So good of you to talk about an issue that is too often not recognised as a serious mental and physical condition. My daughter has suffered with anxiety since her mid teens, some days are worse than others, but it is definitely a whole body condition for her. We have had to compile a list of coping strategies, but the pandemic has been a huge problem for her. I actually taught her to crochet a granny blanket at the start of the first lockdown and this has now become one of her go-to, self-soothing activities. I wish you well with your pregnancy, stay safe and keep sharing your joy 🧶🌼

When my kids were babies, I had the same anxiety that was absolutely effecting me physically too. I thought for sure I had anemia too! I couldn't eat, no energy, felt sickly, sore, awful. Thankfully it has lifted and I only experience it on a much smaller scale now. Hang in there!
I bought book after book after book to try to learn to crochet and I could not get it😥 then I found you, your voice seemed so patient, your teaching technique I started with your learn to crochet , and I did all the little square samples then I made my very first project, the granny triangle you put up I made a large shawl. Once you understand that your symptoms, physical and mental, are anxiety related, you can accept them which helps you to stop worrying about the symptoms. Breathing techniques can also be a game changer. Good luck 🤞🏻

I missed your insta video at the time and just watched it now. So sorry to know that you've been struggling. You work so hard and give everything to your craft and family - you're honestly like a superwoman in my eyes! And yet anxiety can still come crushing down and make you feel lost when you feel you have it all. As someone who's had anxiety for years I can't pretend I've got a great handle on it, but i'm in a far brighter place since I shared how I was feeling with more people, so you absolutely did the right thing letting your followers in on your anxiety. Daily walks alone to let my restless, chattering mind run out of steam and spending as much quality time as poss with loved ones have been the best remedies in my expeience, and remebering that it's okay to say no to things when you're overhwelmed. Bless your heart! I will pray for you! I'm retired and so is my husband, but at the beginning of the pandemic, I felt anxious and concerned; but I turned to Jesus and gave it all up to the Lord. He has gotten me through so much and He will help you too. I am grateful to Him for the technology we have and that I found your videos to help me renew my passion for crochet which also helps me relax and concentrate on others (because the majority of my makes are for others), and that in and of itself makes me feel good. about your anxiety. do you do any other craft besides crochet? when my anxiety kicks in and I'm not immobilised by it I've found paper crafting a good way of redirecting my thoughts. Someone told me once that a piece of paper can't be folded in on itself more than 8 times . so I start with that and try to fold it 9 times. or Using stickers in your diary is fun, there are loads out there and I love searching for them online. Also, kiddies love stickers so its a joint fun thing to do. Give Ella a diary so she can copy what you do. I love what you do, but I'd rather miss months on end so that you came back refreshed and well in yourself than see you burn up. you could always do a throwback day where you reupload a video from the past. Please look after yourself chick, take up meditation too it works like a charm if you practice daily, find a youtube meditation video you like and do it at the same time everyday, you'll soon start to relax the second you hear the music.

Bless your heart! I will pray for you! I'm retired and so is my husband, but at the beginning of the pandemic, I felt anxious and concerned; but I turned to Jesus and gave it all up to the Lord. He has gotten me through so much and He will help you too. I am grateful to Him for the technology we have and that I found your videos to help me renew my passion for crochet which also helps me relax and concentrate on others (because the majority of my makes are for others), and that in and of itself makes me feel good. about your anxiety. do you do any other craft besides crochet? when my anxiety kicks in and I'm not immobilised by it I've found paper crafting a good way of redirecting my thoughts. Someone told me once that a piece of paper can't be folded in on itself more than 8 times . so I start with that and try to fold it 9 times. or Using stickers in your diary is fun, there are loads out there and I love searching for them online. Also, kiddies love stickers so its a joint fun thing to do. Give Ella a diary so she can copy what you do. I love what you do, but I'd rather miss months on end so that you came back refreshed and well in yourself than see you burn up. you could always do a throwback day where you reupload a video from the past. Please look after yourself chick, take up meditation too it works like a charm if you practice daily, find a youtube meditation video you like and do it at the same time everyday, you'll soon start to relax the second you hear the music.
