I wish I could erase my memory so I could replay this game again for the first time.

@@VendErre Perhaps they had a very meaningful experience that we can't or haven't yet related with? I'm sure there are moments in your life you'd like to relive, or will one day. :)
Your comment certainly peaks my interest in this game I've never heard of.
@@OurVirtualTime Think classic Zelda but with a touch of combat and level design from Dark Souls
@@Badmunky64 I’ve never played Zelda or dark souls….have played Elden Ring though. 😇
Wow. Easily one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard.
check out Lifeformed other work, its fantastic! The Dustforce OST is a gem
try ori soundtracks :)
Started playing this last night and knew from the first level theme I was in for something special.
Thats exactly how I felt
Wow, and here I am, a stranger 5 months later in the exact same situation. Just loaded this game up last night and am already here listening to the soundtrack, it really is special
I'm currently replaying TUNIC in new game plus and i cant believe how absolutely incredible this game and its soundtrack is. I wish more people knew about TUNIC because its so amazing and not enough people have played it.
As a 2d zelda fan idk how more people weren't drawn to this game. Maybe the innocent fox character threw them off?

Tunic already feels like a nostalgie.
True. Something about the music and the game…it feels like a distant memory.
@@thespeedyyoshiit reminds me a lot of zelda ocarina of time
I speak as a music composer & producer myself this OST is Legendary Perfection. This is music to touch & move the soul. I love it & will buy the game for me & my friends to show my support. Bless you
It is okay, tho at times it feels like music that would be played when you are getting a massage or meditating. It is very generic, obviously a few levels under Zelda. It is a good game, but the soundtrack it is pretty simple.
@@jamesellis33 you dont know anything about music to saying that lol
@@jamesellis33 Major disagree. You can hear the layers of passion in the OST. It's a perfect mix of chillwave and ambience and we may not get something of this caliber again for a long time.
I'm seriously calling it now, OST of the year
@@DoctorSwellman Agreed.
This music literally pulls at my heartstrings it's just so beautiful and it just amazes me how good the music goes so well with the style of this magnificent game.
10/10 masterpiece.
I don't know why but this game literally pulls on my heart strings and I love this game very much.
The music is just beautiful and the art of the game amazing.
For me it was how it slowly drip-feeds you information. I have been dying to get any of my friends to play the game so I can just unload about my thoughts and feelings on the latter half of the game. Quarry on forward was where things really started to get dark, and my god that cute little nest of islands has some grim secrets. The game did a great job introducing you to a silly innocent little adventure at the start, then took the training wheels off to show what was really happening. I still feel bad about the Vault and the Cathedral.
Hopefully not literally
@@FurryWrecker911That's exactly why I love this game too. It does the slow drip feeding of game mechanics/other revelations so well. I don't think any other game has such good game design in that sense. Everything is in front of you with the manual pages. It's up to you to find the golden path and piece it all together, the game makes you feel like you're truly uncovering secrets. I respect and adore that so much about it
@@Mr.RobotG I have never said "Fuck you" to a game so much in an endearing way. You start scratching away at what seems like a simple puzzle, and it reveals a whole layer to the worldbuilding that you didn't even realize was there. Like, the epiphany moment that I had when I figured out the trick behind the door (you know the one) was absurd, and this game is full of moments like this. The puzzle answers are so simple, yet so cryptic.
1:07:45 "Forget to Forget" is an unforgettable song.
Well ,"Remember to remember" and "Forget to forget" are both liet motif of "Memories of memories" - so of corrse they are all brilliant.
BuT hOw Is It uNfOrGeTtAbLe If It SaYs FoRgEt TwO tImEs In ItS oWn NaMe??????
@@thatmagichatguy8761 if you forget to forget that means you haven't forgotten because you forgot to forget
5 years of waiting, finally.
I think Ghost Field at 1:54:16 is my favorite on here. It is so fittingly haunting. That piano sounds so lonely and forgetful, as ghosts can be memories of things lost, and not just things to scare.
Translating the manual and learning _why_ the field is there completely changed how I listen to this song. The church grounds were the frontline of a war.
