As far as I'm aware, if copyrighted music is used in a "transformative" way, then legally it falls under Fair Use and therefore is legal to use. I'd imagine a symphony reorchestration of the original soundtrack for Twilight Princess would be considered a "transformative use."

Musical covers like Twilight Symphony are not protected under Fair Use due to using the entirety of a protected work (the melody, soul of the piece) in a limited transformative nature (arrangements closely adhering to the original). Truly transformative music covers are considered derivative works and require a separate licensing process.
Because for some reason Nintendo thinks that North America and the rest of the world doesn't need access to the great songs that they made in games. Make it only available in Japan. Even if it means that they are literally losing money.
It's such a shame almost half of the original masterpiece is gone... I used to study and work on my dissertation listening to your incredible work, and now I feel a part of me is missing. Hopefully you can get the rest of the tracks back online someday....
In the description it states that they’ve remastered the other half and are saving them for a “rainy day”, so we’ll likely get the remaining tracks within a year. Within a few months, hopefully.

Same! When I listen to this part so many emotions swell up. Triumph, courage stand forefront, but more than that I feel a sense of home and friends. I can see link peering into the darkness, the most evil and corrupt things before him, but none of that matters because he's doing all of this for those he cares about and from that the greatest courage comes forth within him.

I am so grateful to the creators of this amazing album, especially for what it was in its full form. I feel so lucky to have been able to hear it in full for so long. This, and Time's End I and II by Theophany, are true works of art and are precious nostalgia gems.
I would kill to have the missing remastered tracks. This is some of my favorite studying music. Nintendo makes great games but their corporate decisions are impossible to defend.

Please don't reupload songs from ZREO that they can't legally re-release. Part of the rules of getting this selections up is to take down all of the other songs that are not legal in copyright laws yet.
When I got married (14 years ago) l replaced the traditional Bridal March with Zreo's cover of Zelda's Theme. Since then I have put all 4 of my babies to sleep listening to their work.

Hey Jacob! It was mostly the boss and battle tracks. Nintendo never released any of those on any American OSTs, and since they were all unique, they all had to be licensed on their own. Shame, we hope it changes one day.. 🫂

Fortunately, I downloaded all the songs I liked before then (Its in an archive that will probably exist as long as I live). No one should own music enough to have it removed. Take a cut if it earns some rupees but if it doesn't earn money i just dont see the harm in it. Nintendo itself is the real final villain for the series. What a twist!
this might be the best pure zelda soundtrack ever. I mean I love BOTW and most of Wind Waker but BOTW was pretty experimental in a lot of ways.. and even though it does have some of my favorite zelda songs.. this soundtrack feels more like a traditional zelda game

Ganon's Exile is a total masterpiece. Sounds like Bloodborne took that track as inspiration.
