You’re doing the Lord’s work. I really appreciate how you provide modifications too. You don’t have to do that but it really helps us out. You’re going above and beyond. Much love to you for that man. You’re awesome!
Dude you just saved me $$$ from buying either the IronMind belt or Spud Inc belt. I don't know why I didn't think of this stuff before but I'm glad I found your channel. That's way stronger than everything else.
No entiendo porque no tienes más suscriptores??? Tu videos son geniales. I don't understand why you don't have more suscribers??? Your videos are so fu*#$@ great.
@@DesignBuildLift Just did it, and it does look good, feels good too, the hook on mine allows for a convenient loading/unloading on the fly with my (homemade) loading pin. Thanks again for the very straightforward tutorial!
I made mine by threading a ratchet strap through a garden hose then putting the hose through a pool noodle. Getting the strap through the hose was a struggle! Ended up super gluing a magnet inside a slit in the strap and teasing it through with an iron plate. Feels great except it's bright coral pink (I ordered red) 😐
Dude you just saved me $600+ (hit the bell plus scribed!) I was seriously considering buying the Belt Squat 2.0 but was scratching my nugget as to were to put it cause my home gym space is at a premium.... Decided to do a quick diy belt squat search and your video popped up. Can’t thank you enough. This will do for now and probably for a long time. With the bench press I use I can either move the bench out of the way and use the bar only to hold on to while squatting. Btw were did you get the white steps stools and do they come in black?
Wow! Thank you for that! I really appreciate it! If interested in Belt Squats - be sure to check out the 2-in-1 Belt Squat & Reverse Hyper video on my channel as well. The stools are $7 each from IKEA (Product Name = "Bolmen" Step Stool). However, they have an advertised weight limit of 200 LBS each. They work great for limited use, but I would exercise caution due to this weight limit. I plan on releasing a video tutorial soon on how to make a DIY version (out of wood) soon (where it would allow you to use it as a Lifting Block and a Step Stool to stand on for Elevated Belt Squats, T-Bar Rows, etc.). Since you subscribed, you will be notified the moment that this project drops! Thanks again!
@@DesignBuildLift thank you dude. Yeah the step stools might not be all that safe. Thought to use cinderblocks or maybe just use the barbell on the rack and lower the arms to the height of my knees and squat from one end. Probably the cheapest way.
Great video... Thank you very much for sharing. I have a question where did you get those white raisers or blocks that you use to do your cable belt squats, landmine belt squats, elevated belt squats and standing calf raises almost at the end of the video? Thank you very much in advance. God-bless you 🙏
Thank you do much! 🙏🙏🙏 Those white stools are actually from Ikea (product name = Bolmen Step stool). However, they have an advertised weight limit of only 200 LBS each. Therefore, they aren’t really sufficient for most applications. I do plan on making my own DIY version very soon. Be sure to subscribe to the channel to be notified the moment that the project drops!
Sure! One way = Hook the belt onto your rack’s J-hook (attached to front upright), insert foot into belt, stabilize by placing bottom of shoe against the rack’s front upright. 🤘🙏💪
Instead of using a 10 foot ratchet strap try a 12 or 14 foot. Both are Readily available at Amazon. Cut off excess if necessary, and burn the end with a lighter so that it doesn’t fray. Ensure the width is a minimum of 1.5” otherwise it will be uncomfortable. Hope this helps! 🤘🙏💪

Thank you sir. You've just saved me a lot of money. Belt squat belts are a fortune and have been desperate for an alternative. Thanks again.
Glad to help! If you do buy a belt, I highly recommend the “Henny Belt”

Awesome! Sounds comfortable! I know mine is. Sorry about the coral….🤣
@@DesignBuildLift Nah it's okay. I just bought matching leg warmers and now I look fabulous! 👍
This is a great design, thanks for sharing! Question: is it possible to somehow make the belt adjustable to fit multiple waist sizes?
I will definitely give that idea some thought!!!
@@DesignBuildLift Thanks again. This is a really great design!
Those showers seats are the real winners, great idea !
Thank you, Brother!!!!

What about two beer crates, upside down?

Saved me ripping though dip belts and it feels much better! Now I can do my cable driven belt squats pant less!!!
Jk 😜 but Ty it works perfectly
Awesome!!! I agree it is deceptively VERY comfortable!
@@DesignBuildLift Yup, and I didn't have to spend one more penny! Had everything in my garage thanks again!
A 1 meter lifting sling is better. It already has the loops sewn into it and rated to 1 tonne...
Great idea!
Nice. Although that's 7 dollars in material but 50 dollars worth of my time to make it