The screams are battle cries, the wobbles are the troops footsteps rushing in, the bass notes the gunfire and cannons, the clacking is the clashing of melee weapons, and then it ends as dead-silent as it started.
Why I am a fan of Terraria's "Graveyard"
If you translate the manual, the description of the Lost Echo enemy reads:
"An echo-of-self from a past ruin seeker whose owner gave up. Watch and listen closely, and release it from its agony."
It's the physical manifestation of all the players who gave up. Makes sense that they only show up in the graveyard, one of the most difficult places to navigate in the game. I know I gave up there before returning months later and beating the game...
Thanks to GamePass, I actually gave this game a try where I otherwise would’ve likely passed over it due to it not being backed by a big name developer/publisher in the industry, and let’s just say that I am honestly ashamed of myself for limiting myself for so long since this game is absolutely awesome.
Just finished ringing the two bells and I’m still hooked and enthralled by the world and atmosphere my little fox avatar is exploring. Definitely one of the best indie games I’ve played as of late, just sayin’. 😊
Aside from the FF7 Remake games, I've been playing exclusively indie titles for the past couple of years, and I have to say that I'm having much more fun with the wide and varied gameplay that the big namers just don't offer. So many of the same games remade over and over with minor tweaks and upgrades just because the big devs don't want to innovate, since innovation risks people not wanting to buy or play games they don't already enjoy.
Stuff like Tunic, Death's Door, Ori and the Blind Forest, Slay the Spire, Monster Train, Nova Drift, Hades, and Whisker Squadron: Survivor all take big risks in being different in different ways, _and it's so goddamned refreshing._
@@Lycanthromancer1 yo a deaths door fan! I've played most of those, I'll have to give the rest a try.
SAME. thank you Mister canadian guy.
@@Lycanthromancer1 you need to play hyper light drifter, celeste, and signalis
Oh, and check Rogue Invader. Holy fudge nuggets, it's _brilliant._
Some say music is a language. And Tunic is a game that took that seriously. Amazing work, I will never forget this OST
Tuneic?
Apparently literally cause they put a lot of hidden messages in the music and sound effects
I've been clamoring for the full release of this soundtrack. It's even better than I could have imagined!
The soundtrack is simply SPECTACULAR. A true delight of taste and atmosphere. This is a gift to humanity.
PERIOD.
Went in expecting an uninspired and quirky LoZ clone - I could not have been more wrong.
Tunic is the most spirited, most faithful homage to old school Zelda ever made, and even the soundtrack reflects the care and attention the associated parties had when creating something so wonderful.
Huge thanks to @Finjico and Gamepass for bringing this game to my attention.
02 Memories of Memories and 24 Forget to Forget are beautiful. Thank you
You can tell this is a labor of love.
This soundtrack is already and easily up there with my other favorite game soundtracks; Nier: Automata, Shadow of the Colossus and DKC2. Love this so freaking much
I totally hear Aquatic Ambience (DKC/2?) vibes in these songs.
Have to agree. I look forward to playing the game.
If you like those, I highly recommend the Fastfall soundtrack, another prior soundtrack by Lifeformed.
incredible experience overall, from the nearly wordless story to the trilling synthesizers washing over the soundtrack, i'm already in love with this game.
after a full playthrough of both endings and all secrets, i feel it is necessary to say this game is not only an experience, a culmination of wonderfully executed art forms, but most importantly a masterpiece. every little sound and echo, every little transition from one mood to the next, every little detail in the world of tunic awes and inspires. nobody who collaborated on this project did a bad job, and i send my graditude for such a memorable journey.
Redwood Colonade gives me big Chrono Trigger Secret of the Forest vibes and so I love it
The melancholic back and forth of the synth invokes a "Lost woods" vibe for me. But Legend of Zelda parallels are pretty easy to make in this game.
waoo i was thinking the same i was about to write it
Words cannot express how much I like everything about this game, including it's soundtrack
Yup, definitely up there with my favourite game soundtracks of all time, including Chronotrigger, Mario's, Ori, Zelda, etc. Amazing.
