    //FAQs??
    -How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
    This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
    This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
    -How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
    Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
    This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
    -How much yarn do I need?
    Unfortunately, I will be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.

    I don’t think leaving cut offs out for birds is good for them - the fibres can get tangled on baby birds and injure them.

    I save the off cuts and ends to use as stuffing for more projects. You can either keep the strands in one piece or brush them out to make the pieces of yarn more fluffy for stuffing ^^ either way it’s a nice way to reduce yarn waste!

    Hi, the other day (I can’t remember when) I think you posted a tutorial on Facebook for a stitch that looked just like this: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx but I cannot find it anywhere now and I’m desperate to give it a go!! Can you please help? Many thanks!

      Hi Hannah I'm not really sure which stitch you mean but it could be the camel stitch which can be found here:- ruclips.net/video/F1_HlaZpmL4/видео.html hope this helps :)

      Bella Coco hiya, thanks for getting back to me. No it wasn’t camel stitch, it was like loads of tiny little “x” really close together xxxx. Perhaps it was another Facebook crochet group that posted it, sorry!

    Please DO NOT leave yarn ends for birds. It is very dangerous for them. Could fray and get caught around their feet. Really surprised you suggested that!

    • @sammyjotaylor690
      @sammyjotaylor690 4 года назад

      Nicola Dodd. She didn’t suggest that 🤷🏻‍♀️ she asked what people do and what she’s heard people do with them and then asked for people to let her know what they do with there’s!

      Nicola Dodd. Sammyjo is correct Nicola. I didn’t suggest that people should do it. I said that I had seen people going it and asked how they did it and If it was good for them. I’ve since found an article explaining what’s good for birds and what’s not so I’ll be posting it on my community tab later. X

    ORTS - scraps

  • @MinxBaggins
    @MinxBaggins 4 года назад

    Please do not leave man-made fibre ends out for birds - it isn't great for them if indigested and really bad for the environment as they don't break down. Overall I can't imagine it's a great idea. Suggest you check with the RSPB and get a statement from them before recommending on people's suggestions.

    • @bellacococrochet

      MinxBaggins most people have said no to be honest. I found a great article today which explained what is safe and what isn’t for birds. I posted on my Instagram but I’ll also post on the community page here later today. The biggest/best suggestions were to use the scraps as stuffing x
