Compared to s23+ it's no contest. More ram (+50%), more storage (+100%), bigger battery, fast charging. In tech tablets 3 way shootout for cameras the magic 5 Pro held it's own with the ultra and Pro Max. Put it with the honor pro 3 earbuds (very high ratings) fast wireless charge stand, case and screen insurance) for 850. I refuse to be a fanboi and have no brand loyalty. Last phone was Sony, before that Samsung (twice) Sony, hct. I look at features, spec (tend to go flagship) and value. Features wise it 5-10% short on the S23 Ultra: S-pen, few more pixels, 10x zoom (12mp). But magic5 has better battery and charging and good pwm. If I match ram, storage, cpu, charger, earbuds, wireless charger and 2 cases with same spec Samsung I'm looking at £1800. Double what I paid. It wasn't even close for me. Some folks are very brand loyal, that's fine. I think sometimes companies count on it, but I'm quite happy to throw any company to the wing if there's a better deal.

And since there will be a regular and an ultra version of the Honor, the pro is basically like the plus
Why is your skin so red?.
Most images/video are clearly better on the S23+, would always choose the S23+, which also has a more stylish design. The S23+ also has really good Sound & battery life. Samsung wins 🎉
😂😂😂 good one
Yes, the S23+ is really good. Samsung S23 serie is unbeatable 💪🏻, neither the HONOR Magic5 Pro, iPhone, nor anyone else, can compete with the S23, S23+ & S23 Ultra. Well done Samsung 👍🏻.
@@sirdann1 I saw a battery life test, and the Honor beat the S23U by an hour! They are close. For non-Samsung fans the Honor is a solid alternative and much cheaper than the S23+/Ultra.
@@sirdann1 I didn't know Samsung uses bots
For the price Honor got the S23 Plus beaten.
I would never buy Honor or Xiaomi or any other Chinese brand! I have been using Samsung for 20 years and I have never been disappointed!
Opposite for me, I've used Samsung and I just can't go back after using both Xiaomi and Honor 🔥
Let's not just generalise and say you would not use any Chinese brand when your house is probably filled with things or parts that are made in China.
I purchased a Galaxy Note 4 a long time ago. When it was just launched. That was the first and probably the last time I purchased Samsung.
I purchased an iphone 4s when it was just launched. That was the first and probably the last time I purchased an iphone.
Since then chinese brands are my go-to because they offer so much at a similar price.
@@TheGoldenDonuttt You're probably right, but I personally like Samsung and I'll stay with Samsung! We all give our opinion for nothing! Everyone buys what they want and what they like!
Xiaomi is really good but the software ain't the best. Samsung's One UI is amazing
OH NO.....😂. Now you're going to get all the Samsung fan boys acting more childish than a Samsung UI. 😂😂. There's just something's you just don't say. 😂
Samsung all the way. No way am i buying an Honor phone.

Honor all the way. No way I'm buying a Samsung phone.
What breed is your cat?😀
British blue 😻
The HM5 Pro wipes the floor with the S23 +. I can't believe people will actually walk around with an inferior phone because of software update promises.😂
I'm waiting for Google Pixel 8 series, Samsung S 24 series and Iphone 15 series. These three Brand compete best of best in terms of Photography etc....
Clearly honor magic camera is much better
This Honor does not actually have much to envy to an S23 Plus, and from a hardware point of view it is even above.
For me (I mean for me) its only faults are, its software (not that it's bad, but I can't find anything better than One-Ui currently), its pill 💊 which should have been centered and which above all is placed 2-3mm too low and especially the video quality (Samsung is well above).
This Honor reminds me of my Mate 20 Pro 🥲
Ps: on the other hand, to choose between it a Pixel 7 Pro and even 8 Pro to come, I would choose the Honor 😜
🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️🏃🏽♂️
But who wants a crappy Honor phone? They literally had to pay you to push there crap.
Magic 5 pro beat 23 ultra by camera, video n screen
Nobody ask you to buy an Honor phone. Just buy a Samsung for the rest of your life
gorgeous kitten🥰
not here to watch the video, just to answer the question.... NO!
The camera is shite compared to Samsung