This soundtrack is just on another level. "This time is different" at 2:49:48 is so beautiful, it makes me think about how amazing it is that music is able to have a profound impact on your mood even without the inclusion of vocals. This has to be one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard.
Music is so damn powerful it amazes me how much emotion you can convey just through sound alone without vocals. It shows you don't always need vocals to get emotions across
If this can make me cry, it's amazing. From Far Shores and Early Birds is a def happy cry moment for me
😳
incredible. you can really hear how much love they put into this album!! absolutely amazing!!!
This is such a big comfort game for me. Whenever I'm anxious or really sad, I just zone out to this game and its music, exploring the overworld, solving puzzles, and just vibing. It came at the right time. Deepest thanks to everyone involved in the making of this game.
I listen to this while I play Minecraft. The music always fits with whatever i'm doing.
The beat drop @ 1:05:57 is the best in the game.
reminds me alot of celeste music
When I hear this song start the first thing that I want to listen is that drop
This game is nostagia overload. The good ending was pretty emotional. Remembering my childhood with my brother. Who helped my through A Link to the Past
1:23:03 Sageless, the Secret Gathering Place music, gives me chills. It's so tearfully beautiful and peaceful. :')
Same, it's so fitting too, like filled with nostalgia for when the fairies were free and the in-game world was a better place. It's a bittersweet kind of mood.
A lot of these songs give me similar vibes to the Hyper Light Drifter OST and I dig that.
Oh my god I thought I was the only one
I wish more games sounded like Disasterpiece's Hyper Light Drifter and Fez OST's
The soundtracks for both games draw heavily on melodic inspiration from Impressionist musicians like Satie and Debussy, which is probably why they sound similar. You can really hear it in tracks like Panacea from the HLD soundtrack and Ruin Seeker from this soundtrack.
I’d love a vinyl release, I *LOVE* that Gorgeous Cover Art! 💎
It's messing with me how I spent the past 5 days playing this game and got the 100% good ending, but I hardly remember where a lot of these tracks played, only knowing that they did play at some point or another, which is not a merit I can give most AAA titles. Every stage load had its own unique song to go with it which I REALLY LOVE.
The music is on par if not better than Minecraft's soundtrack. Its amazing
2:06:00 is so good! I believe that’s the song used when your fighting in the gauntlet in the monastery. So epic
Racing for safety. That's what it is. But yes. It is the gauntlet.
In the cathedral actually I think; the monastery is the abandoned building in the quarry
I'm near to complete the game (true ending) but I wished I was still far away from the conclusion, Tunic was a really emotional journey and You certainely made a great part of It.
Thank You for making this experience unforgettable!
Do you mean 'unforgettable'?
@@blazingsaddle166 Absolutely 😅
Thank you for pointing out, I haven't notice It
This Game is very great, with Amazing soundtracks. I hope this game gets a dlc.
Bought and started streaming this game yesterday immediately fell in love with the visuals, gameplay, and most of all music!! Easily one of the best indie games I've played, and I WILL be listening to this soundtrack on loop!
I love the song My Favorite Customer
I remember seeing the shop keeper for the first time and think he was a boss, but then the music started and I immediately chilled with him
I mean this OST was literally flawless. Can't think of a better one I've heard in decades, know you have something good on your hands when I have dozens of tracks in the game that I can't pick from being my favorite.
This ost causes pleasant relief and goosebumps. Each musical composition is interesting in its own way.
TUNIC 🦊♥️
Some friends were coming over and they saw and got this game on game pas. I thought I wouldn't play, but my brother convinced me anyway. I'm so glad I played it. 10/10 game
I love the distant and foreboding yet comforting sound of Contours of War at 37:55. The feeling it gives me is mysterious, dangerous, and familiar all at once.
Probably one of the best game soundtracks I've ever heard.. its beautiful and fits the game perfectly. Really hope this game and artits get several awards for their work!
I can't believe how much easier it is to write and stay focused when I'm listening to music like this.
I'm glad to know that music helps you write and stay focused. I believe that music can have a powerful effect on our mood, creativity, and productivity. What kind of music do you like to listen to when you write? I'm curious to know, I'm trying to write a story and sometimes I need some inspiration. Greetings ☺
I have never played this game, but I love listening to this album.
