellow and magenta was present. I tried making a copy of soemthing and it printed. But not completely. Kept doing nozzle check and those colors went away and black was present. It just kept doing that; colors present but then goes away. I'm still having trouble though.

My.print heads arnt circle like i keep seeing in these videos, mine are oval in shape and much larger.
Are you aware of any kits that cater for oval heads?

Same problem here, (XP-520). Large ovals with some sort of membrane. Perhaps we could use an empty cartridge, drill a hole in it, and inject directly into the cartridge, building the pressure to flush everything out.
i did this but now when I turn the printer on it immediately says it cant recognize the ink cartridges
I have the 440 and this issue is an annoyance, I only used this printer once or twice and always am getting the cartridge error even after purchasing a new one.

Cleaned my print head and now my printer won't turn back on.. what did I do wrong??? And yes I plugged it back in and tried a different outlet.

Same problem. Used solution to clean heads then ran nozzle check and then printer lost power. Still trying to fix it.
Anyone done this and not been able to get ANY of the 4 colors of ink to come out onto the paper? I have FOUR XP series printers and can't get either of them to output any ink even though I can clearly see that the ink clogs are running through to the paper towel. Is it possible a lot of these XP series printers have been bricked from firmware update?
After doing this cleaning also run a printhead cleaning, that will push the ink back into the system.
@@BestPrinters I've done multiple nozzle cleaning and head cleaning after injecting cleaning solution on these four XP printers, and I've even let them sit for days to weeks, and none of them will print one single pixel of ink on the page. My question was what you would do if you still can't get ink to be printed on the page?
I know the print heads aren't clogged on these XP printers because the solution runs through them easily, and I am catching the 4 different colors of ink on the napkins beneath the carriage.

@@rachaelfae9547 unfortunately, no... I now have a heap of 6 of these and all have the exact same issue. Something bricked their ability to print even though ink runs through them nicely

Hi, unfortunately if you now have an error code you will need to purchase a new printer and ask for a refund for the cleaning kit.

If it doesnt repond to print requests that is a problem that you wont be able to solve alone.
I have followed your guide with my epson 61000 and i got the inks to work again but after performing a proper print i got an error 033006 and now my motherboard is fried xD
Did you let the printer dry for 24 hours, if you used my product, it would state that in the instructions.
Did all this and now says Error ! Sad

I tried doing this and only was able to get the blue to work. I honestly think its the ink. You can always use a sewing needle to poke through to see if its clogged to begin with. I think the ink I have been receiving is faulty the black is never full. I tried everything. I think my issue with these printers is the ink just vanishes if your printer isnt being used. I am just at the point of ordering a new printer.
If you are unsatisfied and feel you have put too much into it. I would reccomend getting a new printer.
@@BestPrinters I did! It was actually the ink from amazon, which was name brand and new, the plastic on the cart broke my black ink slot.

I missed out mentioning, I've replaced the supposed "empty" catridges.. not printing anything.. empty pages..

i hate this printer so much lol, it takes so much ink in so little time.
I’ve lost faith in Epson. My printer and the one before, has faulted. Makes sense why so many used epson printers are for sale on marketplace and Craigslist lol. They do not make good printers for the masses. For commercial printing sure they are great. But everyday use printers are a scam by Epson.

Yes but you will potentially save the cost of the ink you just purchased and the new printer as well as any extra ink you need for the new printer. This is the best option. It is annoying but you are not alone many thousands of people have the same problem.
Were you selling these things as enemas before you started breaking peoples printers?
listen up folks, make sure the paper type on your computer is glossy and also on the printer, choose matte for deeper colors. Let the printer maintain itself, this will break your printer.
And probably people should only buy genuine Epson ink too????? These printer and ink companies are a scam. These fixes help people avoid being scammed by the printer/ink companies.