This OST deserves a "Shut up and take my money" without thinking, Is amazing every note ❤️💕
Some Yasunori Mitsuda vibes here ! love it
that's what i thought as well.
This OST is absolutely perfect. It really elevated the game to an even higher place. One of the best soundtracks out there. I love listening to this in my office now, thank you!
I just bought Tunic day and date on PSX. I am blown away.
The moment I started the game and heard the music, I could tell I was gonna enjoy it. This soundtrack is so good for a game that had a handful of people working on it.
This is basically just a new fantastic lofi for me to have on while I code.
I listen to this while I play Minecraft. The music always fits with whatever i'm doing.
this game is so good the music sometimes makes me want to cry (in a good way). the absolute confusion when you start playing is almost magical and the satisfaction once you have mastered it is great but then it ends. like i know there are still secrets that haven't been discovered but i still wish i could experience it for the first time again. if you enjoyed this game you probably would enjoy outer wilds, that's another game that made me feel this way though i think this game is even better in invoking those emotions.
I've had Outer Wilds in my library for over a year and been really interested in playing it but haven't yet. I should really change that lol
Decided to give this game a try after reading a few reviews. Immediately was blown away by the soundtrack and would've kept playing for that alone. Great game, even better OST.
1:31:17 finally i found it 😋
Glad you found it!
So fantastic feeling ✨
17:20 has such wonderful Chrono Trigger vibes.
I wasn't previously aware that Lifeformed did the soundtrack for Tunic. Now I know, and it makes perfect sense. I still listen to the Fastfall soundtrack regularly and now plan to give Tunic's soundtrack more listening time too.
False DMCA strikes can go to hell! 😡 Hopefully this album upload isn't affected like the rest of the uploads.
Same. Really hoping the situation can be sorted out soon
Memories of Memories has instantly become one of my favorite video game songs of all time, bravo!
Redwood Colonnade took me right back to donkey Kong country and how that sounded. Chills.
Ah... My favourite costumer, welcome!!! 54:36
Tunic feels like a spiritual successor to FEZ in ways, I mean even compare the album art being a surreal rainbow hypercube.
I was staggered by how much it felt like FEZ as well. Phil Fish was definitely an asshole about many things but that game is an unbelievable accomplishment.
Unbelievable soundtrack. Brought the mystery and awe that this game was entirely predicated upon.
Once I'm done with my final weeks of college, i'm definitely going to play this game. Really looking forward to playing :)
The boss themes sure hit different when I’m not getting my ass kicked 😂
Hope the DMCA gets resolved, didn't realise how badly I relied on the soundtrack being on Spotify until these last couple of days :(
tunic is perfect
Everything is perfect
One of the most beautiful soundtracks I´ve heard, its magical, immersive, simply a piece of art . The only bad thing about the game is that is short.... :(
Have you reached the true ending?
if you 100% the game its not at all short lmao

I am having a nostalgic moment right now
I used to think that the original Donkey Kong Country trilogy composed, and produced by David Wise had the best atmospheric music that sets you into a certain mood.
Then a new challenger approaches with Tunic, Lifeformed, and this amazing soundtrack. I've been playing Tunic recently, and the music is so soothing, I listen to the soundtrack constantly, whether I'm in my car, or listening to it at work.
If I'm having a rather stressful day, I go to a private place to be alone in my own thoughts, and I play this to calm me down. This is truly a musical masterpiece. Lifeformed made a fan for life.
I'm being a total pedant but David Wise only composed a little under two-thirds of the of the DKC trilogy's music. Eveline Fischer did like 30-something tracks and Kondo had a couple too.
@@hb-robo Regardless, you get what I'm saying.
This right here, is the best OST of the year so far, will probably be the best come the end of the year, and is literally up there as one of the best of all time! I really hope a lot of people get to experience this game and its music!
I haven't looked into the game yet, but I've been playing this whole soundtrack on repeat since discovering it the other day, so many great tunes

Never expected this to be the OST for a game like Tunic. Awesome and unique take, well executed! Also, it is h8ghly interesting to analyse it musically
Why yes, I am indeed crying. Why do you ask?
I don't have the time or money to play tunic right now, but simply being able to listen to this masterpiece of a soundtrack while I work is such a blessing. Thank you for sharing this!
Truly, a legendary album!
everything about this game is flawless
Tunic soundtrack - still a top 5 favorite in 2023 :)
True CYBERPUNK music for a game that is wholesome.
True contemporary music well used. I can't thank enough these themes.
It is genuinely sad that people associate any synths or pads with cyberpunk. This is absolutely not meant to evoke that in any way.
What an absolute masterpiece. With Dustforce being my favorite game OST of all time (yes - I hold it above works such as Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy (number), and Castlevania), I only hope there is a vinyl release in the works to commemorate this in physical form!
Damn ... are you me?
Tunic really brought me into a new phase of gaming huh
I don't even have played the game but gosh this music take out your soul of your body, beautiful
Edit: Now I have played the game, wow, love it
Ocean Glaze has such a relaxing yet nostalgic feeling. I imagined myself back then as a 10 year old without worries, just playing old school games. This game was truly a masterpiece.
I really like #56 - Snowmelt. I just stood there and listened to it for a while when I played this.
This is why I listen to videogame OSTs.
Man, I love "The Siege". It's definitely one of the game's strongest soundtracks, not that the others are a particularly low bar. I also really love Patron Saint of Astronomers a whole lot.
I started playing this game a few days ago especially cuz foxes are my spirit animal & omg one of the best games I have played in years! The music is mesmerizing & perfect for meditation. I love the fact the game is a bit challenging so the game can last longer, making the game well worth playing. I'm not sure how far I am along in the game but it's so beautiful & cute! I hope it gets game of the year!
I agree with you that the music is mesmerizing and perfect for meditation. I also like that the game is challenging, but not frustrating. It makes you feel like you are exploring a mysterious and magical world, full of secrets and surprises. I don’t want to spoil anything for you, but I can tell you that the game has a lot of content and replay value. You can find different outfits, weapons, and items that change the way you play. You can also discover hidden areas and secrets that reveal more about the story and the lore of the game. There are also different endings, depending on your choices and actions. I hope you get to experience them all.
You said that foxes are your spirit animal. That’s very interesting. What does that mean to you? How do you relate to foxes? I think foxes are very beautiful and smart animals. They have a lot of qualities that I admire, such as curiosity, adaptability, and creativity. They are also very playful and friendly, but also independent and cunning. I think they are a great symbol of balance and harmony. Do you agree? and... How would I know what my own spirit animal is?
Never heard of this game before but damn if this isn't an awesome ost! :0
My favorite indie...
It saddens me to know that I will NEVER be able to play this game again. It wouldn't be the same... I will keep the memories of the first experience
wait a few months and it will feel brand new again
Oh man, this game's soundtrack has a unique property to it, something that just calms me down and grounds me when I'm feeling all sorts of crummy. Lately I've been getting really anxious and all doomsday-ish in my head and find that nothing helps me calm down more effectively than this music. It's kinda crazy, actually.
beautiful ost, it'll be remembered forever
I'm gonna cry so hard when I re-listen to From Far Shores in two years from now
Fun fact: Tunic's main menu OST spells "Wellcome" in the game's sound Language
One of my favorite videos game soundtracks of all time

the ost is so soothing
3rd day listening to this straight through...i cant stop listening...its such captivating music sheesh
Liked. Added to a playlist. Bought it. Thank you for posting this for me to discover.
This is truly the best game or film original soundtrack ever created. Thank you dearly for your contribution to human culture. You are a true creative genius.
Best game of the century in my opinion
Just relaxing with the music, then the PTSD hits when "The Knight" starts playing.
God, this is just delightful. Absolutely nails that dreamlike melancholy that was rife in those old 16-32-bit JRPGs. Shades of David Wise, Yasunori Mitsuda, Saori Kobayashi, and Disasterpeace, but absolutely its own thing too. Sold me on the game tbh.
